Ryan has been wanting us to give him a review,(although we weren't ready as he's been leaving us…read morehanging!) so here it goes... ...we had hired Ryan to redo both our 30 year old fence and deck back in February of 2022, and it's now JULY! with a few issues that I need to put out there for people to know exactly what he's doing to his customers and clients. I'm feeling he's being selective to people and the quality of work he wants to leave behind. This is an unacceptable (and mind blowing!) way to run a business! While it was exciting to see the new fence done, there were many issues I noticed that made me think his workers (who he BARELY supervised!) couldn't care less about paying attention to details, taking pride in their work or doing their best to help Ryan's company thrive: nails sticking out of boards, price tag stickers still on the boards, uneven placement of the boards, boards unaligned, rough and scuffed boards facing in rather than out (like I asked him to do twice!) I also need to mention that his workers should have paid a little more attention to detail considering how much we were paying for this. (Also, picking up their lunch/food trash off the side of the hill, guess I'LL DO IT!?!) When they started framing the deck, it took them some time to figure out the frame as we do have an odd shaped backyard and we also wanted to extend the deck towards the RV parking that we have. There were some small issues but it was eventually (the framing) completed. Although Ryan could have been here to supervise his workers and tell them EXACTLY what to do, they just did what they thought was needed and not what we told Ryan, so some extra work was done that didn't needed to be. While we agreed to have the TREX composite decking installed, he told us that it was hard to find the material. After constant inquiries to getting an update on the materials with constant delays and ignoring our calls in getting the materials (and seeing them at both the local Home Depot and Lowes!) he left the unfinished deck there for 3 WEEKS! 3 WEEKS. Once he DID have the material, he started to use the color board that we didn't agree on (a darker composite) and he didn't remember the 3 of us deciding on the color we wanted. So yet another delay in getting this completed. Some times his crew showed up to work on OUR home while some didn't show up at all without any communication to us. Really?! Once the deck was done, multiple issues were noticed: 3 areas that weren't aligned or straight, staples being seen (that were not removed), lack of common sense. Meaning: installing the board and pinching the drip system lines to where they don't work. Even after I specified TO RYAN that this needed to be done properly in order to work. And while the frame was open, I went ahead and installed the landscape wires throughout the frame in order to work. They worked fine when tested pre-install, now they don't due to them possibly damaging/or disconnecting the installed wires. I'm now having to redo the wires AGAIN! BOTTOM LINE: R/C Fences do lousy work, Ryan tends to make excuses after excuses and does not communicate to inquiries for updates, his crew have NO pride in their finished work, couldn't care less about other people's property, and please check out the pictures of what I'm referring to. When he FINALLY agreed to complete the 4 issues we wanted him to correct, he came on his own time and plenty of excuses to boot and not the time was asked him to arrive so he didn't infringe on our personal time. Even today (7/15/22) he's STILL did not complete his end of what we agreed and paid for with what's left to finish and we will have to pay someone else to correct his mistakes. The last time he came (07/10/22) to complete what was left to do (after he whined about this review I posted!) the "KING OF EXCUSES! had a blown tire after going to Home Depot for 2 hours with NO COMMUNICATION to us whatsoever to tell us what was going on. For the amount of money we spent and the hassle and inconvenience he brought into our life and this particular project: this was a HUGE MISTAKE hiring him. We learned a hard lesson and we are making sure no one has to endure this they way we did. Please hire someone more professional, I would hate to have someone else experience the unprofessionalism we had to endure with this guy! Not trying be mean, but I believe in quality craftsmanship for the money we spent. This wasn't that at all.

I also had them redo the landscaping in the front and backyard to a drought tolerant garden, and some artificial grass put in the backyard. Everything looks amazing and was a great price. I texted him, and the following day called him and left a message, he never called me back. Very poor professionalism on his part. I would definitely not recommend him. I feel like I have been robbed what I paid him back in June. Edit: He finally stopped by, and solved the problem, definitely made us feel he was annoyed to come back.

I recently had a large section of an almost 10 year old block retaining wall on my property that…read morewas failing. I opened a request for quotes here on Yelp and not only was Erick the first to respond but he was also the first to come take a look at the project to give me a quote. I received quotes from several companies and Erick came in with an exceptionally good value for the level and amount of work that needed to be done. The scope of work involved the following: - Removal and disassembly of the existing wall - Digging down below for a new base - Adding a concrete base complete with piers and rebar for reinforcement - Dig back the hill behind the wall and remove excess dirt - Install a new French drain and repair any other drainage issues - Raise gravel up to the height of the wall to allow for better drainage - install a new vapor and weed barrier behind the wall - Add an additional row of blocks to raise the height of the wall - Repair of gate and fence post that was damaged by the old wall failing I've attached pictures for just how much work was done with before and after. First and foremost, Erick is very obviously a perfectionist and his attention to detail was a wonderful breath of fresh air. Both Erick and his team have an exceptional work ethic. In a period of 4 days (3 of which were rain days) he completed all of the work and went above and beyond to make sure everything looked and worked correctly. If you have a project that involves a retaining wall, a fence, landscaping or building of an outdoor structure, I would highly recommend Erick to you. I decided to hold off now, but hired Erick to wash and stain my fence. They were quite meticulous with their work. Despite trying their best to cover everything, stain did get where it wasn't wanted, but I can't fault them too much. But Erick made it a point to call out his mistakes and cleaned up what he could. I liked the job he did and actually had him come back a few days later to replace a couple of broken bricks in my outdoor fireplace. I'd hire him again for any job I needed outside, and may eventually get him to replace the fence.

I hate to write a negative review but this company was not professional…read more When I walked in to get a quote and purchase black mulch and bender boards for my front yard project I noticed not everyone was wearing their mask. The young woman I spoke to at the counter was wearing her mask however and the most professional and approachable. I scheduled my delivery on a specific day at a specific time because I work the night shift in a hospital. After reviewing my cameras I saw, when the deliverer arrived he was not wearing his mask when he knocked on my door. The delivery came while I was sleeping at 9 AM instead of 3PM when I scheduled the delivery and the deliverer did not wait longer than approximately 2 minutes before he started dumping the HUGE amount of mulch on my driveway. I called and luckily spoke to the same woman who I purchased from but sadly was not able to come to a conclusion to fix this issue that now I myself had to deal with since it was blocking my whole garage. I couldn't drive any of my cars to work since my landscaper wasn't coming until the next morning. What the picture I've attached doesn't show is the huge area in the middle of my front yard that was big enough to store the 4 yards of mulch. The woman I spoke to was professional enough to apologize but initially only offered discount on a future purchase. Because I needed base rock for the future I originally took her up on that offer but thought about it and didn't want to deal with an issue like this again. It seemed like such a hassle just to ask for some type of compensation for the inconvenience that was caused. In short, yes I was happy with the mulch I chose and I believe at the time offered the most affordable within my area that I researched BUT it would be awhile for me to want to work with this business again because of the huge trouble that was caused.

They were timely and responsive, constantly giving us updates on what work they would be doing and when they would be at our house. Alex went beyond our expectations to do more work than we had even agreed upon to make sure that the job was completed to his expectations (which were beyond ours). They installed high quality turf, installed a rock/ fire pit area, and re-grouted our patio as part of the warranty from years before. They did a complete job. The team was very professional and friendly. They cleaned the mess upon completion of the work.
