Definitely going to revisit when I have layovers in Nashville. This was a legit gyro sandwich! Cut off of a real deal "loaf" spinning on a rotisserie. The only blemish is that the business is so brisk that it doesn't develop that neglected crusty patina every few slices. Great flavors, great Tzatziki sauce, great tomatoes & lettuce on a warmed up pita. This brought back some serious college memories. The fries were pretty spot on as well. The only down side is that they are seriously slow. Don't run thru this confusing double line if you are in a hurry. But if you have time for a classic, this is your spot. read more

We were so happy to find a fresh and healthy and reasonably priced option at the Nashville airport. We were flying home to Florida from Maine and our connecting flight was delayed then rerouted to Nashville. We were tired and hungry. The staff at this airport café could not be nicer. So very friendly. My husband had the Gyro platter and I had the grilled chicken platter and everything was fresh and cooked right in front of us. It was also not outrageously priced as much airport food tends to be. I understand they have another location in Nashville. Highly recommend this restaurant. I visited Pyramid Café at BNA on 6/19/2025 and ordered a Gyro Sandwich combo with a Greek salad and a side of rice. Upon reviewing my itemized receipt, I noticed I was charged appropriately $10.95 for the sandwich, $5.89 for the combo (salad and drink), and an additional $3.99 for the rice. However, what was actually served was a gyro meat platter -- which is typically a lower-cost menu item with smaller portions -- not the full sandwich combo I paid for. When I asked the server, he insisted my receipt reflects the platter, not the combo I was charged. In a rush to make my flight, I was unable to escalate. More concerning, I observed multiple customers in line receiving similar substitutions while being charged for the higher-priced selection. This appears to be a consistent practice of overcharging customers for less food than advertised. This is a deceptive practice that should be addressed immediately. Customers deserve transparency and to receive exactly what they pay for. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and corrects these issues. read more

Located across from Ole Red near gates C13/14, Pyramid Cafe came in clutch for a quick breakfast sandwich. In general they serve Mediterranean dishes such as pitas, shawarma, hummus, etc...but during the morning hours you can also get a variety of biscuits and croissants, and breakfast platters. I had the sausage biscuit and while it was nothing too special, the biscuit was quite large and fluffy and the sausage patty was good size as well. Service was very friendly and fast. Best airport food I've ever had! I got the chicken Greek platter and it came with a huge salad. Chicken was grilled right in front of me with onions and peppers. So fresh! The line was long but totally worth the wait. You wait in one line to put your order in and pay and then you get in another line to give the cook your order and then he makes it. Make sure you have enough time to eat here. My fiancé's gyro was delicious. He got the gyro platter and it came with rice and salad. The gyro meat was outstanding. I was not excited about typical bar-variety-fare I find in most airport restaurants, and I had to make a quick decision before a long flight. I ordered only a gyro sandwich which was DELICIOUS!! I find some are too dry or not flavorful. They grill/heated the gyro meat when ordered. The pita was soft, chewy and warm. SO GOOD and fulfilling. Both the cashier and young man who prepared my gyro were very pleasant. A+ for service. From the line I saw the Greek salad which looked fresh and watched as the cook made the grilled chicken/veggies for the Philly Chicken. That guy, by the way, is an artist. So fun watching him cook; he can really move. All look really good. Prices are good compared to other airport food too. If they keep up this quality and service you will not be disappointed. SAVE YOUR MONEY! Chicken was dry, fries were cold. Cooks would touch raw meat then make plates with dirty gloves. The cooks would jump from one station to another causing confusion and frustration amongst themselves which contributed to the poor customer service. Best (fast-er food) breakfast option I found in Nashville's airport, especially if you've got a bit of time between flights and are tired of the same old, same old airport/breakfast foods. Looking for something to eat while waiting for a flight so I asked a guy that had his BNA id on if he knew of anything good around there and he told me that pyramids in Nashville International Airport had the best gyros hands-down compared to anywhere in Nashville! Well, I definitely needed to check that out so I went. Oh my goodness let me tell you he was not lying! I got a Gyro and it was so delicious. All I could think of was getting another on my return flight the next morning (*oh and by the way, they open at 5 AM.) this time I got the platter and again did not disappoint. I wish I could take them home with me but I live like an hour and a half away so it looks like I've got to get my fix every time I fly out of BNA the people there were so accommodating when they put together my Gyro it's set up like a subway. Two stars maybe too many. Lamb gyro was just okay. No cucumbers, onions or tomatoes and tzatziki was runny. Lamb was good and so was the pita. Greek salad was awful. 85% cucumbers that was mostly not ripe two pieces of tomato, four little pieces of red onion and barely any feta. Ice tea was good. Service was friendly but given the remodeling, one of the few choices. Meaning about a 20 minute wait in a second line after you pay. Next time, I will try one of the sit down bars.
