This location is getting dirtier and dirtier! The food on the floor in the prep are is disgusting. The staff seems to follow the hand washing and glove protocol but the counter where they slide the food is dirty, the floo around the prep area was FILTHY!, none of the table had been wiped down so the only option is to choose a dirty table and wash it yourself. I'll make this one short. Got there and had to wait in line for 20 minutes because they were out of everything. No chicken, no rice and almost all the tubs were empty. Most of the employees really came off as I'm only here because my parents made me get a job and I'm way too entitled to have to actually work. With the exception of the girl at the cashier position who seemed embarrassed to even be working with the other walking dead staff. She was nice. Let me start off by saying I LOVE Qdoba. Die hard Qdoba fan. However the last 5 times I have gotten Qdoba delivered from this location there has always been something severely wrong with my order. Yet again tonight I got my typical 2 bowls and missing steak & tortilla strips. Sometimes it's the salad or rice missing. They can NEVER get an Uber order right. If you go in person and tell them then it's fine. If you do a mobile order be sure to check your bag because it's like 50/50 on mistakes but Uber is wrong 100% of the time. Had the worst customer service I've ever had, not just in qdoba, but in general. They took a long time to help us when there were 4 employees working, with a line building behind us and didn't even acknowledge us. Then they were "out" of so many things - salsa verde, veggies, sour cream, steak, rice, etc. It's not like they were about to close either, they were open for another 2 hours and just didn't want to cook/prepare more food. There was this manager in a black shirt of the name of Ethan he was very rude and disrespectful to other employees. Completely unacceptable considering he started yelling at them in front of customers. There also an older lady that I have witnessed several times I've been in there try to bring the topic of religion when people don't seem very interested in the topic of conversation. Tried this place twice, won't try a third. First the customer service is horrible. The kid tonight had earbud in the whole time while attempting to hear me speak to him. I had to repeat myself unnecessarily because he clearly didn't learn it's not appropriate to have ear buds in when speaking with people. We hired Qdoba to provide catering for our daughter's small wedding. The order was easy to place, and the team members graciously answered my questions over the phone a few days before. The person making our food sneezed 3 times near the food, none of the food prep areas looked remotely clean and they had no idea what ingredients were in the salsas for allergies. A perennial favorite. The service was first rate as always. The food was of the finest quality, we always feel like Qdoba is a very healthy choice. My burrito was indeed large, but the bulk of it was rice, which didn't pack a lot of flavor in itself. The sauce leaned heavily on the sweet side of barbecue, and the molé flavor was minimal at best, but combined with their Salsa Roja it was tangy enough to help turn the tender pork, black beans, sour cream, and rice into a generally successful team. I did enjoy the soft and chewy texture of the steamed tortilla, which somehow brought to my mind the descriptive term "squeaky", which probably won't make a lot of sense until you try one. My squeaky burrito was fine, but the visit really hadn't left much of an impression on my brain, so I decided to return to Qdoba during dinnertime the next day. The atmosphere behind the counter was considerably more chaotic than on my first visit. The grills were pulled out from the wall and several employees were wiping the inside of the massive hood vents. Located within a strip mall, I'm sure this is like many Qdoba experiences; but as this was my first time eating at one, I'll review it afresh. You choose with you want a burrito, a bowl, tacos, or whatever; you choose the type -- I went veggie, which includes fajitas veggies, and you choose your toppings. Well-priced at $6.95 plus tax. I'm very forgiving with occasional issues and covid-related staffing shortages, but this restaurant takes it to a new level. It's one of the more horribly run stores in the city. Over the past few months, about 50-60% of the time I go to get food, the door has a sign on it that says they are taking online orders only. No indication on google, no way to find out ahead of time. When I get super lucky and they're actually open, the person assembling the food nearly always looks like they'd rather watch me have a heart attack and die in line than actually serve me food. Very occasionally, I see the manager, who seems kind, cheerful, and quite personable. I'm not sure why this attitude is not shared, even in part, by a single one of his employees. All that to say, if you're looking for a place to grab lunch, skip this location. Most likely, you won't even be able to get into the store, and if you do, you'll be glared at as they slop together your food. I recently moved here from San Diego and found this place. I immediately felt it was based on the Chipotle model based on the menu and set-up...and missing my Chipotle, I was happy to find it! The second time I visited, the girl who helped me was very rude and angry. However, I have been back several times since then and she's gone and the service is excellent. Case in point: I visited the other night and there was a lady in front of me practically asking for the guy to split a friggen atom! I was patient because there was no rush for me and I was amused by her various requests. The clerk kept saying "I'll be right with you" and finally it was my turn. The clerk thanked me, gave me my drink for free and gave me 10 percent off for my patience! I was pleasantly surprised! I have now experienced food poisoning twice from this location. The first time was months ago where both my girlfriend and I felt incredibly sick after eating there.
