The food and options are great. Especially if you are wanting something different than Chipotle. Only thing that rubs me the wrong way is the speediness of the staff. Recently we ordered using the Qdoba app. This is easy to do and allows us to skip the line and pick up our food fast. This is the second we ordered through the app and our food was still not ready at the pick up time. I arrived at 2:50pm and didn't leave until 3:10pm. Our pick up time was set at 2:50pm and when approaching the pick up area, our food was not even started. It would be different is the place was overcrowded and had a line out the door, but this was not the case. There may have only been a few people east and no one in line... I walked in before another customer, and they started their order first. They did offer me a drink while I wait as if I was at the doctors office waiting on my results and did apologize but the whole point of ordering through a mobile app is to be speedy. I enjoy this Qdoba as it provides a nice alternative to Chipotle. My wife loves Chipotle while I enjoy a queso option on my burrito. Our happy alternative is Qdoba even though we are rarely in the area for it. This is a great fast casual place for kids as it rarely has a ton of other people in it. My little ones can get a little loud without me worrying about disturbing the whole place. My only complaint is that this place can be a little slow in service. Most of the service i get here is good but I remember a few times where the one worker was slow and prolonged one or two of our dishes. Also their diablo sauce isn't very hot which was disappointing to me. I would go here more if it was near my house. read more

I've been coming to this particular Q'doba for years, and at one point the manager knew me by name. I haven't been able to get back there in quite a while, but I'm fixing that this afternoon when I go pay a Macy's bill. I have seen people compare this spot to another chain, and that really isn't fair. The Other chain is famous for its burritos and pretty much that's it. they have nothing else on the menu other than tacos, and bowls. You CAN get a quesadilla, but put anything other than meat and cheese on it they charge you for a burrito. No. No way in hell. That being said, I always get my standard here, a chicken quesadilla with just about everything under the sun. Then they throw in a salad (lettuce and guac, but oooooh the guac is better than excellent!) and don't uncharge you for it. Add in a side of chips and queso and you've got a mean fit for a prince. This restaurant, and particularly this location, is fabulous. They check all boxes and do everything right. Quality food, good value, highly friendly staff, and great ambiance. Let me break my review down into two categories: Food quality: 5 out of 5 Service: 1 out of 5 If I had to pick a reliable Chipolte rival, it would likely be Qdoba. But as fast casual Mexican is concerned - I have one question: where in the world do they hire such beligerent, surly characters? I think its a policy of all of these places to get people in, woo them with flavors and generous serving sizes. For instance in the past - when ordering guacamole on the side, they nearly fill the side serving cup to the top. Maybe this is something new - I have no idea why but when you return - not only blatantly rip you off, right in front of you by skimping with dinky, literal half measures with respect to portion - but then to openly humiliate you with a diatribe about how they will have to charge you more if you insist on them correcting their miserly Oliver Twist-like "dollopings". We ordered two Carnita bowls, which were fine... until of course, we asked for guacamole. The server, a loud, brash obnoxiously rude personality type, dabbled the smallest amount he could into 2 each 4 ounce side serving cups (we request it on the side in the event that the overripe avocados have been used, which sometimes happens at these places) - and this snarky condescending twerp fills each cup up about 1/3 the way. Of course, when we complained, que the standard "oh I will have to charge you" lecture, done up with all the theatrics today. Do fast casual Mexican restaurant corporations teach this embarrassing, low brow behavior or do they make it a point to hire people who shouldn't be working people in a public setting? "Guac-nazi's", please stop blatantly cheating people. I don't mind paying "extra" for what you've been giving away for free for so long - just don't be such an a**hole about it. Presentation is everything - that goes for the way you explain things to your customers too. Short of that, food quality is usually always top shelf at this location. They certainly have had their days of over and under cooked ingredients, but in my, probably 20 visits to this store in the last 5 years, I would say food quality is great 80% of the time. Amazing service. Workers serve you with a smile on their face no matter what. Very kind and considerate. Me and my dad were sharing a bowl and couldn't decide if we wanted pinto beans or black beans and she gave us the option to do half and half. Also, since we were a sharing she asked if we wanted more rice. The food server and tHe cashier were both incredibly nice and the food is amazing and cheaper and better than chipotle. Definitely a good go-to for after-church eating in the Polaris area. I used to go here at least once a month, and probably limit myself now to about once every six weeks, but it is still great. People compare it to Chipotle and it's really not worth your effort for the comparison. It's yummy. Chipotle is yummy. They're both yummy. What makes Qdoba great is that you can sign up for their loyalty rewards card and then you get points for everything you purchase. And it's not one of those cards that you sign up to get free stuff and once you have one billion points you get a free drink. No. I get a free "something" at least every other time I go. Sometimes it's a free entree, sometimes it's a free nachos and cheese, or sometimes it is just a drink. But it's always awesome. read more

