Don't have much resistance on a camel shaped latte. Had a lady coffee time today. First time visiting this place which is very spacious for a coffee shop. They have done a great job to set up the lobby have three areas with super nice benches around the wall. Perfect for the group chatting. I tried the Qishr for the first time. Light than a regular coffee, more like tea body. With some ginger taste and very little sweetness. It took about 10 mins to make. I liked it a lot. Also got the bird's nest which I highly recommend. Creamer than the regular baklava and perfect portion for us. Certainly could be one of my regulars.

Really enjoyed our experience here. Everything from the spacious layout with a clean chic look, to comfortable furniture, to the welcome greeting as you walk in - made it so inviting. We ordered Adeni tea and the Mofawer coffee. Both were strong, flavorful, a delight to sip. I particularly appreciated receiving our drinks in real cups vs paper cups. And these special double-walled ones (see pictures) kept our drinks warm for longer. The dessert counter looked so incredibly tempting. The restroom was clean too.

11/22/25 update: This is my second time at this location. We came at night on a Saturday. Surprisingly, it wasn't busy. However, my favorite spot to sit in was taken up by this huge Filipino family that looked like they'd been sitting there for hours and hours. All of the kids were jumping on all of the seats. I would suggest coming here in the day time when there are no kids, that way you can see the cleaned look. Also, the customer service was fine. I believe the negative reviews are from Karen's that only know American culture. We ordered pistachio cheesecake, royal halwa, sand dunes latte, and pistachio matcha. I didn't care too much about the royal halwa. It was a bit too sweet. However, I enjoyed the pistachio cheesecake and the matcha. The matcha selections you can find on that advertising screen that cycles through images.

Stopped into Arwa for the first time on New Year's Eve in need of a serious pick me up and was so glad to find them still open and happily taking orders. It's a great coffee spot from what I could gather. Very clean and well maintained with good drink options and food offerings too. I ordered a Sand Dune latte and it was a perfect sampling of Yemeni flavors that really helped me warm up on that cold last night of the year. The cardamom and honey are well balanced with the caramel and vanilla to make a tasty drink that I am looking forward to trying iced at some point.

I have yet to try a variety of Yemeni coffee houses but is that necessary when I've found one that I truly enjoy? Arwa had a collaboration with Fountaindale Public Library and hosted a Monday morning story time for young children. My girls had a school holiday and I could always use an excuse to splurge on caffeine. We arrived early and I ordered a mofawer coffee in the meantime. It was a very well-balanced coffee with cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, milk, and sugar. If you like a little spice, this is the drink for you. Story time was held in a separate private room that is spacious enough to hold 30 children and parents. The Fountaindale Public Library staff arrived early and was prepared with activities, books, small rug, music, and dance moves. Story time lasted for approximately 40 minutes. She was animated, friendly, and interactive. My girls had a wonderful time and we look forward to their next story time. The coffee house is clean and modern with intricate designs. The location is incredibly ideal because it is in the same plaza as Aldi and Ikea. These are places that my family and I would frequent so with Arwa in the area, we can easily check them off.

This place of gorgeous! I love the arched decor and the layout of the shop. There's multiple areas to sit depending on your mood. There's a room that offers a more lounge option as well as regular tables and chairs. In the back, there's also a quieter area if you're wanting to get some work done with more focus. The bathrooms are also very nice and very clean. I have been here a couple of times and I've enjoyed both hot and cold beverages. Keep an eye out for their seasonal drink specials as they do have some really fun ones. I've tried their desserts from the case and were all very delicious. I love banana pudding and theirs is really good and highly recommended. The staff is super nice and patient as you study the menu and they were very quick with making the coffee. I barely sat down and my drink was all ready! Great spot and definitely a nice treat!

Arwa Yemeni Coffee feels like stepping into a hug. The warmth hits you the moment you walk in -- from the people, the space, and that aroma of cardamom and coffee in the air. The service is genuine and grounded in real hospitality. I ordered the Mofawer, a traditional Yemeni coffee made with cardamom, ginger, cinnamon, and milk. It was exquisite -- smooth, aromatic, and full of depth. Paired with the Biscoff Lotus Cheesecake and Banana Pudding, it turned into an experience, not just a visit. Both desserts were rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. The space is bright and inviting, with just the right energy for conversation or quiet time. Every detail feels intentional, from the décor to the playlist. I even grabbed a t-shirt on my way out because once you've been here, you want to take a piece of Arwa with you. Arwa isn't just a coffee shop. It's comfort, culture, and community in a cup.

