As you sit in the Restaurant or in the outdoor seating area, you have a great view of the beautiful historic Suwannee River. The Service is quite good and friendly. I had a cup of the Crab Bisque before my meal arrived. The owner makes it fresh daily. The waitress said they often run out of it. I ordered the Palm Salad , unfortunately it was already gone. For my Neal I had the Fried Grouper with Fried Okra and a Sweet Potato. The food was served nice and hot , cooked to perfection and was delicious. My wife had the Fried Grouper Sandwich. With Cole Slaw. She enjoyed it very much. . On their Website they guarantee that you will not leave hungry. That was true. We had enough leftover food to bring home enough for another meal. For Desert we decided to share the Brownie Sunday. In many restaurants desserts are served up in skimpy portions, not at Treasure Camp. The portion was so large that we both ate plenty of it and brought home enough to finish off another meal. If you enjoy a rich decadent gooey brownie with a generous portion of vanilla bean ice cream, this will be the dessert for you. They also had Key Lime Pie, sizzling Apple Pie and Vanilla Bean Ice Cream. Treasure Camp Restaurant is well off the beaten path, but the food makes the drive worthwhile. If you have a boat you can also arrive that way. There are some cabins, but we did not look at them . A boat ramp is adjacent to the Restaurant and Store. After your meal you can stroll along their dock. This Restaurant has a Chiefland address, but is well outside the town. We drive from Dunnellon about an hour away, we were told that they have frequent diners who come from Crystal River and Homosassa Springs which is even further. Most people would not make this trip unless the food made it all worthwhile. We would definitely make the drive back here again!

If you're a snowflake, please for the love of all things holy, don't try to bring in your stupid little ankle biter dogs. Don't put this amazing staff in that position. I should have known when we sat down and Ray asked us what we wanted to drink, we told her and also asked for an order of Calamari while we waited for our family members- the look she gave us for ordering Calamari was a nasty one. But you know everyone of us can have a moment of RBF or a rough day, so let's move forward She comes and takes our family members drink orders when they arrive a few minutes later, but she wasn't happy about it and it shows.... Then we face our orders, tell her how we wanted the bill split (one side of the table on one bill the other side on the other bill) food comes out the clam chowder tasted good but looked like cake batter, the fish dip was 95% cream cheese, the Calamari tasted good but smelled odd. The best thing on my plate that I order (the shrimp platter broiled) was the corn on the cob! We searched for Ray for refills on our drinks but she only brought the table of 6 people - 2 people got refills Then she brought us the 2 bills - wait what in the world? She explained that she had cleaning in the back - wait what? I asked so do you all offer dessert? Oh yeah, we have 2 which one do you want? Well I didn't see a menu with them so what do you all have, we ordered the keylime pie - which tasted off like a medicine after taste We asked if she could clear the dishes please so we could have exchange Christmas gifts since our family had not been able to get together for the holidays- she literally cleared the middle of the tables plates and we had to pile the rest at the ends of the table So if Ray is your server I say Good Luck Maybe the food is better but we paid $110 for 3 people and I don't feel like we had a good experience with the food or service. Here's my opinion if you're having a rough night or you don't wanna be a server then don't wait on tables but if you're gonna wait on tables and you're going to service clients that are nice that are friendly that are laughing then please for the love of everything give them something in return give them a refill. We're not asking for anything for free. We're just literally asking for you to tend to the table that is in your custody. I did leave her a tip, but I do have to say it was really bad circus and I really hope that in the future, she will get better service to other patrons of the restaurant.

This…read morewas my first time dining here (as I was visiting from out of town) but we had fantastic food and service! what made me choose this place to eat was because they are sea to table table -- I really love to support any local restaurants that care about where their food comes from. Plus, all the food was so delicious and the drinks were really good too. my mom ended up getting the crabcake Benedict and I tasted it and that was the best thing on the table for sure so if you go for brunch, make sure you get that. Or at least sit next to the person who did order it and have a bite of theirs. The Bacon Mary was really good/thick and it wasn't watery-- I didn't find it very spicy so if you want it spicy though. Great food, great service, and a really cool vibe with all the fish hanging from the ceiling. It was too hot to sit outside, but I'm sure with the right weather that could be nice too. Check it out if you're in the area, you won't be disappointed. (If you're balling on a budget, brunch is more affordable.)

I always start by ordering an appetizer crab claws. They are usually big and you get about 16 of them. They were a little smaller today but still delicious. I do like their tartar sauce and cocktail sauce, which is on the table. The tartar sauce taste just like I would make it and the cocktail sauce has a little less horseradish than I would put in, but it's still very flavorful. The fried shrimp is excellent. My friend likes the sweet potato fries and I like their slaw. The crabcakes Were crabby and not too much bread. Today I had the fish sandwich which was a catfish fillet on a hoagie roll. It came with lettuce, tomato, onions, and dill pickle. The dill pickles were great and I don't like pickles. The catfish was perfectly tender, coated in cornmeal and fried. I always enjoy the trip up to Attapulgus and my service is always spot on. Oh the cheese grits were good. The only thing that I dislike is that the food comes on disposable plates and Styrofoam cups. But at least that way they don't have dishes to do. I'll come back again.
