I called to see if there was any availability on 1/28/22 and was told to go ahead and come in. Lisa started my full set ( I don't know about anyone else but I don't like Multiple people working on my services) Once Lisa put on the nails, and shaped them, another customer came in and Lisa left me to work on her. The lady that came to finish my full set had some of my nails slanted and i had and I had To ask her to file multiple nails multiple times. On top of that she asked me if I had cash in the middle of my service because they forgot to mention that the card machine was down when I called. The lady made my nails really thick and they aren't consistent( see photos below). She left acrylic under my nail and I didn't want them fixed by the same shop let alone the same Person. I just FINALLY had to post a review..:. I have been going to Lisa's since 2013 and when sending the link to someone early this morning who asked who did my nails so nice last week I started to scroll through the reviews and I'm sorry but I'm calling BS with the bad/fake reviews!!! Lisa's is my go to spot. Everybody is great (even though I do have my favorite people just based on knowing them for almost 8 years ) I have never experienced anyone working there do a bad job or me leaving unsatisfied! I moved to Sacramento 2 years ago and I still take that 107 mile drive (and that's exact mileage per my gps) to go there. Perfect pedicures every time and even if Lisa is not there a day that I can get time to drive down and I go to Brian my nails are ALWAYS perfect!!! My daughter got her first mani/pedi there at 3 years old who is almost 11 and she refuses to go anywhere else if she's not with me when I drive down. Can't wait to bring my youngest with me who is now 3 this weekend for the first time for our nail day!!! Don't believe the bad reviews it's BS. Very creative with designs and perfect technique. Any color, charm, powder, nail shape or what every you can think of is available. And if you're unsure Lisa will freestyle and it's usually better than what you think you wanted at first! Came back to this spot after years and it looks a lot busier than I remember. The male nail tech is awesome, very friendly and gentle on the hands. Also, he has this dry humor that's hilarious. His personality reminds me of someone from the show - The Office. Received 3 services in total: Acrylic nail removal - Soak-off was fine, it took 15/20mins longer but I prefer it vs the traditional way. Gel Manicure - I didn't catch her name but she looked very young with a ponytail. Super nice and she excelled in nail shape. Gel Pedicure - it was ok... So I've been going to this place for awhile, and today they just did me completely dirty. Every time I go here, a guy does my nails. And I'm surprised he can do a better job at it than this girl who did my nails could. I went to get a Full Set/ Gel. The first picture with the pink polish was the first time I got it done. I went back maybe 10-15 mins later and told them that I was not happy with the way they looked. So the same girl redid them, and the second picture with the yellow polish was the aftermath. I told them POLITELY that I just wanted to remove these and I wanted my money back. They refused. And said they'd fix it. Keep in mind, I WAS ON A TIME LIMIT. I didn't have time to have the girl who did my nails remove the polish and reshape them to make them look even more shitty than they already are. Not to mention, as she was removing the polish the first time with the mechanical file, she cut my thumb. Honestly, the past few times I went here, I started loving this place. Horrible service; always rushing the service and adding more charges. Got gel on my nails from Lisa and the nails were already lifting when I left the salon. She owns the salon but does the worst job!! Lisa didn't even cut my nails before applying the nail extensions so I had to remove them after 2 weeks! This is not my regular go to nail shop. But because I've been working remotely and haven't been to the office in S.F. in a few months due to the pandemic, I have had to find a place to go to closer to home. I've been bouncing around from place to place, just trying to find a solid pedicure spot in the interim for when I'm not going to be in San Francisco on a regular basis. I tried this place out today, didn't even know it existed, but found it on Google maps. It was busy when I initially walked in, and I had to wait. But I will say that the staff treated me very well. I had the unfortunate circumstance of coming in while wearing a boot due to a micro injury, so that was awkward for me, but I really wanted to get a pedicure. The lady who worked on me was very careful with my healing foot. I told her exactly what not to do, and she listened. Staff was friendly and efficient, and I was good with my pedicure. I have nothing negative to say about this place from my experience other than the wait, but even that wasn't very long. read more

I was ripped off here. This place was recommended by a close friend since my shop in Fremont is closed on Monday's. Went in yesterday for brow threading. I informed the lady know that I only wanted her to clean around my brows. She did a horrible job. I left with hair that she didn't get but was obvious to see, and she had the audacity to use tweezers!! When it was time to pay, she said the service was $17.00! Due to my disbelief, I asked her the amount again, and she repeated $17! I was furious but didn't let it show. I gave her a $20 and walked out. I hope Lisa (the owner) reads this. If she was there, I would have reported this incident to her. I've been to many places for threading and this was by far the worst experience ever. I was robbed, I wouldn't be surprised if the lady pocketed the entire amount. If you're needing your brows threaded, avoid this place by all means. Go to Shiva in Fremont and ask for Aman. I walked in every one was very nice I look up and on the Surveillance camera was cobwebs all over the camera omg that was a red flag. Anyway I ask the man are they busy often he said no.... 2nd red flag. Been coming here for a while now, for a bit I stopped because I wasn't a fan of how my acrylic was done. Granted, I'm really picky - it isn't their fault. I tried again because my mom comes here every few weeks. BRIAN IS MY GO TO!!! He helped me transition out of acrylic and growing out my real nails with dip powder. He is always down to recreate whatever inspo pic I find on Pinterest and kills it every time. He is always kind, makes good conversation, and honors appointment times. i got a full set of french tips. the lady made my nails ALL different lengths and longer than i initially asked. the polish is very streaky and when i asked her to fix them she got annoyed and started being rough and my left thumb has a huge line down it ( a dent) and my other nails have lots of brown stuff and bubbles in them. she tried to charge me $90 for this. she also cut me 2 times. they look horrific. never coming here again. read more

RUDE AND NOT SO CLEAN The older woman is just too too rude for me to ever go back. Go for a pedicure today and she is obviously talking about my feet to the woman next to her who is looking over and they are chatting and laughing. She did this a couple times. also no no words used just slap the leg or tap the foot or move the toes to get me to put my foot in the position she wanted. She speaks English. She is just damn rude. I'm not a horse being shoed or something. She didn't massage my legs she did my ankles and feet while peeling off the hot wax for 2 minutes. Then she left a pool of hot liquid wax in the bag on my feet while the rest of my foot had no hot wax on it. She grabbed my atm and I was ticked cuz I didn't know that was &35 but paid and left. I told the young man who works there and was outside that he does good work but being treated like that by her and 2 other women there means I will not be back. Their cleanliness of tools is questionable as she pulled out an Altoid mints can of dremel tips to grind off my old mail polish not even polish remover. I've never seen that done but those dremel tips looked nasty. Never ever again will I go there. Rude and not so clean. read more

First and last time here. I called hours ahead to schedule an appt and asked if they take credit cards. The lady said, "yes, we take everything". I get there and a young man does my regular mani. He did not know what he was doing and I do not think he is licensed. He almost painted over my old polish and left dirt in my nails. I had to ask for both to be removed. The owner then told me he just came to the United States. An older woman did my pedi and I'm pretty sure a child could have painted it better. I then went to pay with my Discover credit card and was told they do not accept Discover or AMEX....even though when I called ahead I was told they accept everything. I'm assuming it was the owner telling me this and arguing with me with other customers. It was so embarrassing! She ended up trying to use my Discover card and it worked. I would have left $0 tip but I feel bad doing that so I only gave $5. I plan on going home and repainting my nails because it looks so bad. read more
