Staff checked us in via tablet alongside lemon-water. It's a tight lobby. The restroom is straight past the rooms in the back- to the left. Once it was time for my appointment, I was taken aside to discuss service needs. Once were in session, the sound of the ocean was played. I elected to have the Swedish Massage by Denise. A warmed towel, rod and heated lavender scented pillow were all incorporated. My neck wasn't feeling the massage headrest long term. So, I moved myself onto the bed completely. Do what you gotta do. The massage was helpful for releasing some knots around my shoulders and overall circulation. I also added the under eye patch treatment. The rooms are a curtain away from each other. So, note that once back near and/or in your room that the staff communicates in hushed whispers. I wasn't quite sure when the appointment was to start and finish. I feel like I blinked and it over. The front desk associate is so pleasant. Ana, my massage therapist, was so warm and calm upon meeting her which definitely translated to her massage skills. I got the prenatal massage as I'm 37 weeks with an active toddler at home so I really needed some deep relaxation. She was so gentle and just had the magic touch - a skill that is not learned but is innate. It put me to sleep which is rare for me as I do not take naps. The 2nd appointment, I just had w/ Emily, today, after seeing my doctor, I asked for the body massage (& a little less pressure); she did perfectly, again, & this time, it was just a great massage (no adjustment feelings after). They also have some other (3rd) type of massage, but I'm not totally sure what it is, but sounded more like oils & aroma, which is definitely not something I'd be interested in. Outside of the one odd review on Google, I saw they had a 4.8 rating, & since close to house, I decided to go initially. I'm SO HAPPY I did, & there's NO FUNNY BUSINESS AT ALL, so disregard that odd person's Google review. Go & you'll definitely be glad you did. The first session I extended from 1hr to 1.5hrs b/c I was so stressed; this time, I stuck w/ a hour. Both were GREAT.
