I think the picture says it all. The worse manicure I ever had. As I was sitting there, I saw the girl next to me, her nails were so nice, so I told the lady that was starting to do my nails "look at her nail, please do the same". I came in with long nails and this lady chopped them, once she chopped the first one she said "shorter is nice" ‍ Ok so little shorter is fine. I sound like comedian Anjelah Johnson Pictures says it all, I don't think she is good enough to do this job yet, but she can train on her coworkers not on clients. I did get my money back with no issues. The male manager was very nice. This was recommended by my sister-in-law hmmm Everyone was very nice, I just think that the lady I got was not ready to do nails ‍

My mom has been going here for a couple years now and when I had a former student of mine practice putting gel x extensions on me and needed them removed a couple weeks later, I asked her to book me an appointment here. And I've been coming here every two weeks since. At this point, I think pretty much everyone has done my nails here (besides Ivy, because she always does my mom's nails) and they all do a great job and are very friendly. Definitely recommend to anyone in the area in search of a nice, clean place to get their nails done.

Been coming here for many years because we used to live really close by! This is the first time I've been back since they closed during the pandemic and I did miss them and their service! Jason is the best because he's so charming and has great customer service skills. All the other ladies are also very nice and talented. He recommended gel-x to me for the first time and now I'm obsessed! I only get them on the nails that break. I also had a chipped thumbnail and instead of adding a whole gel-x extension he just fixed the corner with the silk extension which I also had never heard of at the time. Get you a nail salon like this one in which the employees actually recommend to you what's best for your set instead of just trying to upsell you like other places. My black Halloweenish themed nails are beautiful and then I decided to get the matching pedicure as well!

Came here for a gel mani because my regular place was closed on a Monday. When I called, the gentleman on the phone was very nice and told me the next tech would be ready in 10-15 minutes and I could come in as soon as I liked. The salon is located in a strip mall and being midday on a weekday it was relatively empty so parking wasn't an issue. When I walked in the gentleman was working with someone and told me to pick my color while I waited. They have a large selection of polishes to choose from. I waited around 10 minutes until one of the ladies called me to a table. She was very sweet and genuinely cared about what I wanted and what would look nice. Despite the language barrier we had a little bit of small talk. She did a thorough and efficient job cleaning my nails and the skin around them without cutting me. The polish (I went with OPI bubble bath) came out very even and looks great. The salon is older so the interior isn't as glamorous looking as so many of the new nail salons these days. But that doesn't matter to me as long as it doesn't compromise the cleanliness and professionalism of the salon. I rather have quality work on my nails and good service than fancy chairs and upscale decor. This salon is clean, efficient, and generally quiet with employees who all seem very genuinely nice. Would definitely come back if my regular place isn't available.

I've been coming here for years and won't go to anyone else. Jason does THE BEST job. Everyone in there is absolutely so kind and remembers everything about me. I feel like I'm coming home when I get my nails done. They have so many options for gel polish as well as dip powder. Usually my nails last around 2.5 or 3 weeks and I keep my nails pretty long.

I came in for a French tip regular manicure 2 days ago. The manicurist was very polite and sweet. However, 2 tips were messed up (small but noticeable) and I had to ask her twice to touch them up before leaving. I had large chunks of polish chip off the very next day. I was told they do not retouch non-gel manicures but would make an exception for me. That was quick and easy, but the top coat on one nail was not applied to the whole nail. One corner of the nail was missed. Later that night, 2 more nails lost large chunks of polish. Today, the white tips on several nails are beginning to lift and chip at the edges. 48 hours later, only 2 nails do not have noticeable chipping. I sent photos to the salon and asked for a refund and was denied. Obviously gel lasts much longer than regular polish, but having this be the result 48 hours post $40 manicure is not acceptable.

My elderly mother wanted a mani-pedi and after asking on Nextdoor and Facebook, I received a lot of recommendations for Q Nails & Spa. One of the main requirements was that they are patient enough to work with an elderly person with mild dementia. Her appointment was this past Saturday and I'm happy to report that they absolutely lived up to the recommendations. They were kind enough to schedule my mother on short notice for starters. Once we arrived, it was a bit of a wait but once in the chair, my mother was happy. One perk is the row of massaging chairs. Perhaps this is normal for nail salons, but since I've never had my nails done, I thought this was cool. Truthfully, I almost want to schedule an appointment here just so I can use the chairs! My mother seems very pleased with her mani-pedi and I expect to bring her back again in a few months? Weeks? On a side note, the barber shop next door is awesome. While waiting for my mother, I arranged for a walk-in haircut for my son. The owner Art did an amazing job and my son who's particular about his hair was very pleased. read more

