A cluster of bees showed up at my front door. I called a couple of places and was told they hadn't been there long enough to do anything and to wait a few days. With two small dogs that didn't make me happy but I waited and the bees grew! Three days in and after trying home remedies that failed I contacted another "bee guy" who wanted to charge a few hundred dollars to remove the hive and take the bees alive. When I explained there was no hive I could see he said they were in my walls and it would be more. I simply didn't believe that since they'd only shown up a few days before. So... I reached out for help on Yelp and Colby was the first to reply within minutes! He quoted a fair price and didn't try to make it sound more complicated than it was. He was at my house within the hour. Next morning no more bees (alive that is) and still no bees! The scary part was he took one look and knew they were Africanized bees based on how they were flying. Colby is absolutely hands down the best! I get nervous having men in my home with me and my kids while my husband is gone. He made us feel so comfortable!!! My son and i have been getting bit by something daily for the past two weeks. He inspected our beds very well for bed bugs. Sprayed the house, garage, and backyard! So sweet to my kids. We have been using Purple Pest's services for several months now, and I am so glad we chose to go with this company for our centipede problem. I had reached out to several companies on Yelp, a few of which never even responded to me, but Colby responded within a few minutes addressing my concerns and offering a deal through Yelp. He was able to come out the following afternoon, which gave me great peace of mind since we had seen several centipedes in one day within the garage and by our back door. The pesticide he uses has held up, resulting in lots of centipede carcasses the first couple of months, but we have him come out every two months, and with each treatment we find less and less centipedes and practically nothing else. I get an email a few days in advance letting me know the day and time of my appointment and the number I can call if I need to change it. There is a second reminder via text the day before service. After service is completed, he verifies the amount he is charging to the card on file and emails the invoice. It is affordable and a great value with the spray and granules he puts down, that are also safe for pets. He is also very responsive if there are ever questions between services, such as when we had heavy rains a week after one service, and he offered to come right back out if we saw any insects, but the stuff used is very weather resistant, and the granules work well with moisture so it probably became even more effective after the rains. Great guy, great service, and great product. We will definitely keep using this service, even when we move to a new house. Thanks, Colby! read more

I honestly did not realize how bad our pigeon problem was. One of our neighbors told us that they watch the pigeons going underneath our solar panels, and we had noticed a lot of bird feces on the sidewalk beside the house. We phoned Purple Pest Solutions because of their high reviews, and they did not disappoint. Colby was easy to communicate with and we set up the job. They moved all our patio furniture and proceed to pressure wash all the nests and future pigeons away. They put wire barriers, so pigeons could no longer get under the solar panels. Then came the traps, which they put on the top of the house. Evidently adult pigeons don't move on easily. Over a two week period or so Colby would come and take out the stubborn pigeons and kill them, about eleven were trapped that way! We were very happy with the pest control service that Purple Pest Solution did, and as much as I dislike the idea of killing birds, I also don't want them nesting on my roof and having all the feces around our home and yard.
