Sure the big cantinas and huge bars on the strip are a popping again, but sometimes small is best. Bars in Vegas especially the small neighborhood bars provide some of the best atmosphere. Bar food is great at the local and simpler level. Put on those favorite sweats and let's go get a drink. Play a game of pool for a few hours and enjoy the special ones close to you in life. If you have no one special then maybe you will make a local connection or a special new friend. The sky is the limit. This is Vegas where dreams do come true. For those that like to gamble it's a little small place to play a five or even a twenty. The drinks keep a coming from beer to mules. Tell the bartender your poison and it's yours. The staff is always smiles and genuine. It's a local neighborhood bar so you may not feel the warmth as much as other patrons but it's worth the atmosphere. It's hard to find pool here in Vegas between this location and the one on Las Vegas and Pebble it's worth the cost to shoot pool with a friend. The cost of pool is around five dollars for an hour, I'm still an amateur but we learn all the time. Here's to bettering my skills at the game. Now take a sip of that drink. Nachos were disappointing! In the past, I used to enjoy their nachos, this time was not what I had in the past. They no longer make the nachos that had more toppings and what is described on their menu: restaurant style corn tortilla chips, Monterrey cheese, beans, sour cream, and salsa. This time, it was nacho tortilla chips, with nachos cheese with poorly chopped tomatoes, jalapeños and olives. Not worth the price. read more

Stopped in last night with my boyfriend and a friend because we were hungry and wanted to play pool. They had their pool league going on so we decided to have a couple drinks and wait till the tables opened up. The bartender that was on shift was WASTED. I don't just mean she had enjoyed a couple drinks with regulars. I mean she was completely toasted. She took my drink order and my friends, did not take the drink order from my boyfriend. My friend ordered a vodka cranberry and she made a vodka soda. She comped the drinks for the mixup l, which was nice, but my boyfriend waited another 15 minutes before she came back around to ask what he wanted. We got there right before shift change so we waited patiently as they were changing over. The new bartender was cleaning up and changing taps when she asked us what we wanted. I told her we would wait till she was done, no rush. The drunk bartender then decided to rudely say "we're doing shift change right now". Mind you, this was 40 minutes after her shift ended and she was still there doing whatever she was doing. We waited another 10 minutes before we decided to just leave and go to another bar. Based on the service and the actions of the bartender (I think the name tag said Powell), how drunk she was, and just all around unprofessional, we will definitely not be returning. read more

First and foremost I am a neighborhood bar person. Because I love playing pool it goes hand in hand. So here are some key points. 1. Service = A1 Lorena Bartender friendly, approachable, attentative, all while doing her job. 2. Food and Service = Food took a little while but worth the wait got a Calzone oh my god love it, Wife got a Mushrrom and Swiss Burger she really enjoyed it. And got an appetizer combo it was good and hot seemed fresh. 3. Activities = 2PooI tables and 2 Darts boards originally went in so me and the wife could have a couple drinks and play some pool unfortunately 2 saturdays out of the month they have dart tournaments. Since tables didnt open back up till 10 pm we ended up not playing but to the main reason I am giving them a 5 star. I come into Putters from time to time at the East Flamingo location to shoot some pool and grab a beer after work since it's in my neighborhood. Nice to see they have made some staff changes lots of new faces from the previous regime. Powell was a drunk and Melissa was a constant grouch. Well, this bartender was a gem. I walked in by myself on the telephone, there was no one else in the bar at the time. Once I got off my phone the bartender started asking me personal questions about my telephone call. After serving my friend and I, she told me about her family's personal problems and felt like I was relatable, and asked me to leave. She stated this is my bar and I don't like your hair. After serving me two drinks she told me to go to rehab, she stated this is my bar and I'll do what I want. She told me that I was lying and above the loud crappy music told me her manager was listening to our conversation and again kicked me out before telling me she could get me a recording of the bar noise, ( mind you, we cashed out when that happened. ) She stared at us for ten minutes still listening to us, we were discussing work and she chimed in every two seconds, apparently she's a professional in everything. Probably why she was working a bar at 33 yo with no customers in it. I know her age because I got her life story. Super aggressive, sensitive and really bitchy. Avoid this place. read more

Never coming back! The bartender, who was obviously forced to wait tables, was extremely rude! Stood over us while we were trying to decide what we wanted to order. Knew absolutely nothing about the menu. Didn't refill our drinks. Never came back to check on us after food was delivered. Had to flag him down to get our bill. When we asked for a receipt, he laughed and said "Good luck with that." He told us that the visa receipt, that was not itemized, was good enough, This is not the first time this has happened in this store, with this bartender. It's a shame that you have lost our business, because the food is actually very good, and we were eating lunch here 2-3 times a month! read more

This bar seems like a great location to come with a group of people because of the pool tables, arcade games, bar top gambling, and overall clean, friendly, and entertaining atmosphere. I didn't catch the bartenders name but he was very nice and engaged with all the customers. I accidentally came after 2 a.m. only to find out that the kitchen closes at 2 a.m., so I was unable to get food this time, but I will definitely be back to try it.
