Before making the LONG commute to downtown LA I figured I would contact via email to get some pricing quotes for two veils that I saw on the their website. The only response I got back was to call 213-627-6160. I ended up calling this number and was transferred to a lady that told me she could not provide the information over the phone, and that I HAD to visit the store to find out the pricing. I just wanted to know if it was worth the drive over so I asked if she could give me a range of the prices. She still wouldn't provide that information, and told me I had to visit the store. What a joke, I'm not wasting over an hour to drive there to find out these veils are overpriced then have to make the long drive back home. Or perhaps that's what they intend to do, waste customer's time so they feel obligated to make a purchase at their store? This store feels very shady and unprofessional, I'll take my business elsewhere, thanks but no thanks! read more

This place seriously came through with deals. I bought the hair clip I wanted since I was planning to wear my hair down for only $10 while i saw on amazon that the decent ones started at $20. Also bought my veil for cheap! $50 for it while I saw similar ones at other locations for over $100. The woman behind the counter was friendly even though my mom was trying to haggle her lol I was so embarrassed haha but the woman was probably used to it... also bought pins for the money dance reasonably priced at $4. It really is a good deal. The only thing that I didn't like was obviously trying to find parking. I thought they'd have a lot for customers only but we had to go and find parking. read more

My MOH and I came to this store to try on a few wedding crowns and tiaras and hopefully buy the one. The second we walk in, the Hispanic woman gave us a lot of attitude even thought the store still had 20 minutes before they closed. She said that I can only try on four crowns. She said that I was not allowed to fix it once she put it on my head. She said that I wasn't allowed to take a photo of myself with the crown. I was also not allowed to fix the crown after she put it on my head because she said that I'm not allowed to touch the crown. Lastly, when she put the crown on my head, she wouldn't let her hands go... lol it was an absolutely horrible experience, my maid of honor and I were completely shocked as the crowns were $60 cheap quality crowns. We visited Mazdo's Bridal couple of times in order to find the vail my daughter had in mind to complement her wedding gown in Church. Mazdo's Bridal's customer service was not comparable to any other. They went way above expected attention to our needs and wants to find exactly what we wanted. I went here for most of my wedding accessories. I found this place first and had them hold my items all day so I can shop and see if I found something else. They were nice enough to hold them all day for me and be patient with me and my group while we asked to look at various items. I would highly recommend this place. I visited in early March and this place was not the best. The selection was limited and not the nicest and the customer service wasn't great. They weren't too friendly or helpful. The annoying part was you could only try on two veils and they don't let you even touch them. The store isn't the nicest either and a bit messy. I suggest going to Royal Accessories, you'll have much better options there and receive better service. I ran into a huge problem with my wedding dress. * which was stark white * The company I ordered my dress from never made my dress. Leaving me to find and buy a whole new dress. But prior to finding out my dress was never made I bought a stark white vail from Mazdo's Bridal. Along with every other accessory you would need for a wedding. My family and I spent upwards of 600 dollars! They didn't offer any discounts. Being that we bought so much from them I did expect them to offer a discount. This is where I should have known they're a horrible business. To my point* I asked if they could PLEASE allow me to exchange my vail for ivory instead of white. I sent an email like they asked me to do. Asking if I could just exchange the vail. It is still in the original packaging. I never opened it. I never got a response... until I went back to their store 3 days later did they send me an email responding that they would not exchange the vail. It does say in their store no refunds or exchanges but I was really hoping they would be understanding of my situation. But not only were they not understanding they were down right rude. They have some of the best quality wedding accessories. I purchased many of my wedding items here. The only reason I took away one star is because the first time I was there in Feb 2021 the lady who helped us was very rude and dismissive when I clearly showed interest in the veils. They have some really gorgeous looking hair accessories in a variety of style. Can't show you any pictures though bc nobody is allowed to take pictures inside. I thought the woman who helped me had this very no nonsense personality and I was totally fine with that. If you are someone looking for a saleswoman to gush over wedding details with you, she might not be your cup of tea. Price point is higher than some other accessory stores in Fashion District, BUT the quality is better. My jeweler buddy looked over the hair clip I chose and could said the hair clip was good quality and well-made. The deduction is due to the parking situation. It's DTLA so parking is either metered (not cheap...might be $6/hour during peak hours) or private lots. Be careful of the ones that say $3 Parking bc it's actually $3/first 10 minutes. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE!!! This comment is for future customers only These Armenian owners don't give any F**k's That's probably why their employees are the way they are. We were referred here and drove 2 hours to get here! We came for hair pieces, upon arriving to the store we were the only customers there, two ladies in the back were talking in Spanish one said "hey go help them, and the other one said, " it's 5 min before my break, I'm Taking a break soon," so the other person replied okay im going to find someone to help." In the meantime I walked around the whole store looking at a few pieces I liked and minutes passed but Nobody bothered to greet us!!! So while one lady went to the other room, one lady was over the counter doing something, so I walk next to the counter and NOTHING!!!! She can't even acknowledge me as close as I was. I was so pissed I walked out with my family. The door next door was open so I went in and the same lady from the other side earlier said to me all rude "Are you buying wholesale??? I said NO and she said "you need a wholesale license to buy here, you can't be in here." Not knowing my family owns a few businesses! I told her as a matter of fact I do have a business license but I'm not looking to buy here for that. So then she tells me to go next door and someone will help me, and I told her no one has bothered too!!!! That's why I'm here. So I go back and everyone knows I'm pissed by now and I clearly start talking about how nobody is helping me out so LAURA tells me if I need any help and I told her yes and show her pictures in my phone of what I'm looking for. Whom allowed me to choose as many head pieces to try on, they even let me bring my Starbucks drink in after having a no drink or food sign. And guess what! They have their license and policies posted! Like it should be. I ended up purchasing a few head pieces and other items Shy over $1,000 in 30 min! And was happy to do so with that kind of service. OMG This place saved my life! I was looking for a veil - 5 yards ivory with lace. I went down Santee street and went to stores who sold a 3 yard lace veil for almost $350.00!!! I decided to walk back to my car and order one since the other stores said that there was no store that makes 5 yard veil unless you ask to make one. As I walked down Maple, I saw a sign in this store that said "SAY YES TO THE VEIL" It looked like it was overpriced but I decided to go in... WELL THANK GOD I DID! The customer service representative was sooo helpful, I wish I remembered her name. I told her what I wanted: color, length, style and picture of dress.l and she brought out the perfect one! I instantly said yes to the veil and bought for a very good price!!! My veil also had a comb glued to it while the other stores said I would have to glue my veil to a comb or a crown for more. I am thankful for this store and the products. I will be going back here to purchase my jewelry as well as my garter since they have so many options. My wedding was coming up and I was looking for a crown and a vail, I came across this bridal store in downtown and got a crown from here after a week my crown broke in half. I bought it back to the store to exchange or get a refund, they told me this crown isn't from this store, I had proof! Finally after an hour for going back and forth the manager came and said ( OHHH THAT WAS A SAMPLE SALE) and we sold you a sample we don't have any more of those crowns. WELL I PAID A FULL PRICE FOR A SAMPLE SALE CROWN and they still didn't offer me an exchange or a refund. I ended up paying another $350 for another crown. Same day I bought two vials they sold me (ICE WHITE) color. I took it home and compared it to my dress, my dress was ( OFF WHITE) and I paid $450 for two. I took it back to exchange it for a off white color they didn't exchange it. I thought that was very unfair... I invested almost $1000 at this store for no reason. I already had enough stress before my wedding this store made it even worse. I'm not the one usually to write a bad review but I'm saving another bride by being honest about their unfair rip off store policy's. read more

