I came in and at first I didn't know what to expect because it was dirty looking and plus it was raining so that didn't help but I fully expected it to look bad BUT was pleasantly surprised. You go in like you're going into the Dk Asian mart but the entrance is right before entering the store. The service was great because I was immediately greeted and treated right away. I've been coming here for years but today was such an awful experience the owner he speaks to people like dogs (I've seen how he's has spoken to other people so horrible and today happened to me). I asked for why an additional charge on services received he was all loud and defensive, it's not matter of the bill is how he speaks to people with no respect. I had one of the worst experiences ever. I went for a Brazilian, but it didn't even look like I got one. When I told the waxer there was still a lot of hair left, she said my hair was too short. But I managed to do it myself at home. The owner's wife tried to gaslight me into staying, saying the same thing about my hair being too short, even though I've been getting waxes for years with no issues. They refused to resolve it and I had to pay for the full service, leaving very unsatisfied. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

Please go here at your own risk. I went there for a full face waxing this week. I had to go to my doctor today to be treated for burns and super painful skin issues today. I am unable to wash my face or focus on anything else because all I feel is a deep burning sensation. Please know that I have been getting my face waxed monthly for years. 10-15 years and nothing like the experience I had here! Horrible. The woman who did my service was very inexperienced and literally started waxing with wax the way most places do for legs/arms. Rough work, super aggressive and didn't ask how i wanted it done. Ripped off my facial skin and sideburns (another story that I wanted it to be shaped as natural, never had a chance because she just ripped it off without even consulting) to such an extent that I have been in nothing but agonizing pain the last 2 days. My doctor says the cuts and bruises are so deep that it is expected to leave dark scars. The portions below my eyes are now swollen similar to what one would experience with burns. I should also mention that the full face waxing is listed at $20 to attract people in but once you start they ask for $22 with no explanation. And no the $2 is not the tip, just a price padding they do strangely. Why list a different price on the menu and board pasted there then? Just change the price on the service list with prices already instead of confusing people. I am considering writing to relevant authorities to get the licence of this personnel checked. Not sure what training she has received to subject someone to this level of agony. I let the owner know and he said he will share my feedback with her. She was gone leaving my service mid way before it was done and more experienced person had to step in to complete the work. My face looks so bruised I don't even want to go to office for shame of people asking what the hell happened! I just feel like crying and feel horrible to have subjected myself to this misery for days now. read more

Sigh, I am sad to say I won't be returning here. I started out LOVING this place, and I had been going there every 3-4 wees for the past 7 months. My experience was awesome at first. It's five dollars! Who can beat that? My brows looked comparable to when I would visit Anastasia waxing. Best of all, the threading made my face less red than waxing. I had a few different employees, and they were all competent. After a while, i started noticing that the quality of my service was contingent on how busy it was. I just really felt like they were rushing during the busy times, and then my brows would not be as neatly trimmed or threaded. Over time, I felt like my brows were getting thinner instead of maintaining the same full shape. One time when I went in there, I was instructed not to take a number, and then my turn got missed. Finally, the last time I visited, I left with two cuts under my left eyebrow. I can't risk this happening again, especially with my wedding coming up! read more

Dammit, do these girls inflict pain! I've been to numerous threading places all throughout California and Seattle and the girls at Grace Beauty Salon know how to thread well but they sure do it aggressively. When you walk in there is no welcoming greeting nor any need to check in to redeem points through a fancy tablet or kiosk. The girls simply acknowledge your presence and tell you to have a seat. The wait is very short and before you know it, you are sitting in a threading chair ready for pain. The salon is a no-nonsense salon where they get you in quick and get you out satisfied. There is no friendly banter exchanged between the customer and threader. But who cares, they do a damn good job at what I came for- and that's threading only. At $5 for eyebrows, $3 for upper lip, these prices are the lowest I've seen around Seattle! And credit cards are accepted which makes it super convenient. Again, Grace Beauty Salon falls short on customer service but I'd come back repeatedly for a job well done! read more

Absolutely love this place for efficiency and amazingly well done brows! I have been coming here about once a month for almost a year now and you can't beat $5 for threading at other places. No appointment is needed since they're very quick and skilled at what they do. The threading does hurt just a tiny bit but not to the point where I would tear up. I typically come in right around opening time on a weekend so the wait is about 5-10 minutes tops. It can get pretty busy but with the right timing I can be in and out within 10 minutes. There's also no greeter if you go in. So if it gets busy simply to go the cash register counter and grab a number for your turn. The salon isn't exactly in the greatest building but it's right at the front. Parking spaces are pretty tight, so be careful since it can get pretty busy in the parking lot from the grocery store.
