We come here quite often, first time we were disappointed. Greeted and sat right away. The ceviche was delicious as always. Ribs were decent but my potato chips were very stale. My wife wanted a side of ranch for her pizza (that was very good) but our server did not come back to check on us till we were finished with our meal. I told him about the stale chips and all he said they could be better. Shame, as this place is usually better than that. read more

We've been here a number of times and it's consistently inconsistent. The food is "ok" if you order the right things but can be terrible if you order the wrong things. Here's our list so far: ~Burger: good. Nothing special but totally decent and fries are solid. ~Chicken sandwich: bad. Dry chicken, too much bread, no flavor or moistness to sandwich. ~pizza: decent. Nothing special due to crust being so-so but some of the pizza combos are good. Crust is VERY inconsistent on crispiness which is constantly annoying. ~Ribs: bad. Don't bother. Sauce is nice but meat is super dry and tough to eat. ~Salmon: good. Moist, flavorful and risotto on side is solid. Service is so-so. Some of their servers are super arrogant while others are calm and helpful. Ambiance is also so-so. Bright and open if you sit near windows. Dark if sitting near kitchen. I do appreciate that the music isn't too loud so you can hear people at your table - that's a HUGE plus because so many places drown you in noise these days and this place is just the right level of music. It's basically "fine" if you order well but this is usually our last choice answer we go if others suggest it. read more

I went here for lunch and my goodness it was amazing! They have an awesome lunch special of 1/2 pizza & 1/2 salad. You can pick any pizza and any salad. The food was amazing! I had the Kale salad which the dressing sweetened the kale to not be too bitter. I also ate the meat pie which was crisped perfect. There are so many things I want to try still. Checking back in....things are back to normal, A/C pumping and Good times with Brett and Naomi. Quick follow-up on my last note...all negativity could have been avoided had the other manager simply came to the regulars and stated there was an issue with the A/C but instead she remained silent and seated at a booth on her laptop with no interaction with customers, unlike other managers we've experienced over the years. This caused us to leave and head to a new spot for us, Vintage14. We are back because we like it here but owners take note....bad leaders = regulars questioning it. read more

First time at this named restaurant although I have been to the location before under prior owners/operators, and it was delicious. The 1/2 pizza-1\2 salad combo is a great lunch special. I came here with my husband and young children and we were all very happy with our meals. The kids pizzas were big for a kids meal. There are limited pizza options on the menu but you can also make your own. We had the meat me and the paradise pie. They were delicious and hit the spot. The crust was perfect and thin. Recently met up with friends for dinner at PV Pie and Wine. Hadn't been in since it opened in the area. But had frequented their previous concept. So was anxious to see what had changed for better or worse. First of all, the food, we had the following: Summer Stawberry Salad w/Chicken and w/o Goat cheese. 3/5 - for the price, thought it was skimpy in size for $21. The Chicken was in small shreds, and although the flavor was good it was pretty dried out and again probably 3 oz of it max. ($7 add on to $14 salad). Go Green Pizza - 4/5 What the salad lacked in volume was more than made up for in the size pizza. For $16 this could have easily fed 2 people. And it did! My two friends ordered two pizzas not knowing how large they were, so ate one and took the other home for lunch the next day. They have a pretty decent wine selection. Some interesting cocktails on the menu. Looks like they have some good happy hour offerings and Monday/Tuesday combo specials. Would probably only return when these offerings were available for better value. Service was good and waiter was knowledgeable about the food menu and the wines as well. My husband and I went here for a late Saturday lunch. It was an impromptu visit but I ended up feeling like we were on a date. I liked the interior, very nicely designed and comfortable. This would be a great place if you have a larger group as the middle tables allow for a bigger party. I was there on a endless bubbles day, yeah! Had a great girls night out here and I see more in my future. A friend and I came on a Monday where they have a great special - for $35 you get a pizza and a bottle of wine. We got the Go Green pie which was loaded with vegetables. Heirloom tomato, artichoke, spinach, pesto, caramelized onion and cheese of course. It's served with a side of ranch, but it's not needed. The crust is thin....you could really call it a flatbread if you want. So much flavor that we dove in and barely drank our wine. Tried this place for the first time on a Friday and loved it! It's really cool looking inside, just a cool contemporary vibe, perfect for happy hour or business meeting. This was my first time there since it changed from the Covenant. I ordered the Vegan Beet salad and I really liked it. It was artfully arranged, fresh and tasty. I liked the two kinds of sliced beets, supremes and the crushed pistachio nuts. Several people in my group ordered the meatballs and they all enjoyed the dish. I think my favorite addition since the changeover was the addition of a patio. Given our climate and Covid restrictions, patios are a must. I only patron restaurants that have outdoor patio seating. The one thing that I wish they would have changed is the huge wall graffiti like mural inside that overwhelms the space and lends doesn't fit the current aesthetic. I've been coming to this area a lot and I've always said that I wanted to try this place out so today we did. The outside looks cool and inviting. I've never seen an entrance door looks so big and cool. As soon as we walked in the greeted us cordially and sat us down right away. The inside looks very nice and plenty of seating. Happy hour every day which is nice. I ordered the bottomless mimosas and my boy ordered a sangria. Can't go wrong with mimosas and the sangria tasted great. We had the half salad and pizza special. The wedge was the perfect size and good flavor. The dressing was a roasted red pepper ranch and was tasty. I got the meat me piazza and it was tasty as well. I like all crust and this was a thin crust. It was light and the sauce was perfect. I'd go back to try other dishes and more happy hour. This is a much-loved PV place with one of my former coworkers who lives nearby. I never had noticed it before but have been around in the area plenty of times.... Which is weird because they have a massively tall and bright yellow door that greets you at the entrance just off the street corner. There is plenty of parking that wraps around the building, and also behind with the connecting Trader Joe's. Once you complete the workout of opening the door, you're greeted with really cute modern decor and a beautiful glass wine closet. They have a really good happy hour menu- lots of food and bev options for all (beer, wine AND liquor). $5 beer, $7 wine and cocktails, and $7 food specials. Our group had a variety of bites and drinks- meatballs, garlic knots, caprese and a couple of pizzas (the Meat Me & My Margherita). My first drink was The Fiftyone which is a newer drink, I didn't see it on their online menu. SUPER refreshing. Another coworker and I ordered an aperol spritz after and it was ok... youre best off ordering a house cocktail. The bread was a life saver for the delish cocktails. Our only concern was how warm it was inside during summer... like there was very little air flow. The bathroom was worse. We brought it up to our kind server but didn't feel like anything was done to combat it. Thankfully we were able to get out of there before it got much warmer on the inside. read more
