I ordered the I Love Mom Strawberry Soft Cream Cake for pickup on Mother's Day through the app for $48.99 a few days prior. When I arrived in store, I went to the sign that saids "all cake orders-please pickup here" and told the staff member my name. She went to the kitchen and brought out my cake and packed it in a bag with a plastic knife. The I Love Mom Strawberry Soft Cream Cake had three layers of heart-shaped vanilla sponge cake filled with strawberry soft cream and fresh strawberries topped with chocolate covered strawberries. It serves 8, but we definitely got more than 8 servings. It was beautifully decorated and perfect design for Mother's Day. This location is a busy one. Line is up to the door when we walked in. Almost not getting table / seat after paying our food order. I do not know why the owners are letting some people hang out with their laptop running and occupy more space than what they need. They should set them a time limit for their stay or set only certain table to stay if they wont dined. I see at least 2 people each had a cup of drinks only with them.. I ordered a caramel latte, buttered roll (sweet not the ones u would think at the bodega) and a crab sandwich. I didn't care for the crab sandwich but everything else was really good. The selection of pastries was similar to other branches I've been to. I asked for my one savory bread to be heated up when I was checking out, but they didn't tell me I would be 4th in line for heating up the food. It took 10-15 minutes for me to receive it. I think some kind of heads up about the time would be nice if it can't be done within a few minutes. Also, try to avoid coming around noon. I'm an avid fan of Paris Baguette. They have wonderful desserts that are made fresh and aren't too sugary, a cafe that offers specialty drinks, coffee, tea, and a seating area to enjoy the sweet treats. Unfortunately they deserve no higher than 3 stars because EVERY time I come this specific location I have a less than satisfactory experience. The employees never seem to know what's going on. The first time I came to this location I asked about a specific cake and the contents of it (as I was with someone who is allergic to one of the top 8 allergens) and the person who was helping me just told me it was cake and looked at me like I was absurd for asking about what's in the cake. Another time I visited, I ordered a whole cake while in store and then they went to the back and gave me the wrong cake and charged us a dollar more for a cake they had to give us instead after they told us they had the original cake I ordered. After making a mistake you would think they would decide not to charge the extra dollar, but I guess not... I truly love Paris baguette and I rarely have good things to say about this location but it's one of the only few locations on the island and thus I've decided to come here less because of how ridiculous the service is. I've been here at least 5 times and each time I give them a chance to prove me wrong they reinforce why I don't like this location. read more

I came here a few dozen times already ever since they opened. Great convenient location, ample parking and almost everything is available even at 7:30 am. They have a good selection of cakes for all occasions, pastries, bread, desserts & drinks as well as salads, sandwiches & wraps. The mango custard brioche was all stuck to the bag. Who does that? Same with the strawberry cream croissant. Then she hands the bag to my mom (who says thank you, as people who are taught manners do, when things are handed to them), and she just started at her. Absolutely DISGUSTING! I understand personal things happen. People have bad days, but that doesn't mean you take it out on innocent people, and ruin your patrons food. Food that we work hard like everyone else to pay for, to visit your establishment which pays you to be bad at your job. Get it together. The other cashier was lovely. It's really kinda like if you've been to one Paris Baguette, you've been you every Paris Baguette, because the selection is pretty consistent. And although they had run out of more than half of the fresh baked stuff by the time we rocked up in late afternoon, I was happy to find they still had a couple of castella (pictured) left for me. Their mini garlic croissants are delicious, the castella is a sweet, fluffy perfection, and their whole red bean bun has something extra special that I can't describe. 3.5 Stars Finally, a Paris Baguette has opened in Long Island! It's definitely in a great location, in a plaza with plenty of shoppers and a parking lot. It has a huge space with lots of bright lights and is nicely filled with plenty of tables as well as cases of baked goods. We came during the week that opened since I saw an ad that they were doing a BOGO promotion until the end of the week. However, there was no sign of it anywhere in the store so I asked an employee who confirmed it for me. I picked out several baked goods and brought it to the counter but it seemed like the cashiers were still being trained since they didn't know how to input the BOGO deal (or even about the promotion). She had to ask someone who was likely the manager, and then we was told that we were only allowed to use the BOGO on one item out of our entire order, which we'd picked out almost 3 trays full of baked goods. Felt like I got jipped. No complaints for the baked goods, similar to any of the other Paris Baguettes. We heated up the savory items at home, but I'm sure you can ask them to do it in store too. The cashier was a bit slow with packaging so definitely still in training mode but that's fine; she was just ensuring that everything was packed well to go. Also, be careful with opening the glass cases. I opened one and it flew open so quick that 2 of my fingers got jammed within that split second. It started bleeding so I asked the employees for a bandaid. I'm a huge fan of Asian baked goods but I didn't really enjoy my first experience here. We also ordered some croissants and a sugar mochi donut for my daughter to dine in for breakfast. While the croissants were good, the donut was meh. Sadly, my daughter wasn't a huge fan, despite being a donut lover. I've ordered a bunch of pastries for takeout as well and they were fairly good, with the exception of the strawberry donut that was almost inedible because it was even sweeter than the sugar donut. Rule of thumb: don't try anymore donuts! Do try the sweet potato pastry, fruit tart/pastry, sliced breads and croissants though, which are my go-to's! read more

I'm so shocked Paris Baguette has branched out all the way from Korea to Westbury, NY, but maybe it is fitting that the chain moved here since the installation of Ranch 99 down the road clearly shows there's a lot of interest in East Asian food and goods out here. The store is within the Galleria. You walk in right to the area where they have trays and tongs for you to grab things out of the pastry cases. The selection of pastries in the middle focused heavily on the seasonal items they were trying to promote, like the apple donut, and also typically "hot" or "savory" items like cheese croissants and croquettes. The pastry case on the side had more sweet, traditional Korean bakery items. The cake display had a decent selection. The refrigerator section had a mix of yogurt parfait type items and fresh sandwiches. I don't know if it is just because they're still trying to figure out inventory, but I was there around 10AM and the pastry selections and stocking was pretty sparse. There were no wax papers to line the trays with. I grabbed a curry croquette because they didn't have a regular potato croquette. The cheaper, pre-wrapped traditional items like plain cream buns and red bean paste donuts were low or non-existent. My favorite PB item, the green tea roll cake, was entirely out of stock. This might have been purposeful, though. There was plenty of seats indoors, but this is a largely commercial area, and I can't imagine too many people are stopping by at this location for breakfast on a week day. Nevertheless, the staff members were very friendly, and there is a merit to not driving all the way out to Little Neck to get a good Korean bakery cake if you live further out east like me. It also looks like a nice place to sit and take a rest if you get tired from shopping. I wonder if there are plans to bring shaved ice (bingsoo) to the store next summer. read more