Very sloppy job. I overheard a man complaining too. My acrylics came out very ugly. And seems like I need a fill lol. Never going back. The girl with the diamond on tooth has an attitude problem and is rude texting on the phone while working as well. Done spending my time and money!!! read more

Called and got an appointment right away same day. the young girl who took care of me did a great job. Took her time. Was very picky over her own work and always asked me if what she did was okay. i took a picture of what i wanted and she got it perfectly. clean job all around. tools came straight out of a bag. OMG...Worst pedicure I ever got in my life plus they person that did it didn't even know how to apply the polish. Very disappointed...will never go back again. The place was very dirty and the towels were all on the floor. It GROSSED me out. I'm sure that the person that work on me didn't even have a license for a manicurist. read more

I've been coming here for years and Jason has amazing customer service and always schedules their clientele with honesty. They have so many colors to choose from and all the latest fancy colors like chrome and the powders. I've been going to Lisa nonstop for years and her work has only improved from what was already great work. I love her work and her !They have massage chairs too and waxing. My whole family goes here now and we wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

Uh, yeah I get a MANicure! It all started when I worked at my family's diamond brokerage firm in DTLA. I was handling jewelry & gem stones all the damn time. No jeweler in their right mind would ever show customers items with jacked up fingers. The ladies here do a nice job cleaning out dried up or out of control cuticles & cuttin' down your talons in the shape they're supposed to be in. Have your nails buffed to nice shine & you're golden. And guys? If you can stand getting your feet touched, do your significant others a favor and get those done too. No woman I know wants to feel scratchy toenails or sandpaper heels under the sheets. I tried it once before, but I'm so damned ticklish I almost dislocated my pedicurist's jaw once. I don't do feet. So I try to take care of them myself...the wifey appreciates it. I'm no longer in jewelry business, but still very secure in my manhood to make sure that my nails look awesome for the black jack, poker & craps table. ...and you can't have a nice time-piece or ring on your finger with hammer-jacked fingernails. You can't... Trust me guys. My wife loves 'em. The ladies notice. I give them 4-Stars, but this is the only place my wife goes to for her manicure/pedicure. She'd give them a 5. So the extra star is from her. I'm deez® & I hope this helps... read more

Lovely place, lovely, kind people. I arrived about an hour before closing and was not rushed though. They told me to relax and enjoy! This is just what I needed right after work. Gave this spot another shot a few months the ago. Met Lisa and she is is amazing with my nails. Knows exactly what I want and give me the exact thickness I need since I'm heavy handed. I'm not quite sure why it's taken me so long to write this review. I have been going to Q Nail for a bit over a year now. I was referred by a friend who's been a customer for years and it was always convenient as I would work close by at least once a month. After I left my old company and did not continue to travel to Glendale/Burbank area anymore, I tried a number of different places closer to home in La Canada. After many failed attempts for the perfect mani/pedi, I just had to go back to Q Nails. Trish is the best ever! I love her! :) I always do gel polish and it looks fresh for weeks! She is also en expert in waxing, just the absolute best! I'm not too picky when it comes to my toes but Mimi always does a great job! I highly recommend Q Nails to anyone who asks! read more

$18 regular pedi was bare basics: a soak (in plain warm water), barely a foot scrub, nail trim, minimum cuticle cleaning, and paint that doesn't reach the corners of you nails). They also rushed it in 20 minutes. Unfortunately, the pickings of nail salons are slim-to-none in the Riverside Rancho area of Glendale, and sadly, this is the most decent one. I would suggest planning ahead and finding a better nail salon somewhere else. Otherwise, if you're in need of an emergency pedi, I guess this will do. read more

My sister and I have been going to Q Nails since we were in high school. The prices and quality of work are unbeatable, especially for being in the greater LA area. You could easily pay $100+ at a different salon for gel nails and a spa pedi, but at Q you'll spend half of that. My gel manicures last forever and always look fresh. They are usually super packed on weekends, which is why they are by appointment only on Saturday and Sunday, so take that into consideration and plan your trip accordingly. read more

This is my go to place, but sadly my last visit wasn't the best. Jason, as usual, did a beautiful job with my gel manicure. But my pedicure was unfortunate. You pay the extra charge for the OPI infinite shine polish, yet the proper primer and gloss for the kit isn't used. She just used a regular base coat and the seche vite top coat. So, what's the point? Remember, you pay so much to pamper yourself, but you don't get what you pay for. In addition, the top coat was done so sloppy. I hate having to inspect their work so closely because I end up looking too nit picky. If the tech took the time and cared in the first place, the outcome will always be pleasant. I love going back here, but this visit is making me think twice. read more

