This was the worst haircut I've ever had. Maybe their better with women's cuts but what I got was a butcher job.

This is a place where the prices are very reasonable. USUALLY that makes me nervous. But I've been happy with their services on several occasions, and SUPER HAPPY with the color I got done there recently. At THREE more pricey salons I had asked for them to please make my hair a silvery, grey, or white kind of color, depending on what the hair could tolerate. They came back with boring bayalage of champagne, one went with a standard No. 1 blonde, and a final one, wheat. I was SO MAD. I explained to (I think it was Lynne?) at Crossgate that I've wanted this changed, & we decided to bleach and tone the roots, which weren't processed. She then toned it overall and ::VOILA!!:: I have beautiful silvery grey! It's so pretty! Very grateful! read more

Pricing here is SO good. I always come here even though it's a 30 min drive for me now. I recently learned that haircuts for long hair at other places is twice as much?! that's wild. I get long layers here and it's about $25 which is amazing and I love how it's cut. Co Truc always does such a great job with my hair. I recently when in for a haircut and went for highlights on a whim. I pulled up a random pinterest picture and she did a great job. it's not to match the photo exactly but just to fit a more natural coloring that works for me which I appreciated her expertise in considering my tones. She even styled it for me at the end and asked to make sure I liked it, offering to fix anything that I didn't! so nice! she said she gets happiness off satisfied customers / when they like their hair which I thought was really sweet. Not happy at all that I've been going to this place for so many years I used to go there when it was the previous owner and still tried to go and give them the benefit of the doubt for several years lately just for them to turn me down today because they said every time they do my highlights they don't want to fix their mistake what kind of sense does that make so sad not good for business just because you mess up my hair and don't want to fix it that is ridiculous . read more

I got my hair colored and highlighted. Went in with pictures of the warm chocolate brown color and said I wanted the highlights similar to the base color (a honey color) I went in with. I even said I just wanted to have my base color pulled as the highlights. She looked over pictures I had and said she could do it. The brown is dark and dull and my head is covered in white stripes. This just aged me 10 years. I've been sobbing since I got home. Each time I see myself in the mirror, the water works start all over because it's horrendous. read more

Love this place!! All these ladies used to work at the salon at Great Wall Mall, but because their boss didn't pay them well after how many years, they left and opened their own salon. Good for you ladies! Love my stylist Susan since she was at the other salon. My whole family has been going through her, but if she's off, the other ladies in this salon are great! For guys hair cut like comb over, cesar cut, fades, tapers. they got you, trust me. I been to a few barber shop around Kent, like Top Fade and the spot on Central across the street from the 7Eleven. I explained/describe to the barbers at these places what I wanted, I ask to get a taper and blend it so it has a nice transition to the rest of my hair. These guys always fuck up my hair by giving me a bald fade, or something their giving everyone else. Long story short, these ladies understood what I was describing, and haven't disappointed me yet. read more

I've been to a lot of hair salons. Most of the SuperCuts that I go to just completely butcher my hair. I have crazy curly hair that turns into an afro as it grows out. That being said, I wasn't expecting it to turn out that well when I stopped in for a haircut a few months ago. But, when I showed them the picture of Robin Thicke that I show every stylist I go to, and they told me, "oh no! Your hair is too curly for that!" I knew I was in the right place. That was almost half a year ago... and every two months, I'm back. Great price, great service, minimal wait whenever I head in, and I'm in and out in under twenty minutes. I'd say that I'd be back, but I just was there today... it'll be a few months. read more

I simply was not happy with how my hair turned out. I had beautiful, thick, medium-long hair with a light brown balayage and left with fried, yellow-orange highlights and thinned out, much shorter hair. I am giving two stars because I do feel this is partly my fault. I should've waited for my hair stylist to do my hair. Instead, I impulsively went to this salon. The lady who consulted me was kind, but the one who worked on my hair was probably having a bad day. After my hair was foiled, they started applying something all over. This is where I should've said something, but I'm socially awkward and kept my mouth shut. After they applied everything on my hair, my scalp started burning and I had to ask to get taken off the heater because I felt I was going to faint. The lady took me off of it and washed the color out, then called another lady and started speaking in her native tongue. I wondered if something was really wrong. Then she shampooed my hair (she was not gentle while she scraped my scalp) and got me back to her chair and told me she was done. My hair was dripping wet, I conjured up the courage to ask her to at least blown dry it, I wanted to see what the color looked like. (Is that not standard) After she blew dried it, my hair looked really really dried out and I noticed breakage. I asked her to trim off the breakage, she cut off like 3 inches and thinned it out! I didn't even ask for that. I am going to Williams James salon because of this place to try to fix it. I just don't trust them touching my hair to correct their mistake. I'll update my post with pictures to show everyone. I really wish I would've been happy leaving Crossgate Salon, but my hair is now a sad nightmare. Update: tried getting a refund. The owner said "I can't do that. This is a business. If I gave you and anyone else who wanted even a partial refund, I'd go out of business" Ok how many people are wanting a refund from you then? Do you suck that bad? Avoid this crap salon. read more