Perfection EVERYWHERE! I am obsessed with Arwa. This Yemeni coffee shop recently opened and it is absolutely stunning. There are several spaces to enjoy your time here. It was designed beautifully. Staff members were very helpful. They made sure to be available at all times. After placing a large-ish order, everything was ready to be picked up at the front counter within 5-10 mins. My group and I tried a variety of items. A pot of adeni tea, a sand dune latte, the honey comb pastry, pistachio milk cake, and pistachio cheesecake. Prices are on the higher side for food items given the portion size. Both drinks were delicious and hot. I'd order them again. I didn't love the honey comb pastry, which surprises me since I'm a big fan of this item. Unfortunately I won't be getting it from here again. But! The pistachio milk cake and cheesecake?! DANG! Both were divine.

Beautiful space, great desserts, and fantastic drinks!! such a perfect study space for student as well, since there's outlets everywhere, so I'll definitely be back! We tried a few things off the menu to get a taste of everything. We tried the Dubai chocolate brownie and omg it was so good! I do wish there was a bit more katiafi since the brownie in the case had a lot more, but overall so good!!! We also got the Yemeni coffee and that was delicious. Not only did it have their cute camel design overtop, but the blend of spices is perfect. We tried the traditional sampler, which includes the jubani, mofawer, adeni tea, and red tea. All the drinks were delicious, but the top contenders were the red tea and the jubani. We also opted for the treats pairing, which was a nice addition, but will probably skip it next time so I can try their other sweet treats like their milk cakes.

We tried the coffee sampler with 4 drinks and 4 treats! The sampler has already predefined menu - we cannot mix and match the drinks or the treats. I feel we should be able to. Service was good Ambience is good you can work while you enjoy the sip of warm or iced drink !!

A little expensive for the size drink you get, but what isn't nowadays! The Yemeni Latte was very good. A nice change of pace from typical Starbucks drinks. Unique flavors. The serving size of the Kanafa is pretty good. Service was friendly and efficient. The cafe looked clean and well kept and had a decent amount of patrons. I'd definitely come back!

I love that the amount of sweetened condensed milk was just right where the coffee didn't end up being too sweet. I do want to point out that the drink didn't seem like the strongest coffee around, and the taste closer resembled tea with a little milk added. I should have gone to the Vietnamese coffee the cashier offered! I also tried a piece of their sour cream coffee cake. Warmed wonderfully, and with just the right amount of sweetness, crispness, and just a little tang from the sour cream. This was terrific, and something I would absolutely get again. The vibe is classic with lots of wood, and plenty of comfortable seating. However, if you choose to take advantage of their WiFi, you are asked to buy a drink first, and then every 30 minutes after an hour. I understand where this comes from, and it serves as a deterrent from someone buying one drink and spending a working day in here. However, it also makes Sweetwaters seem like less of a spot to chill and catch up on Yelp reviews (for e.g.,), as I'd have to set a stopwatch to not break the rules. Final verdict: while the Dragon Eye could've had some coffee flavors, the coffee cake helped bring the experience up. While the vibe is classic, don't expect to sit and work without keeping the drinks coming.

(Turn on your speaker for the vids to get a better sense of the environment.) This place is more like an institutional cafeteria in decor, activity, and high ambient noise with too many hard surfaces making for an unsettling experience. Don't come here thinking you're going to quietly ease into the day with a cup of coffee and croissant contemplating the meaning of your existence. The floor plan at this location more closely emulates its major French-inspired competitor (also corporate South Korean) and a much condensed bakery offering than the Naperville (Ogden Ave.) location. You pick your own goods from various cases and get your coffee at the counter. The counter service has a disjointed workflow and they can't seem to get to the point where you leave the counter with all of your order, having to wait for your coffee or some other item. They then yell out (yes, yell) your name over the background din. You have to go up and ask if they just said your name. It's actually sort of funny, and a bit annoying. I do have to say the food itself is actually pretty good but nothing near what you would actually experience in Paris, but still good, flavorful. The coffee holds up to scrutiny as well. Though Tous Les Jours seems to offer consistently good everyday food quality, this location, overall, due to the noise levels and semi-sterile environment, resulted in an unenjoyable experience--I would not be back to this location as there are too many better alternatives.
