Their website was very easy to navigate, and I liked that appointments are reviewed and approved before they're finalized. When I arrived, Biqi greeted me warmly. I explained that my dog has anxiety, which can sometimes lead to behavioral issues, although I had given him medication beforehand to help him stay calm. She was very understanding and simply asked how I wanted his haircut. I told her I wasn't picky, as long as he was clean, comfortable, and the cut was short, I'd be happy. I know my dog can be difficult, so I appreciated that she reassured me she'd do her best. She estimated it would take about 1-2 hours depending on how my dog did, and about an hour and a half later, she called to let me know he was ready for pickup. I was pleasantly surprised since our previous groomer usually took around three hours. When I came back, Biqi apologized that she wasn't able to give him more of a teddy bear haircut because he wasn't cooperating. Honestly, I thought he looked great! I was just grateful they were willing to work with him. She took the time to explain how he behaved during the appointment and mentioned that her husband, Leo, handles the bathing while she does the haircuts. The full groom was $75, which I thought was very reasonable, especially considering the patience and care they showed my anxious dog. Before leaving, I asked if they would be willing to groom him again because I always worry his behavior might be too much. Biqi immediately reassured me that he did well and that he was more than welcome to come back. Finding a groomer who's patient with an anxious dog isn't easy, so I'm incredibly happy we found Mai Pet Grooming. They're close to home, reasonably priced, and, most importantly, they made both my dog and me feel welcome. We're looking forward to becoming regular customers!

Today, we took our shihtzu in for a full groom. I can confidently say we found our new FUR-baby's groomer. I didn't ask for a name, but our groomer was amazing. Communicated with me days leading up to the appointment and answered all my questions. She was quick at responding and accommodating to our needs. Our dog was matted down and she cleaned him up so well and her patience showed. We can't wait for his hair to grow back out and have it properly groomed here. Will post update at that time. We are very happy because it has been a struggle to find a groomer we trust with our dog. Most times he could come back with red eyes or cuts. I'm just so happy she poured so much love and care into him. This is a new location-- I'd recommend taking your pets here and I hope this business does well because she is great at what she does!

I forgot the pet groomer's name but she was super patient cutting my kitten's nails. She also did a good job trimming the hair around Muffin's eyes so she can see. I can't wait to come back and use the Self Pet Wash Service for my big dog. I was told it's only $25 and no limit for how long you're using it plus they provide the shampoo, towels and blower. UPDATE: I finally tried out the self service wash. It cut half my time to 2 hrs when I usually finish my big dog in 4 hours at home. Highly recommend the self wash service because the staff are all so kind and welcoming to help you out with anything. Plus it's super affordable $25 per pet! Definitely coming back.

1 STAR -- Absolutely unacceptable…read more I really wanted to like Woof Gang. It's cute, convenient, and close to my house. Unfortunately, after two grooming experiences, I can confidently say I will never take my dog back. My first visit was during their opening week, so I gave them a pass when they were completely disorganized and couldn't provide the services I had actually scheduled. I had to take my dog home and bring her back the next day. I figured they were simply working out the kinks. Months later, apparently the kinks are still very much there. At today's appointment, they had the wrong service listed, repeatedly asked if it was my dog's first visit, and couldn't seem to get basic information straight. I was even told by an employee not to use their scheduling app because it causes problems. Then stop sending customers texts telling them to use it! I left my dog there and was barely a mile away when they called saying they couldn't groom her as planned because of matting. I completely understand that matting may require a different haircut. That was not the problem. Their handling of it was. I was on the phone with the front desk while the groomer was yelling in the background. I asked if they could at least brush my dog out, and after the employee relayed my question, the groomer yelled: "UM, ABSOLUTELY NOT!" That was strike three. There are professional ways to explain why a service can't be performed. Yelling at a paying customer is not one of them. I immediately went back to pick up my dog. The owner was waiting for me and, rather than taking responsibility, offered excuses. She even admitted she was there and heard the groomer yelling. Then she asked what she could do to make it right. Nothing. That ship had sailed. I can forgive a new business for growing pains. I cannot forgive repeated incompetence, poor communication, employees who clearly aren't on the same page, and outright disrespect. Train your staff. Fix your systems. And teach your employees how to speak to customers. Teddy and I will happily take our business somewhere that actually knows what they're doing.
