They consistently do a fantastic job with bathing and cutting my large breed dog! On my first visit I went in and explained some of the issues we were having with my dog's coat. The groomer was able to suggest a style that addressed our concerns and now that is our go-to cut. I'm surprised to see some of the unfavorable, older reviews. I've been taking my dog here 2+ years, and each visit has been terrific. In fact, they are very accommodating around appointments and the front desk staff was able to put me on a waitlist and reach out when an earlier appointment became available due to a lack of flexibility with my schedule. I feel like the quality of their grooming and the top-notch customer service are some of the best in the area and the services are priced competitively. UPDATE Not only was my experience with the front desk horrible but when I got home I had noticed the top of my pups head had not been cut at all. They used the extra hair on her head to tie a bow on it. I don't care about the bow, it's just going to fall off once we get home anyways so now I am left with my dog half groomed. Not only this but they cut her nails way too short and one of them completely fell off! I was left with a bloody mess all over my house!! If you love your dog, DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE! I've taken my doggie here twice so far. They have done an excellent job. I have a little Chihuahua that sheds horribly. She's white, so the fur shows up on everything. We have used them several times for 3 of our pets for several years, but this morning we had the worst customer service we have ever experienced. Apparently we got the wrong time for an appointment that we had made 2 months ago, and instead of working with us the lady was rude and refused to put us on a cancellation list or try to book the next available. Today was my first and last time having Purr-Fect Pets Round Rock groom my dog or have my business. I had an appointment this morning at 11am and when I showed up I was greeted by an employee who asked me if I have ever been here before in which I respond No I haven't. The employee hands me paperwork to fill and sign, asks me about my dogs coat and how I want it cut then says we'll call when he's done. I go next door to have breakfast and hang out for a couple hours, assuming that's as long as they needed, but I was wrong. Its 100 degrees out so I go into the groomers where another employee asks me if I need help, I say, just waiting on my dog. in which she replies, oh he's still going to be a little while. I said okay and proceeded to wait in the establishment. after about 20 min or so, a 3rd employee (who turns out to be the manager) approaches me and starts questioning me. asking things like, did so-and-so tell you how long this is going to take? In which I said, No, and she starts to explain to me that they don't like for people to wait and that my dog will be another 2 hrs. As I start to respond, the manager begins to talk loudly over me while I'm speaking. I couldn't believe what she was doing, so once I got the chance to talk again, I asked her If I could pay now and she said, let me check and walked to the back. Really? At that point I left and decided I would wait to deal with her once I got my dog back. 2hrs later and I get a phone call to pick up my pup. The Manager was up front to check me out, and once I payed my $91.02 bill, I asked her if she was the manager and she said yes. So I told her how their lack of communication with me was beyond absurd, especially after you ask me if I'm new to your business and I say Yes. The worst part though was what happened next. I told the manager that I do not appreciate being talked over after listening to her and what she had to say. in which she responded "I didn't speak over you and I'm sorry you feel that way." What a dismissive attitude from someone who's in the business of customer service. I responded to her " You're sorry for the way that I feel?" NO! Its a fact that you spoke over me, it's not how I feel, it's A FACT that you were rude. I bet you do it so much that you don't even realize it, did you realize how many times I had to say "hold on, I'm not done" when I was trying to be heard. Actions speak louder then you can talk over me so just notice how I won't ever be returning. Plus they didn't cut my dogs hair how I wanted, its still too long and hot for the summer and I can't believe it took them 4 hrs to do so little. I guess I am lucky to get treated like crap and not my dog here at Purr-fect Pets RR grooming. STAY FAR AWAY! read more

Very rude customer service. Booked an appointment for my dog and had to cancel last minute. I wanted to to schedule and was completely okay with the late fee of $40. Dori seemed to be confused and had a terrible attitude about re scheduling saying "I don't even know how far out we are booked". When she should have been able to figure it out within seconds but instead lost business once again for customer service. My dog was a lost dog that I have had for a couples weeks now, it took me forever to find a report of his vaccinations so when I told Dori that I wanted to rebook so I can get his second vaccination she said "ummm well you should have already known this when you booked the appointment". It doesn't matter when I'm going to pay the late fee and want re book my appointment. read more

There are two types of groomers at this place. Groomers like Charity- who are competent and careful and thorough. And groomers like Shelli who are dishonest and can not admit when a job is too big for them. My dog is a handful of work. I have spent 3 years and THOUSANDS of dollars in upkeep growing out her hair. Groomers like shelli do not think about that before shaving your dog almost nude to avoid work. She fed me the same BS that many other groomers have over the years saying that matts were the reason for shaving. It's just not true- its laziness or just incompetence. I have had my sweetheart to many groomers in many different states and matts can be blended or cut out to save the overall length. Were there a few spots that needed to be shaved? Yes- i do not deny that. It had been over a month since her last full groom. But the fact is shelli was in way over her head and could not be professional enough to admit that she was ill-equipped for the job is where i am peeved. We all have limits- i am not expecting perfection but i hate when groomers make a excuses and lie to your face. She agreed to my face to salvage my pups hair and then did what she wanted in the end. VERY DISHONEST. My mistake assuming that everyone here was as talented as charity- but as you can tell from the pictures its just not the case. I understand wanting to do the best to keep the dogs confortable. But if that was the case she would have called for me to pick her up and brought her back to finish another day. But instead shelli took the easy way out and then lied about it to cover her tracks. Also she managed to cut my pups warts.. how is that even possible... left her ears untrimmed AND didn't clean up her pads enough... just careless work from a clearly NOVICE groomer read more

