I don't usually write reviews, but I was so stuck and panicked! The customer service here was seriously amazing and so sweet. Even though I bought my wedding dress somewhere else, they still wanted to make sure it fit perfectly. I only went in because my zipper was jammed and I wanted to see if they could fix it. The assistant worked her magic and fixed it right on the spot! She even had me put the dress on and smoothed out the zipper area so it'll be super easy to zip up on my big day. Bella wedding was my first stop on my wedding dress hunting. My sisters and I arrived to our appointment and was greeted with open arms from Chloe and Mrs.Yang. They gave us our space to browse the dresses and we all chose something for me to try on. The first dress I tried on was way too heavy and I felt like I looked like a loofah. I was already feeling a bit discourage and sweet little Mrs.Yang was like "hold on I got something for you" she grabbed this dress and said try it on, trust me. It wasn't the style I've imagined for myself and it looked nothing like my Pinterest board. So I tried it on and it FIT LIKE A GLOVE! Like it was made just for me! I fell in love with it right away. It is a strapless dress and so I asked if we can add straps and she said no problem at all. I had other appointments scheduled so I told her I'd give her a call. She told me since my wedding was less than 4 months away (I dragged my feet dress shopping since I was planning my entire wedding on my own..oops) she said that shipping the dress plus alterations would take up to the date of my wedding. I went to my other appointments and probably tried on over 10 dresses but NOTHING compared to the dress at Bella. Poor girl helping me at the other place she said "nothing here will capture your heart..you already found YOUR dress at your first location". I know you're not suppose to pick the first dress you've tried on but technically I chose the second dress lol. i called Chloe right away and told her I wanted to purchase the dress. Mrs.Yang said she will sell me the display dress for the fraction of the price since it fit me so well and I don't have to wait for shipping! I agreed and came back a few days later to pay in cash. The dress plus alteration cost me under $2,400! Mrs.Yang saved me over $700 from the original dress cost. So I count it as I got alterations for free! I don't like writing bad reviews but I had a bad experience with this place. I had some suits rented for a wedding with Jims Formal Wear, and I was told any authorized Jims Formal Wear dealer would do measurement for free. I told my friend to come in here for that reason, and he was given three measurements (jacket, shirt and pants size) sloppily written on a post-it note. He was only told afterwards that it would cost $20 When he returned after calling me to see if he could get the other measurements done, the lady there refused to do so and insisted that his other measurements were standard. When I asked why they charged him, she said "its my business" I cant help but feel we were ripped off and given sloppy and incomplete measurements. Also, my friend should have been notified that he would be charged beforehand. If you need measurements, go to men's wearhouse, they charge $10 and they give you a standard card with all of your measurements clearly written read more

This was the second shop I went to and I had such a better experience than the first place I went to. The first shop I went to was so unwelcoming and very rushed. My experience with wedding dress shopping is non existent but Chloe was so sweet, patient, and accommodating. She really listened to what I wanted. (She also took into account what my mom was saying.) There were so many dresses but ultimately she chose a few that she thought were what I was looking for. (I also chose a few.) Chloe was so knowledgeable and fashionable and gave me her honest opinons. I ended up falling in love with the first dress she brought me, but I had to try the other ones that she and I brought to dressing room to try which were so pretty but when you know something is the one, theres no other one for you. Chloe was not pushy at all and gave me all the time to think about the dress I wanted. I also decided that same day on my dress but she told me to sleep on it, just so that I would be sure and not rushed into picking a dress. I also got hair accessories and earrings from Bella Wedding. After the dress was picked (on the first visit) and it was time for the picking of the accessories (during the next visit), Chloe and her mom spent much time helping me choose my accessories. Chloe helped me find the dress of my dreams! I came into this shop on a BUDGET-budget, y'all. So much so that I didn't even browse the dresses available-- I just told Chloe my budget and said "show me what you have for that." I had low expectations. Dear reader, Chloe returned from the back room with not just a dress, but THE DRESS. A-line fit, sweetheart neckline, off-the-shoulder, elongated bodice for my petite torso, fairy dust on the skirt... it was like a dream. I came into the shop that afternoon with a fit-and-flare in mind, and Chloe showed me a couple, but we both knew the dress for me when we saw it. "You can wear fit-and-flare anytime," she said. "But you really only have this one occasion to dress like a princess." She was right. After I chose the dress, Mrs. Young gave me a lot of time and attention to make sure the measurements were just right. She altered the dress so it was a perfect fit for my body. This was the first wedding dress shop I went to, and