So I found this place through Yelp and the reviews helped. I went in today and Katie assisted me. I got a full set and paid $25. Unlike other places this place has employees that speak English in it's entirety. I felt very good being here and felt very welcome! Katie did my nails exactly the way I wanted them and she asked me time and time again if I liked her work. I LOVED them!!! Definitely coming here again!!! read more

For a change, I decided to give this nail salon a go. The guy who answered my call sounded super chipper and friendly. I felt pretty welcome. The nail salon was located in a small strip mall with private parking shared with other businesses. It was pretty easy to find a parking spot. As I walked into the salon, all the staff were busy with other customers, but I was seated in a big pedicure chair before too long. My feet were in dire need of TLC. The poor lady who was assigned to work on my pedicure suggested a special foot scrub ($6 extra). I usually don't like it when people try to up-sell, but I had to say yes to this extra service. I am so glad I did because my feet are now soft and smooth. The pedicure lady had to scrub the crap (= lots and lots of dead skin!!) out of my feet, and I had to apologize for my feet being nasty!! I also got gel manicure and brow wax done. The total was $56 or so (before tip). I am so happy the way my nails and eyebrows look. It is good to clean up every once in awhile! read more

Found this salon on Yelp and decided to give it a try since it was on my way home from work. Still haven't found that one pace where I can go regularly.. I got their Q classic mani/pedi for $25 and in most salons foot stubbing/exfoliating is included. These guys charge $6 extra.. Overall I loved my pedicure - the lady was very thorough with it and did an excellent job.. Manicure on the other hand was a 3 star..I could see un-manicured section of the nail on the sides...also the polish started chipping the very next day:( the massages on both hands and feet were short - 30 seconds max each... The manicurist tried to sell me on gel manicure a few times only for me to say no like 4 times... Salon overall looks clean and inviting. I will consider coming back here if I don't find anything closer and better read more

this place deserves beyond 5 stars, my gosh, I've been all over town and it's not easy pleasing me, but I found my place, finally! the insane happiness I have right now, words can not describe. I always like my cuticle cut a lot on my toes and she went beyond my request. Lisa was so friendly and talkative, most Asian ladies do not even give you the time of day. I work in Glendale and wanted to get my nails done on lunch. I found Q Nails on yelp and thought I would give it a try. I called first and spoke with Jason. I mentioned I would be coming on my lunch & asked what is the best time to come. When I got to Q Nails Jason was waiting for me and ready to start my nails immediately. I have gel nails and I just got a gel color change for $20. For a gel color change it took 45 minutes. I will definitely return to Q Nails! read more

Decent place to get a Manny Petty and waxing done however the last two times I have been there no temperature check. The manicurist have always worn masks because of the fine dust please appears very clean. I was asked to bring cash the next time but they don't have their prices posted nor was I given a brochure with prices. read more

Walked in for a mani pedi and was immediately welcomed. All staff is friendly and attentive!especially manager Jason. I was lucky he got to do my manicure and was very detailed when doing so. I really appreciated his honesty when i asked for advice on something. It's not easy finding a place that you leave please with the service and the results. I'm obsessed! I went in and the nice technician started removing my gel, at the end of removing my gel she asked 'do you want me to cut your cuticles for you?' And I said 'if you don't mind that would be appreciated!' She cut my cuticles and I went to wash my hands and was ready to pay. However when I went to pay, the receptionist told me it would be $45, I asked to confirm the price because all I got was my gel removed and she told me because I agreed to having my cuticles cut, it was now considered a manicure and 'she did the service so I need to pay it.' To which I asked for clarification because she did not paint my nails, do a clear coat, soak my nails, or any of the other services that come with a manicure. She said I could get a polish if I wanted to and I considered it but then I asked again is there no way to pay a little more than the gel removal fee because yes she did cut my cuticles but it feels unfair that since they did not communicate that uncharge to me that I would be expected to pay for a service I simply did not get. She said I should have asked for the prices when she offered to cut my cuticles and I said that doesn't feel fair because I've gotten gel removed before where they just cut my cuticles without asking so why would I have assumed it would be a $35 add on to my $10 service. The receptionist then told me to leave and she would rather me not pay than argue with her. I explained I was not arguing and I do want to pay, $45 for a service I did not receive feels unfair but I would not be leaving without paying. I took a $20 out of my wallet and put it on the technicians table and left. I paid double what I would have paid for the service alone, I will not let someone think I'm trying to not pay service workers, she deserves to be paid, however, I am not okay with trying to be scammed out of $35 for a up-charge that was not communicated properly. I do not recommend this shady behavior in an establishment, sorry for the miscommunication but this could have been handled so much better than it was.

