The dude at front desk was pretty freaking cool. He seemed genuine right off the bat and didn't look me down when I ran off the first time. He told me about the special care my car needed since it was newer, therefore the advertised price was not applicable. I left, went to a couple more popular competitors and their prices were absurd. Came back and was glad to have come. His price is substantially better than the popular places and you'll never catch me going and getting the Jiffy Crap. Worst experience ever. Owner was rude as soon as I walked in. Kept on trying to charge me extra. I had a coupon pulled up on my phone and he asked me what site I found it on. When I told him it was on the company website he said he couldn't find it. I showed him how to look it up on my phone and I kept saying its on your website. He then made a snide comment that it wasn't his website but the company's. Turns out he was the owner. He ended up charging me more than he should've. When I called later to ask to speak to the manager that's when he told me he was the owner. I tried to email corporate to complain but the email address is fake. Don't ever go to this place. Minus stars for these criminals. I have an older Ford F-250 pick up truck and the air conditioner stopped working. I took the truck to them and they charged me $1200 to replace the entire air conditioning system. A year and a half later we took the truck to Mt. View Tire in Fontana because the air conditioning got weak. They told me that the air conditioning system in the truck was the original system, that it had not been changed, but the the compressor was leaking and the entire system needed to be replaced. STAY AWAY FROM PERRFECT AUTO, you will get ripped off, they are not honest mechanics. read more

Yesterday (June 30th) I took my car over to a mechanic that spealizes in A/C repair only. Their diagnostic revealed that there may have been a leak due to the schrader valve being messed with and that my A/C compressor was bad. The compressor was bad due to a bad coil. They also advised me that the compressor they put in was refurbished. Needles to say I was furious but I wasn't surprised. So they gave me the option to either have a new compressor installed or have the coil replaced. At least I had options!!!! I decided to go with the cheaper option and replace the coil. Today my coil was replaced and my A/C system is working just fine!!! I urge all of you to stay away from Purrfect Auto. There is a reason why their cost of repair and labor is cheap. read more

First off l called to ask a question about using a coupon l found in the pennysaver. The phone was picked up but no one said hello l just heard whoever picked up the phone having a conversation for about a minute then hung up on me lol. I call back an again someone picked up but still not saying hello an continued to engage in their conversation. After about 30 seconds they finally said hello, no sorry about that but at least they didn't hang up this time. Anyway l explained l wanted to use the free brake inspection coupon he said sure but we will have to charge you if you don't fix it here. I explained l called because the coupon said free brake check no obligation. He said that was wrong, after telling him ok nevermind he said he could do it but asked me why l didn't want to fix it there if something was wrong. I explained l didn't want to commit to fixing it there until l knew what was wrong an how much it would cost. I decided on not even going in since he told me 2-3 times l would have to pay not honoring his coupon. read more

Came here for a BASIC oil change and they could not even get that right. The "technician" (using that word very loosely here) spent about 30 minutes trying to up sell me a transmission change that my car "desperately needed" , although the manufacturer of the vehicle doesn't recommend doing it until 150k miles (my car is no where near that). After finally convincing them it wasn't gonna happen the oil change proceeded and i got my car back. After some driving I noticed smoke coming from my hood. When I was finally able to get a look under the hood I realized that these morons forgot to put the oil cap back on my car. I contact them and was told I should buy an oil cap myself and if I wanted to they would reimburse me. After having to explain the situation over and over to them they finally agreed to give me a refund for the oil change. When I told them that I would be taking my car to a Dealership for inspection as most of the oil fell onto the engine and obviously the extent of the damage caused by their mistake is unknown until I get it properly inspected by REAL MECHANICS. This is when their attitude changed and suddenly they would not give me anything (the oil cap they lost or the refund for the oil change that I would need to do again). The manager (Bryant- had no name tag or any actual proof of being manager so that may not even be his actual name) told me they had NO CORPORATE OFFICE which is a complete lie. But don't expect corporate to be any more helpful. I have called and spoken to 3 different people all who say there is no one available to help and they would return my call which I am still waiting for). This company is full of scammers and will tell you your car needs services done when they don't even know the specifications of your vehicle. I've had to resort to resolving this through the legal system. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere that has properly trained technicians. read more

Went to get a Basic Tuneup. I was quoted $210. In the middle of the job, the managers tells me that there is a problem getting one of my spark plugs out because it is in a difficult location. Just for a Basic tuneup, they kept my car overnight, then called me the next day to tell me now my tuneup will cost another $375 because it will take them 3 1/2 more hours in labor to get the 1 spark plug out. He said they have seen these problems before with the kind of car I have but never bothered to tell me that initially. If they have seen this problem before, why wasn't I advised of this prior to them working on my car. They waited til my car was broken down and told me this and I didn't have a choice but to pay the higher price if I wanted my car back. I asked Brian, the owner/manager at that time to restore my car back to its original condition and I would pick up my care. He told me that he couldn't do that. When I expressed my concerns to the 'supposed" manager, Brian, he was very rude, argumentative and obviously didn't understand the concept of 'customer service". I asked for their corporate office number so that I could complain and he gave me the wrong number. He ended up giving me the number to another Purrfect Auto in Ontario. I sent Brian a return receipt letter indicating my demands (as suggested by the State Bureau of Auto Repair) and he refused the letter. He would not sign for it. At one point when I went to go pick up the car, he had his wife on speaker phone listening to every word I said. It was very distracting and I could hardly carry on a conversation with him because he was so busy giving his wife a blow by blow about our conversation. All Brian was very concerned with was proving his point and being right rather than making it right with the customer. When I went to go pick up my car, since he never gave me a copy of the written estimate, I asked for the original estimate that I signed, I was told that they didn't have it. Stay away from this place. I warn you now. As it stands now, if The State Bureau of Auto Repair cannot resolve this problem, I will being taking him to court. read more

purrfect auto should change their moniker to imperfect auto. they are the absolute worst. unless you like getting ripped off, steer clear of this place. buyer beware is an understatement. they lure you in with inexpensive oil changes and tune-ups, then give you a list of reccommendations that you may or may not need. they leave wires unplugged, don't put anything back together the way they found it and have you paying for parts that they claim to have replaced but didnt. moreover, they lie and tell you that everything they do is to your benefit but the only ones benefitting are them because in the long run you will wind up taking your car somewhere else not only with the initial repairs but also with whatever extra damage they may have caused. oh, and beware, they tell you that you will be towed for free to the shop and later it will show up on your invoice. bottom line, dont go there!!!!!! read more