The customer service is just horrible here. We had who I believe was to be the owner herself act in such a rude manner. She didn't want to help us and let us discuss our options. She kept rushing us. This is my best friends wedding, we aren't going to just buy something important- aka veil- and not make sure it's something she is 100% in love with. The woman began to tell us that trying on veils is limited, that we pretty much can't try on more than a few. And when asked to try on the 2nd veil just to see and make sure, she tells us no, that it is the same exact thing as the first veil we tried. That was the final straw. If you are looking for actual help I don't recommend this place for your veil choices. They clearly treat you like you know nothing and shouldn't ask questions. read more

My veil was PERFECT! Half the price of veils ($350) I was looking at ($600+)- at high end salons-quality was amazing and it was royal cathedral length which went perfect with our overall mood! So my sisters getting married and we've been here a few times before and the manager has always been helpful. However, this specific time my sister started feeling dizzy and she almost passed out in the middle of their business the manager grabbed her a chair to sit on until she felt better.(she's diabetic and her sugar dropped)We tried to give her coke to drink and they didn't let her drink because they'll get in trouble since they have a no food or drink policy. The manager went to ask the owner and he refused to let her drink. That's UNACCEPTABLE, if she felt sick they should have made an exception. What would have happened if she would have passed out and we would have to call the paramedics? read more

I needed a veil and headpiece for my wedding. Went to Mazdo's and Royal Accessories. In my experience, there are two major differences that distinguish the two leading stores; customer service and prices. Mazdo's was definitely more busy but I was still helped by a nice lady who answered all my questions. I didn't try anything on like I did at the other store but, the prices were literally 1/3 of what the other guys are charging for the exact same thing. I purchased a headpiece at Royal accessories and two veils (for front and back) at Mazdo's - I only saw the same headpiece at Mazdo's later for $90 (I paid $200.) Veils added up to $140, the same ones cost $400 at the other store. Then, I got home and realized that the two veils I got were different colors - ivory and white. I freaked out because the receipt said no returns, exchanges or exceptions. Went back the following day to see if I can exchange the more expensive veil for ivory and was able to do so at no charge. The owner and clerk were super nice; they exchanged the veil for the same one in ivory and didn't charge me anything extra. I'd like to point out that they didn't have to do that, I should have checked that the colors match - but they were understanding and kind. If you're kind to them, they will be kind to you. So if you're expecting Bloomingdale's customer service, this probably isn't the best place for you. I'd you want honest prices and friendly service, go here. Good luck, my fellow brides! read more

The people are very friendly and helpful and the selection is amazing and my daughter ended up coming home with her perfect head piece and veil. The only reason I am not giving them 5 stars is because they won't let you try on more the 3 veils and 2 head pieces. It was very limiting because my daughter felt pressured to REALLY be sure of the 2 head pieces before she tried them on. We were going to buy one of the 2, but then she saw another one that she had missed in the case that was exactly what she was looking for, but felt like she couldn't ask to see it because it would have put her over the 2 head piece limit. Did they expect her to buy it without trying it one? All sales are final so it seems like such a strange policy to me. Almost like they don't want to sell their wears? The girl helping us could tell my daughter really liked the one in the case and relented and let her try it on and that is the one we walked out of the store with. It was quite a bit more expensive than the one we were going to buy and they almost lost out on that sale if they had not let her try it on, because we would not have purchased it otherwise. I had no intention on looking for a vail, but when Jackie jumped right in and answered every question.... it was hard to turn away. I had a budget for my vail and Jackie showed me everything in my price point. She made me feel very comfortable and never once pressured me.