I went on a whim because I was in Burbank and I am so happy with my gel mani! Yuyu was my manicurist and she did such a meticulous and beautiful job on my nails. From the shape to the cleaning, and of course she chose a color that was exactly what I was imagining. The only downside is a 4% charge on CC transactions. There's an ATM inside you can use, it's only a $1 charge.

What sets them apart from other places is that they really care about your nail health (won't overdrill/overbuff, very careful with removals, etc). For my birthday, my friend and I decided to get our nails done together, and I thought Organic Nail House was the best place to go. Julie was my tech that day, and she was absolutely lovely. I got hard gel nails done in Japan, and it took awhile to remove, but she handled it with such care. My nails still felt strong. I chose to do white 002 with #13 chrome and it turned out so beautiful!!! I am literally obsessed with this new color and can't stop looking at it in the light!!! I may want to just do this combination every single time!! The salon itself is a very relaxing environment. Especially coming on a weekday, it was extra peaceful and lovely. Also, the owners of this place were very nice and cleared up the misunderstanding we had during my first appt. I appreciated the genuine and kind follow up from them, which means a lot to me! I do love the quality of work they do here, and they'll continue to be my go-to nail salon!

I didn't even get to pick a pedicure package. I was provided with basic services. With that being said, I got a gel French pedicure, but keep in mind I did not get a sugar scrub, hot towel treatment, or any extras however she still charged me $70 as if I choose a deluxe pedicure package. I should have spoken up, but I just wanted to get out of there. The environment is not warm or welcoming and they clearly take advantage and rip you off. I will not be coming back.

I am truely sad to have to write a negative review for this place…read more I was really hoping based on their other reviews, that I found my new nail place. I had hard Gel on my nails from my old place. Not chips or cracks! I was asking for my nails to be cut all the way down and hard gel again. Ben was the tech, he used a dremel to grind off what was on my nails and to cut down the length. I first had to keep telling him to go shorter and shorter. He then used the nail file and it still wasn't getting them short enough and they were extremely crooked. I had to point out about 8 of the 10 nails one by one that need to be leveled out. He then did his thing painting them. I got no lotion, no cuticle cutting, no hand message. Just the Dremel, file, paint, light and oil. About 3 hrs later 1 nail chipped. I went back and Rose tried to corrected it. She removed everything off the nail again. Placed some type of liquid hardener, cure it, but did not smooth it out so after it was painted it looked rippled. By that night a 2nd nail cracked, by morning a 3rd nail chipped. I wasn't doing any house work or anything to cause it. By day day 3, I have 3 chipped and 1 cracked nail and that's not mentioning the one they corrected. $50 for Hard Gel and 2 Visit, tipping both visits. Gone! Update: 7 days later my nails are so messed up. I really wanted to possibly go back and give them one more chance but absolutely not!

Both Ani and Anna were very attentive throughout the appointment and kept checking to make sure I liked the shape and cuticle work, which I appreciated. I especially loved my pedicure. The only issue was with my manicure. Toward the end, I noticed a piece of dust trapped under the gel or top coat on one of my nails. Since it's something I'll probably notice every day for the next few weeks, I pointed it out when she asked if everything was okay. She checked it and added another layer of top coat, but the dust was still visible. I'm not someone who likes confrontation, so I ended up just leaving, even though I knew I'd probably regret not speaking up more. Overall, everyone was kind and detail-oriented, and I really enjoyed the pedicure. I just wish the manicure issue had been fixed before I left.

My feet have been through it the last couple of years (sports) and I wanted to get serious about caring for them properly, not just getting them painted. Of course, I turned to Yelp for the scoop and zeroed in on Ms. Glen's Therapeutic Manicures & Pedicures. I finally got a chance to go see Ms. Glen and it was everything I wanted and more. It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. And thanks again for the massage therapist recommendation. Rest and recovery, here I come!

If your feet are in need of TLC, renewal and restoration, Ms. Glen has a carefully curated service that will leave your feet feeling brand new. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!

Been here twice so far, because a friend lives in the Glendale area and up there is more selection than here in the south bay. I did get the gel manicure and I love that they have a huge selection of colors to choose from (all kinds of OPI). My gel mani lasts about 2 weeks, which saves me some time and money. They have all sorts of fancy mani/pedi combos but I just get the basic which included a scrub and a massage and it is reasonably priced. Clean place and pretty relaxing without the typical noise and constant talking of the technicians. I recommend and will be back! read more
