Well...it was good while it lasted. I have always loved Qdoba better than even Chipotle. I stopped there yesterday after a long day at the hospital in Boston. The minute I got to the front door and saw the filthy glass covered in nasty fingerprints and dirt I should have went with my gut and left. I go up to the glass to order my food and get the same Quesadilla I've been ordering from here for the past 10+years. I think I literally maybe got 10 pieces of diced chicken in my tortilla. I wait at the register and not a soul around to ring me up. Finally, someone comes over and hands me my quesadilla off the grill. Doesn't ask me if I want salsa, sour cream or guacamole. So I ask for it. Forgets to give me my cup for my soda. I walk over to 4 different tables before I can even find one that's actually clean. The place was so disgusting filthy. I've never seen it that bad. Every single table had food stains all over it. The trash was overflowing and no one was really doing anything but standing around. This is definitely the last time I'll be going to this Qdoba. I'll head over to the new one in Weymouth! They're spotless and so nice!!!! read more

I saw this Mexican restaurant popping up more and more so I thought I'd give them a try since Mexican is one of my favorite types of food. Located in Quincy, MA, it's a convenient location close to everything. There's also plenty of parking in front of the restaurant in the plaza parking lot. As I walked in and looked at the menu, it reminded me a lot of places like Chipotle in the sense that you create your own meal, selecting off of the list of ingredients and how you'd like it presented, as a bowl, tacos, salad, burrito etc. The restaurant was decent but I actually thought it could have been better maintained and cleaner. I ordered the taco salad with ground beef with an edible bowl. Blahhh it was just okay. I tend to be on the pickier side when it comes to Mexican food so there's that but I won't go back. It was really just okay. The best thing about my visit was the service. Friendly guy behind the counter prepping my food. Nice conversation and great attitude. read more

The aroma smells amazing when you walk in here. Always fresh chicken, peppers or beef cooking in here. I always either go with the beef birria or the adobo chicken in a bowl. Won't be taking my business to this Qdoba location anymore. For about the past year of online ordering food from here, most times there has been some component of my order missing. I used to think they were good here and made peoples' orders correctly. What should have been their last strike was the time I online ordered and once I was home, discovered I had received no rice at all in a bowl after ordering "half cilantro half brown rice". Also, I left them a tip. So it's disheartening to observe employees here who are incompetent and/or unashamedly just don't care about customer experience and/or retention at all. That being said, I am someone who understands the sign of the times that majority if not all of us all overworked, stressed, and underpaid. Let's all be understanding and kind to one another, I get it, and typically go about my days with that in mind. But that does not excuse rushing customers' orders that they spend their hard-earned money on. And if it is due to incompetence, Qdoba should adopt a different hiring process because their vetting process appears to be subpar. Eating out is a privilege and a treat to many people, including myself, so there is an expectation that an order will be made exactly how someone wants it. This location should be particularly ashamed of themselves for their lack of precision in the orders they dish out. And I'm not one to bash, but it should be known there was/is a manager at this location who, when talking over the phone to him to complain about no rice in my bowl the very same day it happened (I still ate it, but it was soppy and disappointing), requested I send him a screenshot of my order/email receipt to his personal cell phone number so he could give me a refund. That should have been a red flag to me, because even during the moment, what he asked of me didn't feel like protocol, and he gave me an attitude throughout the entire call. Unfortunately, I forgot to check if I ever received my refund, as it slipped my mind due to other life events. Shame on me for being fooled and giving them another chance, because today, I picked up my mobile order and, having learned my lesson to check that my order is correct before departing, opened it to discover my side container of chile crema sauce ordered with my 2 bowls was opened, positioned on its side and spilling out on top of the lid of the top bowl inside the plastic bag. Possessing -1 straws for this establishment, I still politely asked if they could replace the lid to my bowl and sauce container. I figured to check if that refund ever did go through while I was still there and already disappointed. Nope. So, again I complained to the on duty manager and easily got my refund. Once I got home and inspected the contents of my bag, unsurprisingly, part of my order was missing for the final time. I will be telling everyone I know to avoid this establishment. read more

On 9/23 around 8 PM, my friend and I ordered food to be picked up from Qdoba at the Pleasant shops in South Weymouth, Massachusetts. I found a 4-5 inch long hair in my quesadilla and almost threw up. A minute or two later, my friend found a hair in her mouth after taking a bite of her salad. We threw the food away and called Qdoba right away. The man (that didn't speak English very well) told me that he was unable to give me a refund, but he would send me my order again. I said no thanks I'd like a refund. He told me he could not give me a refund and to call the next day between 11 AM and 3 PM to speak to the general manager. So, that's what I did. I called this afternoon and the person that answered told me that she was the manager. When I told her my story and asked for a refund, she told me that she had to speak to her boss and would call me back. When she called me back, she told me that in order to get a refund, I had to bring the food in with the hair. I told her that the food was from the night before and I threw it away. She told me that she would not give me a refund without the food and the hair. I asked to speak to her boss, and she hung up on me. SHE HUNG UP ON ME! I looked online for a corporate number to call and all I can find is a phone number that texted me a link with a contact us form attached. I sent the form, but I don't have high hopes for any kind of response. The bill was only $24 but it's the point of the matter. Do not patronize Qdoba. They clearly have hygiene and customer service issues that no one is managing. I have a feeling that the hairs in our food are probably the tip of the iceberg. Go to SANTA FE BURRITO GRILL on Washington Street. The place is clean, they make great food and they are polite. ***Update - Manager Iliana called me and her tone of voice throughout our conversation was very cool and barely polite. She clearly thought that I was lying and told me that in the future, I need to save the evidence if I want a refund. They need the evidence for their "procedures & reports". I didn't realize that a restaurant (and I use that term loosely) needed a procedure that says make sure that your hair does not end up in your customers food. Anyway, lesson learned - if you puke because an employee's hair ends up in your mouth, make sure you scoop it up with the hair and the food and bring it back. Iliana NEVER APOLOGIZED. She gave me a refund for the quesadilla and the salad but not the guacamole or my drink. I guess my refund came out of her pocket. I won't need to save any evidence in the future because not only will I never go into the S Weymouth Qdoba, I will never go into any Qdoba. And, neither should you! read more

