I had the Sun and Shade pizza as is and oh myyyy, it was so good! The oil they drizzle on at the end is the perfect touch. If you want to make your own there are plenty of toppings to choose from. The crust is paper thin and crispy so beware if you like thick crust. I'm one of those people who throws away crust on pizza so this was perfect for me. This was my first time in and I was pretty impressed. Now, first of all, if you are wanting a thick crust pizza then just go away. Went with my friends for pizza the other night and one person got a pretty sparse looking pizza with thin crust and the other got a gluten free/ vegan pizza with the vegan cheese on it and lots of veggies. The vegan pizza was actually really good and it is something I would order again. They also have beer available at the small separate bar area with, I believe, 6 beers on tap, four of which were local beers. The guy working the bar area gave me a taste of one of them but it was too hoppy for me so I ended up with a shandy. My reason for 4 and not 5? Dirty bathroom area. You can't even tell the difference! I've had other pizzas with this crust and I typically can taste the difference. As far as toppings I went all veggie. I'm a veggie lover! I had the pesto sAuce as the base with garlic, spinach mushroom, sun dried tomatoes , olives, red onion and spinach. For a drizzle option I went with olive oil! This was reallY really good! Good, quick and reasonably priced!!! Can you tell I like this place? For me, this place reminds me of Subway but for pizza. It really is that simple to order. The pizzas are a decent size so you can have one to yourself if you have a big appetite or eat a little and take some home. I like the variety of ingredients they offer for the pizzas and salads. They also offer a good variety of sauces to use as a base and cheeses. There is beer on tap and wine for those that want to sip on something other than pop or water. At least, I think there is wine. The reason for only 4 stars is because this place tends to be a bit on the messy side. I've been here 3 times so far and each time we had a hard time finding a place to sit because most of the empty tables were dirty. There was also trash on the floors near the bathrooms. This is a very good choice for groups where everyone likes something different. I brought out of town family here, as one was vegetarian and it worked out great. They were so excited by the unlimited toppings and I have to admit I think they went a bit overboard. My only problem is that the three times I have been here, our food never comes out together despite being ordered at the same time. Inevitably, one person, in the effort to be polite, sits with food in front of them waiting the 5 to 10 mins for the other food to show up. I can tell they are working out issues each time we have been there. Things are improving, but each time there seems to be a flow problem I hope they figure out, because the food and the concept are good. Timing is the main issue I see (example, my pizza was the first out and was burnt around the edges... this makes no sense to me). 5-stars, for sure. I asked for gluten-free, they complied and asked if it was for an allergy. Upon my "yes", she yelled "glove change!" down the line, and not a single person acted like that was odd. When you have food allergies, that is a five-star experience on its own (trust me). The restaurant is modern, the line is easy to understand. This was our first time experiencing a place like Pyro's, so it's impressive that they managed to make it flow well with how busy it got. Our food came fast, the only real stop-up was the Coke machine; people, please move out of the way! Not the restaurants fault, it's sort of a narrow restaurant. Little things: hand washing station as you enter/leave; that is fantastic. Buzzers that prompt the runner to bring the food to YOU, not the other way around. I went here on a recommendation. But, I walked in not quite knowing how it worked or what to expect. So I was surprised to walk in when they opened and see 3 employees completely non responsive to my confused wandering. I did figure out after about 20 seconds that it was assembly line style and got to it. The woman making our pizzas may have been the only employee actually awake. She was chipper and responsive. The rest meandered around like zombies. One was eating a donut on the floor while working. Nobody really acknowledged us except the one making our food. So, I'm glad I went exploring and found to get parm and red pepper flakes I had to visit a shelf by the pop station. The pizza was pretty great though. I ordered the raging hawaiian because I'm all about fruit and spicy on my pizza. The wait time for it to cook in the fire oven was minimal. The crust is thin and crispy. The sauce was good and spicy. Overall, tasty pizza and reasonably priced. **Random observation: they have super fancy bathroom fixtures and hand washing stations but no actual soap in the bathroom so you have to grab the handle with your "bathroom hands" like every person before you and wash them in the fancy hall thing.
