It's been a long time since we've had food from this location. Called in a pickup order, and the service was friendly. The Buffalo chicken tenders are just as good as they always have been. Only hope they can keep up the good work and go back to the regular business hours as before.

So this review isn't so much about the quality of food, or even about the quality of the establishment, but I wager that a fair amount of Yelpers will be familiar with the cozy sentiments and memories I have for this place. I spent hours upon hours every weekend throughout high school packed into corner booths with my friends after a marathon hang out session. The perfect cap to the night was some hot chicken fingers and a chocolate shake. 24-hour Greek Diners are my favorite hang outs, and there are plenty of them with higher quality food and better surroundings, but this one holds a special place in my heart and always will.

Open 24 hours so it is great for the daytime or late at night after a round of drinking (which is usually how I end up here) There's all kinds of food on the menu but honestly there's only 2 things on the menu that I want...crave...every time.... The cream of lemon chicken rice is delicious. I'm a fan. The rice is sometimes a little mushy but I'm not picky when it comes to the rice in that soup as long as it isn't undercooked. Chicken fingers... It's all about the chicken fingers. Delicious!!! I get the regular ones (they have some doused in hot sauce) and the honey mustard dressing. It is about 10.00 for this order but you get a TON if chicken and lots of fries. I'm someone that loves food and I always think I can finish but there's so much there! It's on the Appetizer menu soo it's meant to share but I use it for the main course. Staff is interesting, they are either super friendly, run down and look beat tired or they have snappy attitude. Come here and watch the customers and you will see why. Sometimes they deal with some real turds.

Rain delay? Breakfast adventure…read more Our baseball tournament got delayed bright and early thanks to Mother Nature, so instead of sitting around waiting, we did what any reasonable group would do, we went looking for food. Of course, I pulled up Yelp (because Yelp never lets me down) and it led us right down the road to Sunrise Cafe. I'm actually mad at myself for forgetting to take pictures because everything looked so good that I skipped photographer mode and went straight into eating mode. There were seven of us, and we covered just about the whole menu, Denver omelets, French toast, over-easy and sunny-side-up eggs, chopped beef with eggs, and more. Not a single complaint at the table. Everything came out hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly, the atmosphere was welcoming, and it had that family-friendly hometown feel that makes you want to come back. If you find yourself in the area looking for breakfast, do yourself a favor and stop in. Rain delay or not, this place was a home run.

I would NEVER step foot in here ever again!…read more On my very first visit, I was seated in the narrow room to the left where there was a row of booths on both sides in this long dining room. The male manager seated me and there I sat and sat and sat. Yes, the room was full with waitresses going back and forth, NOT one said hello, we'll be right with you, acknowledging that I was alive. After 10 minutes, I grabbed a male manager and said nobody is waiting on me. He gave me a cup of coffee and he went straight back into the kitchen and spoke with a cook about getting me a server. After waiting another 15 minutes, while waitresses were all around me, yet not one stopped to find out what I wanted to eat. After looking at their tired, dirty and late menu for far too many times. I got up and went up to pay for my lone cup of coffee. A male employee minding the desk, ran up to the register as if I was going to skip out on paying for the $3.50 cup of coffee. I told him I was sitting here for over 25 minutes and nobody bothered to wait on me. We're very busy! Try that excuse on someone else, that's bullshit! A well trained waitress would greet you properly and say something to you, not ignore you. I was dressed properly. What he should have done for my inconvenience was comp me the cup of coffee! I wasn't looking for anything for free but a good business person would have comped the coffee. I would NEVER step foot in this place ever again!

Well, I came to Yelp and Frankie V's popped up. Crazy thing, we do our grocery shopping across the street from Frankie V's! So we had passed it many times. We were warmly greeted by the bartender Natalie. She was awesome! It was full at the bar, Sunday Night Football so totally understandable. We sat in the booth. The booth was comfy and cozy. It's a cool spot, total "Cheers" vibe. We had our mind on fish sandwiches but the unassuming owner, Martina came by and greeted us. Then she gave us the rundown on what was the best items. EVERYTHING here is homemade, made from scratch! Loved that! She sold us on the special, 8pc chicken (the whole chicken), fries and an XL 1-topping pizza for $39.00. Well we got it and boy that was THEE BEST fried chicken I have had in YEARS. I mean YEARS! Literally fresh and dripping hot juices everywhere! It was seasoned to perfection! So good! The pizza was INCREDIBLE! It was a great crust and the flavor was amazing! The fries were good! Home cut, I could tell! We delighted in our meal! We look forward to returning soon and trying the fish!
