No servers, order at the counter on one end and listen for your name at the other. I popped by on the way out recently, mainly due to the fact that they have grilled tenders! I got three grilled tenders, slaw and a pack of their chicken skins for a little less than $20. At my initial pickup, they had fried tenders and once I let them know it was grilled, they apologized and within a few minutes, I had my correct order. Given the type of service I got at ordering, I wasn't surprised the wrong variety of tender was put in. Hattie B's is at the Nasvhile airport! It's kind of a mess though as the line is always pretty long and then you have to wait for your food. It can be super hard to find a seat to sit at. There is a bar area here too. I got 2 sandwiches for $14.30 each so $28.60 total. I got one Hot and one Damn Hot. The hot one is fine and I think just about anyone can eat. The Damn Hot is actually damn hot. I decided to not eat all of it as it does make your mouth burn. Plus, I didn't have time to order a bunch of waters before my flight. This was my first time trying their mac n cheese and I liked it a lot. The $8.25 Bearded Iris Beer was really good too. As I've stated in a separate Hattie B's review - there's a reason both tourists (like me) and locals alike flock to eat the delicious and spicy hot chicken specialties being served up at Hattie B's. Through the years that I've been enjoying these fresh, crispy, and spicy chicken during my nashville visits, I know that I can always count on high quality food and great service consistently - regardless of whatever location you are visiting or how busy or what time of day it is. I'd say this certainly rings true if you're passing through Terminal C at the Nashville airport and want to get a hot chicken fix and are unable to venture into the city. As with every Hattie B's location you can expect a line and a crowd but it moves quickly (and there's plenty of seating which is a plus). On this recent visit I went with my usual of a 3 tenders combo....being an airport location it is a bit pricier than the city locations (and your combo only comes with one side not TWO but what can you expect from an airport spot). The food was good, but please beware that the mild is really spicy. They give a good portion of chicken which is very juicy but short on the fries portion. Also, they only provide one ranch for the large portion and charge .55 for extra. The space is small, so you have to fight for a seat or take it back to your terminal. I haven't had Hattie B's in years! But I remember how much I loved this chicken place when I was in the Nashville area. Luckily I found this after my flight, right before leaving the terminal for baggage claim and the airport exit. There aren't any food options in the baggage claim area and once you leave the terminal, you can't turn around. There was a pretty long line but it went by fast. I ordered the Fried Hot Chicken sandwich with a side of coleslaw, honey mustard sauce, and a bottled water. For everything it was over $17. Wait time wasn't so bad. For the large amount of people they were serving, they were quick. So I forgot that it already came with a smaller side of coleslaw, so I had two coleslaws lol. But I love their coleslaw. The veggies tasted fresh and crunchy, and the dressing was nice and light. I obliterated both of my coleslaw containers because it was so tasty. For the sandwich, it was great. I love pickles, so I love how they gave me a good amount. The chicken piece they gave was huge! (I took a picture to show how large the chicken was after two bites because I was hungry and the thought occurred to me then). The chicken was juicy, had a great golden crispy outside, and it was seasoned good. Flavor was just outstanding. And the sauce they spread inside the sandwich just tied everything together. My sandwich was so delicious, that I forgot about my honey mustard sauce in the bag. It was just that good. And I was just so hungry too lol. All in all, I'm so happy to run into Hattie B's at the airport. This place is a great option. It was a little pricy (especially the bottled water), but that's to be expected about airport food. The cheese tasted fabricated and the macaroni was way mushier than macaroni noodles should be. I think they should keep trying, however because I did not eat the mac and cheese and I was too far away from the location inside the airport to return, I decided just to toss it and eat nothing. You can get chicken sandwiches, tenders, wings, and traditional bone in options as well! There are a variety of heat levels, including no spice option! There are also additional sides you can get such as their crinkle cut fries, mac n cheese, and even coleslaw! This location does offer a special breakfast menu that is available until 10:00 A.M! I ended up getting the chicken tenders with a slice of bread on the bottom. There was plenty of pickles topped on it too! The Mac N Cheese was a pimento mac n cheese. I also noticed a cool merch wall by the registers, so grab a couple of things before you head to your gate! Maybe it was the day, but the cashier didn't seem very welcoming. She was, luckily, backed by an incredible team who exuded excellent customer service and hospitality. Also seating is limited at this location with a few bar seats and maybe 4-5 tables. For sides, Hattie B's offers Mac & Cheese (pimento style), Potato Salad (with bacon bits), or Fries. From there, you'll select your spice level ranging from Southern (no heat) to Shut the Cluck Up (the spiciest). I opted for the Sandwich with a Medium spice level. Date of visit: March 19, 2025 I was shocked that there there is such a thing as a four-star restaurant in an airport! Stopped at this airport location of Hattie B's on a layover......it feels necessary to have some Nashville Inspired food while in Nashville! This location is our course in the Nashville Airport. I'm not really a "hot chicken" person, but I appreciated that Hattie B's had options for those of us that prefer milder options. I ordered the chicken sandwich w/ crinkle cut fries. Overall, this was a decent airport meal, but if I am being honest it was nothing special......but- to be fair many airport meals are less than desirable, so I give Hattie B's credit for managing a decent chicken sandwich in a airport environment. Finally tried Hattie B hot chicken and it was definitely worth it. The chicken was cooked perfectly for a chicken sandwich. Fried with mild spice was perfect. Had a nice kick but not too spicy. The chicken was thinly sliced so it's not a huge chicken sandwich which is dry. The chicken was moist. The comeback sauce was delicious pairing for the sandwich and the fries.