from the moment I stepped in I knew this was where I wanted to buy my dress. Even though my maid of honor took me to many, many more shops afterwards, I found my dream dress here within minutes (Ruby by Maggie Sottero). One reason I knew this is where I wanted to buy my dress is because of the people who work here. The whole process is quite lengthy and intimate when you consider going back for alterations, buying accessories (for me it was just veil and shoes. Chloe even helped me pick the shoes out from Reformation). The shop is run by Chloe and her mother and they do such a great job. Chloe is the nicest person you'll ever meet - so patient, kind, NOT PUSHY, responsive, reflective and empathetic and so knowledgeable. I told her I wanted a sweetheart cut and she brought out some dresses and helped me decide on one. I can't tell you how many questions and photos I sent her, even from other stores. At one point I thought I was going to go with a different dress at a different store but that still didn't change the way she spoke to me or answered me on text. She was always very understanding, kind and supportive. In the end I chose the Ruby by Maggie sottero at their store because it looked better on me and the price was better. Chloe also helped me pick out the most beautiful veil from their selection and helped me out a little price wise when I told her my budget. Chloe makes wedding dress shopping such a beautiful, pressure free, supportive experience. As far as alterations go, their team is expert. Her mother helped me with getting the alterations just perfect because she is meticulous. Her eye catches everything, and I dropped quite a few pounds right before the wedding so they even did another round right before the wedding. It's one price that covers all alterations (I think around $550). Yes, it's expensive but it's absolutely worth every penny just knowing you can trust them to do a great job. The veil was about $180 but also worth every penny. I ordered some from the internet and they just couldn't compare quality wise with theirs. With alterations, veil, and dress I spent around $2000. Come to this shop, look at their beautiful selection, and stay for the wonderful customer service. They treat all customers with respect, they have such expertise, and they are efficient. I forgot to mention that I did my shopping very last minute (January/February for an early August wedding). That meant that the dress arrived in early July which left only a month for alterations. The team at Bella was able to get it done within two weeks, which is extremely fast, and there was no rush fee. Every part of the process was smooth, value and pricing was great, and the service was wonderful. I 100% recommend Bella Bridal in Koreatown. Mrs. Yang is incredible at her craft and will make your dress journey one of the least stressful part of wedding planning. Selection: Wide selection, but they can also order for you! They have some discounted dresses (to move inventory), including a Jenny Yoo that I seriously considered purchasing. I ended up still loving a Pronovias dress I found at another boutique most, so Mrs. Yang offered to order it for me. Pricing: Mrs. Yang was able to give me the best price for both the dress AND the alterations across the various boutiques I price compared at. Pricing was transparent and straight forward. Alterations: Mrs. Yang did SUCH an amazing job with my dress! It fit like a glove in both length and bodice pretty much at the first fitting, and she also took the back down for a VERY reasonable (additional) cost. She also hand sewed the bustle on in like 5 minutes during my final fitting. My wedding planner who helped me bustle my dress day-of said it was one of the easiest bustle she's every had to work with. Experience: Both Mrs. Yang and Chloe gave really good advice when I was debating between the different dresses. They helped me pick my accessories (no gloves, go big on the veil, go with this pair of heels instead of that pair, etc), and when I had a dress emergency a month before the wedding while on the east coast, they very efficiently connected me to their contact out here so I could get it sorted ASAP. I didn't have to worry about my dress a single time since I purchased it at Bella. Stumbled across this shop online when browsing for shops participating in National Bridal Sale week - this was my first stop and they had 2 racks of dress samples for $500 each and a rack of dress samples for $1000 each. Even though this was my first time dress-shopping, this seemed like the perfect place to find my dress given my budget and my general reluctance to trek to multiple shops. I lucked out and managed to find a dress for $500 that I (unexpectedly) really loved and bought it that day! (Note they also charge $20 for a garment bag, which is the going cost for the same bag on Amazon) The attendant struck the perfect balance of being helpful without being intrusive, allowing my friend and I to pick out the dresses I liked, helping me get fitted, and bringing the occasional dress for me to try on based on what I had already picked out, and keeping us to our appointment time in a professional way. My wedding planner told me this is the only place I needed to go, but it ended up being just one stepping stone on my wedding dress journey. I made my appointment online, but they had to reschedule me to a different time due to an error with the booking system. i was able to bring 3 people with me. they do not allow champagne or anything like that. when you come in, it's suuuuuper overwhelming because there are