One morning while looking to have breakfast that morning I decided to try this Mexican spot because it was close to the hotel where I stayed. Given that the hotel restaurant and ball with inexplicably closed, I tried this restaurant after a quick Google search. The food was delicious as was the Mexican soda available. The prices are excellent and I was fully satisfied with the meals I bought there both times. I ordered for pick up on a Friday night 30 minutes ahead of time and by the time I got here, I only had to wait 5 extra minutes. I got their chicken burrito and that thing was FAT! My burrito was so big the aluminum foil didn't even cover it! Shout out to Qdoba for giving generous portion size... so much better than Chipotle! I love the fact that Qdoba allows you to add cheese or guacamole for FREE if it's inside your burrito/bowl. My burrito was delicious and super flavorful. read more

So, I've been coming to this Qdoba in Braintree since it opened. I was actually there on the opening day because I worked at the movie theatre up the street. I still after all of these years believe this Qdoba has better variety and a better product then Chipotle. I work in Stoughton and 50% of the time find myself driving by the chipotle to go to Qdoba in Braintree because it's so much better run, accurate, clean, and better variety. The employees are nice and respectful. The problem is they are very inconsistent with how they prepare the food. Some times they give you the correct amount while majority of the time they try to give you a quarter of the spoon of rice and a quarter spoon of beans. I swear i had like maybe 7 beans on my bowl. My bowl was all lettuce and like 3 grains of rice for a taco bowl. As my son burrito barely had any food in it and when I told the employees about how inconsistent they are he's like sorry but for extra charge we can give you more. So $10 for a burrito with 4 pieces of steak, a quarter of the spoon of beans and white rice smh! The bowl before me had more food then my bowl. So damn inconsistent. Usually I go here and it is very good. There was some man serving and I swear he loaded our bowls up with salt. So salty it tastes aweful all because I pointed over the glass accidentally and he berated me. Ok update: I actually heard through some other people in my network and one was there eating that night and had the same problem. The food was salty as hell. Made me sick - heart racing salty taste next day sick stomach. I think maybe my bad experience with this employee was just that and he did not put a bunch of salt in the dish it was already there. I thought about reporting you to the Braintree Health department but I don't have time for that. Get your shxx together and don't be serving crap like that. I will never go to your store again. What you would expect from Qdoba. Food was fresh and fast. Staff was efficient and friendly.

This is becoming my go to place. The staff is friendly, they will customize your entree as you want. Menu keeps on improving with new flavors. Last time I went there, I tried the queso diablo - its spicy and that is why I ordered it but it have a Smokey flavor which I personally not a fan of. I wouldn't order that next time but it's just my taste. Free guac.. Yummmm Plus the free chips and queso, can't beat that. read more

We order three burritos. One for each kid and one adults. At check out, the supervisor/manager swapped the burritos and gave the wrong to each child. As my son began eating, he realized his burrito was different and was packed with vegetables and other things he does not eat. I politely approached the supervisor/manager about the issues hoping he would offer some customer service and make another burrito. Instead, he looked at me stone cold, denied it and refused to make another burrito. At that point, I told him I was going to complain. He basically looked at me then said "Ok" in a sarcastic tone as to say, who cares. Then proceeded with his task while my son cried as he ate and choked on the food. Then the supervisor had the nerves to speak to the other employees in Spanish, about the situation, and laughed while my family and I ate. How unprofessional!! My children felt bad. Today, I asked that they cut my kids burrito in half after wrapping with the foil. The supervisor/manager interjected and said no. Every burrito restaurant I have been to, has been able to cut burritos in half. The supervisor clearly showed no empathy nor did he offer some form of apology or customer service. I think this is the first Qdoba I have been to, but I may be wrong. I thought the staff here was excellent - they get 5 stars. I got the pick 2 combo thing and it was definitely enough food. I probably could have split it and been good. I thought the pork and shredded beef were better than the chicken (yes I managed to consume 3 different animals at lunchtime - hello carbon footprint!). For a casual/fast food place I thought the layout was good with lots of different seating options. I agree with some other people that this is a bit pricey for lunch - with a soda (free refills) mine was under just $10. Personally, I only feel it was pricey because I generally spend $4 or less by bringing my lunch or grabbing something small at my work cafeteria. Bottom line: I would come back here for a burrito or some tacos. read more