I try queso dip at every mexican and tex-mex place I go and I can't think of a better dip than Qdoba's. I love their Diablo Queso as well! The cheese sauce makes for more variations on burritos and nachos than what you might find at a competitor type of restaurant. Love getting nachos similar to that of a regular sit down restaurant. The white rice has a better taste than chipotle 's. The atmosphere seems a little quieter than most chipolte's and it's easier to hear what is being discussed at the table. read more

Being new to the area I was looking for the go-to Mexican spot nearby. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a very kind African American woman. She was one of the best influences on my experience. The portions and price were exceptional and I loved the selection on food beverages. The woman I mentioned was very engaging and suggestive on food choices. She must have said queso 20 times by the time I left and she made everyone feel at home. I heard a younger boy after he ordered say to his dad "She was awesome." I haven't had many positive experiences at nearby restaurants but this one was so great! Thank you. I haven't been to Qdoba in awhile but woke up craving their medium queso for some reason. It's just as yummy as I remembered! I'm low-carbing it these days so I grabbed a chicken taco salad in a bowl. Normally I'd never put queso on a taco salad but, call it Divine Inspiration if you will, today I did and it was pretty freaking incredible. Every bite was like a hug for my mouth. I have been a fan of qdoba for a few years now and been coming to this location for the past year. I enjoy the fresh and quick Mexican food and have always found the staff friendly and the store clean. It is also refreshing to not get dinged $1.80 to add guacamole to your entree. I discovered a new vegan combo: tortilla soup poured over a burrito, smothered burrito style. I didn't like any of the sauce options they offered for the smothered burritos so I poured soup over mine.. DELISH. Okay I am a huge fan of Mexican, and if it comes as a fast casual option, all the better. Qdoba was incredible. If you compare to its competitors, the flavors at Qdoba are so much better than Chipotle. The meats are seasoned really well and there are some great options. There is also queso, which is rare at a fast casual, but it is SO GOOD. True story. We got the tacos, which were delicious and have set ingredients, but the rest of the menu is truly customizable. I frequently go to Qdoba on Polaris. The staff is always very nice and inviting and I feel like the food is just as good as the more popular burrito joint. One of the major reasons I like Qdoba is the queso burrito options that they offer. Today I opted for the new spicy, bacon queso. It was great to have a new option versus the regular queso. The other thing I like a lot about Qdoba is the way they steam the wrap. To me it makes the entire burrito taste a bit better. I also got the chips and salsa and they provided me with a large quantity of chips so I felt like it was a great value for the money. I will defiantly visit again! read more

My husband loves Qdoba more than their competition and suggested I use them for catering an upcoming event, so we used them this evening for the first time and I am so impressed. The food was delicious but the level of service was worth the 5 stars- I plan a lot of events and never has the catering process been so easy and enjoyable. I worked directly with the owner, Nate--You can definitely tell the culture is efficient, adaptable and accommodating. We had a few gluten free people and they were helpful with those needs and also able to recommend the best way to plan for people wanting tacos and naked burrito bowls/salads. I never felt that my questions and uncertainty were annoying them (which I have felt in the past from other catering gigs). I definitely would recommend everyone check them out and sign up for the rewards. I will say, I ordered for 55 people and we had about 57ppl but 7 were younger kids and we left with some tortillas, chips, salsa, lettuce, rice and beans left over. The meat went pretty quick, so for future we will either dish out the meat or order double. read more

However, after a visit for lunch this week, something has clearly changed for the better. The menu has improved and the service was outstanding.