We have been taking our 2 small dogs (shi tzu and yorkie mix) here since opening weekend. They do a great job even with our grumpy shi tzu and are very attentive to our grooming requests. They have good availability on short notice and have a rewards program which is nice. Convenient to my house and the price is at or below the other groomers in the area, but we have not been happy with the results at other groomers we have tried like we are here. read more

My first experience with Purr-Fect Pets was this past Tuesday, May 8th and I took my Minature Poodle Boofii who is almost 2,. Evelyn was to be his groomer. I was very impressed of how very nice she was and she explained the services throughly and how she would give Boofii breaks so he wouldn't be overwhelmed. I was worried at first leaving him since he isn't used to being away from home. Evelyn reassured me and I felt better and Boofii took to her right away!,! I recently started trying to groomers and this was my last stop on my list. I had no problems they were very nice and attentive they were done pretty quick and he looked very good once I picked some up. To me they are a bit pricey what I consider price is anything close to Petsmart and Petco prices. So most likely I will be going back to his old groomer because it's most cost-efficient for me. read more

I've been here two or three times with my pup, the first times had no issues but this very last visit was different. First off I felt something was off when it took an unusually long time. When I finally picked my pup up and took him home I noticed a trail of blood around the house. They clipped his nails to deep and tried to cover it up. This place is totally awesome! It is not near my house but a friend told me about them so I gave them a try. I was always so - so on Pets Mart and Pet-Co. Prices are similar but the groomers are very friendly and seem to truly care about your pet. They asked all the right questions. When I picked her up she was beautiful and seemed to have formed a bond with her groomer Charity. The place is sparkling clean and well kept. Check in and check out was easy. Very happy with this place. One of the only places I've found that you can make an appointment and your dog is in and out in about two hours. They did a GREAT job on his full groom and really listened to us. He was actually HAPPY when we picked him up. And they were so professional and even sent us a thank you card. I'm really happy with purr-fect pets. Im so sad to see some reviews of someone's fur babies who were potentially injured and hope they're ok. I will say I personally have never had issues with the groomers here and my dog is always really happy around the girls at the shop. Easy to make an appointment, easy drop off and pick up, and he always looks great. Some reviews say the price is steep but I've gone to PetSmart, petco, and a groomer on Anderson mill and the price is all comparable. I like that they include the little bandana in the service, a lot of groomers charge you for it if you want it. I've been bringing him here since Christmas last year and I'll never go back to petco or anywhere else for that matter. Whenever I'd pick my dog up from petco they'd reprimand me for the fact that my dog is scared of the dryer, the girls here are super sweet and are empathetic to the fact that they deal with dogs. It's hard finding a good groomer that does nice work and is good with your animals and is easy to book with so I'm happy. read more

Placed opened in April and is close to my house, so decided to have our Bichon and Maltipoo groomed there. Drop off and pickup was friendly and easy. Both dogs looked great when they finished! Total time was 3 hours from when I left them to when I picked them up. Prices were similar to what I paid before and same distance from my house. I would recommend trying them out. Purr-fect Pets is the best pet groomer around. I tried 2 other places, both of which did not groom my dog correctly. He was nearly unrecognizable when I picked him up from the last groomer I tried. This amazing salon has now taken care of my dog 3 times, and done an excellent job each time. They are willing to work with your schedule and do much more than other groomers for a good price. My dog is happy when I pick him up, not scared or traumatized like he has been after other groomers. They even sent us a very nice thank you card shortly after our first visit! Never come here. As seen in the pictures posted, one of the groomers scratched my already anxious dog's cornea and in theory (from the vet) choked her to keep her still- then proceeded to accept no responsibility, refused to pay emergency vet bills, and basically told my mom to f*** off. My dog is my family, and i'm still shocked that they had the nerve to do such a thing, considering they pride themselves on treating their clients/pets with "utmost respect" on their website. Had called on Saturday 8/10 to schedule an apt, and set one up for 10am this morning with whoever answered the phone. Turns out they are very unorganized for a company. i scheduled this today so my brother could drop off my pet and I could pick her up due to last minute work change and I didn't want to wait another two weeks to get in. He showed up and they had no record of even having an one scheduled for me. They kept asking who I talked to. I don't remember but I have the phone record with phone call I made on 8/10. The whole reason we scheduled it today was because they were closed Labor Day on that Saturday(tomorrow) is what I was told. I will no longer be doing business here and I will be recommending anyone in our neighborhood(around the corner) to not use this place at all. This is the second time this has happened.
