Super Tasting Pizza and Super Staff My wife had been to this Pyros before, so she took me. As she explained it, you get to customize your pizza: from sauce to toppings to cheese - and they're all great ingredients. The line moves fairly fast, so it's not too bad. She also liked this option because she got her choice of toppings - and did not have to deal with my choices; we like different toppings, is what it is. Each staff person we dealt with was pleasant and added to our visit being a good one. Oh, and when I "checked in" on Yelp on our Tuesday visit, they threw in a 24oz drink for free. Nice. Anyway, I got a pizza with a sampling of all the meats, onions and roasted garlic. I was pleased when I could even identify the BBQ separately. Now it's a thin crust pizza and it is cooked in a fire oven as advertised. This made the thin crust nice and crispy, but not too brittle. As I was about to leave, I had boxed up one last piece of pizza to take home and went to refill my drink. I was disappointed when I went back to my table to see that they had cleaned off the table - including my take home box. I asked if it I could get it. You guessed it. Too late. Oh well. Now what "made" the visit for me was this. He quickly offered to make me a new pizza. Wow! I wasn't expecting that - and I told him so. Since it was only 1 slice of pizza, I asked that they make it only a Snack Pizza, not a full Entree size. When the manager brought me my pizza, I made sure he knew what an impression that made, and that I will definitely be coming back. Nice crispy crust and the toppings seem quality - particularly the bacon (most pizza joints use tasteless bacon, but here it's smoky and tastes like real Bacon!). They make the pizza in front of you, like the "Chipotle " of pizza. You pick the toppings and how much you want, so if you don't like it, it's your own fault! Ordered 2 different pizzas and both were really good. They're personal size (if you're fat like me) and light, so I don't get the typical "pizza bloat" after eating here. Tried one of their entree salads for the 1st time and pleasantly surprised at how good it was. I will likely come back for lunch just for the salads. Not sure why these guys fell off my radar, but I'm putting them back in my regular rotation. Great place. Oh yeah, they have the coolest hand washing sink of all time. The wife and I came here because we needed something close to eat. Much like my review for ridgeway, I'd much rather sit at the table and order a pizza. I would prefer a card that listed ingredients and you could "build" a pizza by filling out the card. The one and only freestyle machine causes gridlock if several people are wanting drinks at once. Drinks should be table served anyway. The inability to buy beer on the same purchase is absurd and inconvenient. This is not the best dough in town. The only option is super thin. The pizza I'd say is average, but I can get better pizza, at a better quality, for a better price. The only difference here is that it's a flat rate. At $23 for two people, I'd say it's about $5 too expensive. I loved the hand washer. That looks like something that would be good in a hospital. read more

Ok so I've always had great experiences with this restaurant. Just read my last review. However what happened tonight was unacceptable. We walked in to get an early dinner before heading to the Grizzlies game. It was 5:20 pm. There was a little line but I wasn't too worried because I've been in and out with a line twice that size. But that wasn't the case tonight. We were moving at a snails pace and we finally realized what the problem was. There was no dough made. During the day they have the dough ready...about a stack of 20. Tonight they were having to make each one. My boyfriend and I both ordered the menu pizzas instead of the create your own option. We told them that but they acted like they had no clue what went on them. Then I went to get my drink and they were out of sweet tea. Not a major problem but there was a group of people gathered around waiting. It's currently 5:42 and we still don't have our pizza. I'm sure that it'll be great (when it comes) and I'm sure we will be back. At lunch time this place runs like a well oiled machine. But the dinner crew is under prepared and obviously doesn't understand the concept of stocking during downtime to accommodate a dinner rush. I'm very particular about my pizza and this place does not disappoint. I love the brick oven style and the care they put into each and every pizza. Their pesto and tomato sauce both have very unique flavors and I like how everything is made just for you. This location is very modern and well kept.