like 200 dresses and they just tell you to choose the ones you want to try on. i think 5 to start with. come in with an idea of what you want, but be willing to try on a couple different styles. all dresses are available to buy, some are available to rent and of course your size matters. we had a nice young woman helping me, which i preferred because the owner kind of scared me in that ajumma kind of way lol. after the 5 dresses, my friends and the associate were able to pick 2 more they thought i should try based on the feedback on the 5. as our time neared i did feel rushed, so i was thinking maybe this wasnt a good place for a first time. maybe it's best as a second or third bridal shop. in the end, there was a dress i wanted to rent. with alterations the cost would be $1500, so i decided to keep looking at other stores too. read more

On a rainy Saturday, I was invited to tag along with my friend to see if it would be the day she says yes to a dress. Chloe graciously fit us in for a return session that afternoon, and this was our last stop for the day. The moment I stepped into Bella Wedding Bridal, I was immediately drawn by the quality of their selection. Every dress was every bit of glamour, dream, and elegance. The material and make of each dress is top-tier, so much so that my eyes couldn't stop bouncing between the different racks holding different styles, cuts, and colors of bridal wear. Chloe quickly greeted us and I was immediately met with kindness and determination to help us find a dress within our budget and close to the style of a dress my friend (the bride) had tried on at her last visit to the salon. Chloe knew exactly which material and style to find, and was quick to show us different variations that each of the four gowns we had the bride try. Out of the four, there was one that we loved the bride most in, and this return visit with Chloe's expertise and charisma, the bride fell deeper in love with the dress. The best part was the effort and commitment Chloe and the salon had to ensure that the dress was close to our budget and that she would be well taken care of from that moment to the big day. We are excited that my friend said yes to the dress here at Bella Wedding Bridal, and cannot wait for the fittings when her dream dress arrives later this year. (We'll post more as the process goes!) I loved my dress that I bought here- and it was amazing because I showed the owner a few different styles I was looking at and she found a dress that combined everything I liked! I ended up buying the first dress she picked out for me. I am also not skinny at all lol but she found a variety for me try on and I didn't feel uncomfortable at all (to respond to some earlier reviews I saw regarding people feeling fat shamed-- I didn't feel that way at all!) The owner and her daughter (Chloe?) were so nice and welcoming. They also altered my veil that I purchased somewhere else. They altered my mom's and sisters' dresses as well! I ended up buying a gown at Cocomelody instead of returning to rent from here, but I had such a great experience that I wanted to leave a review anyway! My Korean GF booked me an appt. here after I'd visited many American stores and been unhappy with the choices. I'd found very few glitter, flower, lace, low back, etc. dresses at American stores. They were all so plain. This place didn't disappoint in the unique category, so I loved it! I had my appt. with Chloe who was an absolute doll! It was like she connected to my brain without ever having seen a pic of gowns I liked ... I just described my dream gown and she brought me multiples that I absolutely loved! She clearly knows her job very well! I had been looking to rent a gown because my fiancé and I are paying for our entire wedding ourselves while also trying to pay off my law school debt that's a size of a mortgage and looking to buy our first home lol. FYI, you can't rent any cheaper in LA than around $800-1000. I inquired at multiple places and that's the going rate. I'd prayed for cheaper news than that based on sisters back at home in the Midwest who rented waaaaay cheaper than that, but it's not possible in LA, not even in the valleys, I checked everywhere lol. Here, the rental cost is $1,000 + tax and that includes alterations. They have multiple Essence of Australia gowns. I only noticed after realizing all my Pinterest pins were from there once I investigated what I'd pinned more in depth haha. The gowns I have attached in my pics were all rentals at $1,000. Their rental costs include the dress, all accessories and veil and alterations! Chloe helped me with my appointment, and I was so blown away by how professional and attentive she was. She took my stylistic preferences as well as my budget into consideration and pulled similar dresses for me that ended up being my top picks from her store. The boutique is so well organized and the dresses are categorized so as not to be overwhelming. I didn't see any "bad" option dresses in this store. The whole selection is tasteful and elegant. The dressing rooms are spacious and upscale. The shop also has a large quantity and range of veils and all types of accessories, including sleeves, hairpieces, gloves and the like. Chloe has impeccable taste and helped me style all six of the dresses I tried on in different ways so I could envision my big day. She also gave very helpful and honest feedback, and I never felt rushed. She even let me go a little overtime and I was able to try on six dresses in the time we had and loop back to try the dress I liked most one more time at the end.
