That was my *last* appointment with them. **NOTE: I have reviewed the businesses response to my post and it's incorrect. My skin does redden easily (I'm a redhead) but it doesn't exempt it from hair removal. Plus - if skin sensitivity was an issue, wouldn't / shouldn't their tech have said something to me since they're sending me home w/hairs still visible? Wouldn't my facialist have said something by now (she hasn't). I've been seeing her every two weeks for 10 years. And I've had my brows waxed for 30+ years. It IS possible to do it correctly.......

During a leave of absence , I saw a different hairstylist (a level 2) stylist for a cut, and balayage. During the consult, the stylist seemed confident about being able to help me achieve what I wanted. Which was more than reasonable and should've been able to be achieved because frankly it was just like a caramel balayage, nothing crazy. I did not feel that my layers were adequately trimmed. They were not even and my hair felt rough ... my hair looked healthier before the haircut. The balayage technique was not actually even applied. The stylist performed a partial. I went in with level five hair and still came out with level five hair after being in foils for a couple of hours which never happens. I'm always able to get great results with lightning my hair. I left feeling extremely disappointed. When my husband came home, he automatically just said " oh, did you cancel your hair appointment? I thought you were going to the salon today?!" And I had to explain that I did, but he said it looks like nothing had been done. I did reach out a week later, a master stylist reached out to me to fix my hair. Ultimately in the end, I know that the stylist did all they could with what they had to work with to make it look decent. The "fix" was just as disappointing. I have literally spent my entire summer trying to get my hair to heal from this experience. And between the cut and color I spent a lot of my hard earned money to not enjoy the results or frankly the experience. This all happened a couple months ago back in June. I wasn't sure about writing a review, but after taking some time to think, I thought it would be best to let everyone know. Also, I'm not sure if they started using different hair color, but their toner washed out really quickly. Like after one wash. I've always enjoyed most of the stylists here, but if you're gonna spend the money here, really do your research on reviews and book accordingly.- I highly recommend Crystal! She's the best!

The final result wasn't an exact copy of the photo, it was actually better, and she was thrilled with how it turned out (the flower was hand drawn not a jewel). What impressed me most was that they genuinely cared about making sure she was happy and were willing to make changes along the way until she loved the result. (The photo here is before they finished and cleaned her hand up). Reading some of the negative reviews, I wonder how many people communicated their concerns during the appointment. In my experience, if you speak up, they genuinely want to make it right. They can't fix something if they don't know you're unhappy with something. The salon felt clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. It was a hot day outside, but the inside felt cool and comfortable the entire time. I occasionally noticed staff helping other customers while I was there, but I never felt neglected and the delays were brief. For me, a salon visit is a chance to relax, so it wasn't an issue at all. If I had been in a hurry, I believe I could have communicated that and they would have accommodated me. Overall, I found the staff kind, accommodating, and focused on customer satisfaction. In a world where good customer service can be hard to find, this team stood out. They listened, cared about the outcome, and made sure we left happy. I worked with Kim in the beginning and then Anna continued my service. Both women were very nice. I will be back for all my builder gel needs, etc. Anna taught me builder and hard gel are the same thing. Essentially hard gel is the brand name. She also gave me a cute little trinket two gold pins with pearls on them and a rewards card. So nice!! Awesome vibe. It was my first time there and I enjoyed my experience. 10/10.

I went today for my son's haircut.She made my son cry and was so forceful on him that she din't give me even a second to hold him properly and ran the trimmer on him and left him cuts on two sides of his neck.My son was crying the whole time.They are not patient at all with the kids.I went there first time and I was not satisfied with the look but I still gave a second chance but it turned out to be even worse.The trimmers are not cleaned and the grey hair from the previous customer was all over my son's face.The ladies here are not friendly at all and are very rude! Thinking she was going to get it on her way in to make up for being over a half hour late I said yes. That was the wrong choice. The stylist ordered it but asked me to go pick it up across the street. First of all I had never met this woman before in my life. It just felt oddly unprofessional. When she came in she was clearly running late because of a late night and hungover as she discussed her night with her coworkers. It's an open salon, everybody can hear your conversations. The second time, I gave another try because my hair did look good & perhaps it was an off day that first time. This time though, I noticed my hair didn't look as great as the first time and it felt rushed. Tried a new stylist for the third time and she got bleach on the back of my shirt but didn't tell me, found out when I got home. I wish she just mentioned it at least.

I have been doing my own highlights for a while now but have trouble doing the back of my hair, which was darker than the front. When I came in Von suggested that I add low-lights to the front of my hair to help even out the front with the back. I agreed this was a good idea, as I had a lot of blonde in the front. She also suggested a root smudge to help hide some fine hairs near my face that had some Grey. I've never done this before but decided to go with her recommendation. I was happy with how it looked after adding highlight to the back and some low-lights to the front. She had another employee do the root smudge which turned out horrible, as it was a different tone (more auburn) than my highlights. I told her that I thought the color was off, and way too dark as it also covered the highlights that had just been done. She said to give it some time to get used to the new look because I am used to seeing so much blonde. I made an appointment a week later and asked her if she could tone the root smudge to better match the tone of the rest of my hair, she agreed that the color was off and applied toner. Unfortunately the toner further darkened my remaining highlights. She apologized for the outcome and asked me to come back the following week at 11:00am to have another employee (who is better at highlights) add some highlights around my face while waiting for the dark toned hair to wash out. When I came in today at 11:00am (Saturday July 18th, 2026) there were many people waiting for hair appointments. Von greeted me and asked, can you come back later today, we are too busy right now? I said that I was confused because I have an appointment. Von told me that I didn't have an appointment, she had only suggested that I come on Saturday at 11:00am. She had the other person take a look at my hair. They discussed my issue but not in English. She then told me they were too busy today and asked "can you come back in about a week? It's going to take 2.5 hours for her to fix your hair." I walked out without replying. I am so disappointed that Von treated me this way. I really liked her which is why I was willing to give her a chance to correct what had gone wrong. All I wanted was a haircut and full highlights. Now I will have to pay someone else for an expensive color correction. Buyer be ware.
