My favorite was the kimchi and the honey citrus kale. I liked the yellow tumeric rice. I got the Gochujang sauce which is spicy but nothing crazy. I was in for a treat that I saw it comes with a cup of Miso soup! Only feedback was I wish they offered samples especially since I had never been here before or suggestions. The food is good but this location has the rudest lady working there that always ruins the experience. She followed me to the drink station to make sure I just got water. I have been meaning to try BIBIBOP for the longest time and happened to be running errands nearby and finally took the plunge. I'm so glad that I did! The format is similar to Chipotle or Piada and you can pick a base with a protein, starch, and add veggies. It's an Asian theme with tons of fresh and healthy options. I ordered the purple rice, with tofu, pineapple, purple cabbage, carrots, as well as corn and peppers. I added the yum yum sauce to mine and it was absolutely delicious. They also sell some juices and I got the Aloe mangosteen which to be honest wasn't really my cup of tea. It was just way to pulpy for my liking. I've been to several Bibibops, but this location is probably my favorite. Service is fast, the employees are kind, and it's always been really clean when we've eaten in. Bonus points for the modern look. The food is consistently good. On today's visit I had the salad with spicy chicken and a rainbow of veggies, while my husband had the noodles with tofu. Everything was fresh, at the right temperature and ridiculously aesthetically pleasing. (Seriously, it's like they built the menu with Instagram in mind.) But just a little while later, my order had been "rerouted" by the kitchen, hence there was confusion for the delivery driver. I go to the same 2 bibibop everyday depending on were I'm at for work yesterday I decided to try a different one because that's were I was at, an let me tell u that was a bad decision. Is it bibibop or bibimbop? Slightly confusing name aside, this place is delicious, cheap and healthy and resembles Chipotle more than a traditional Korean bibimbap rice bowl. You can get a massive salad, bowl, or burrito for under $7, and here are the fillings you can choose to include: Rice: white or purple rice (white rice mixed with a little black rice that makes it purple) Base: diced skillet potatoes, black beans, and/or cooked bean sprouts (the potatoes and beans weren't in earlier versions of the menu but seem to have been added to appeal to a more American palate) Protein: regular chicken, spicy chicken, steak or organic tofu. You can get half portions and mix two together. The tofu (lightly fried so chewy on the outside) is far far better than the chicken and I'm a meat eater. Toppings: corn, pickled daikon radish (my fave!), carrots, cucumber, raw kale, lettuce, white cheese blend, and/or egg omelette strips. Sauces: yum yum (a tangy pink mayo), spicy Sriracha, Korean red sauce (hot and sweet with slight kimchi flavor), teriyaki. I'm not a spicy-loving person but I found the Korean red sauce to be very good to add touches of extra flavor, as I went for the more simple teriyaki to cover my bowl. Real kimchi or fresh pineapple (seasonal) can be added for $1 each. TIP: You can try all four sauces as they have a sauce station by the drinks with mini plastic cups. read more

While in town, we got tired of the normal fast food or lackluster chain restaurants that are around the Polaris area. I visited BIBIBOP twice while in town, once I ate in, and once carried out. Both times they were extremely busy but they worked through the line incredibly fast. All employees were happy to answer questions or explain the process of making a bowl. Again, both times the food was delicious and savory. I do think sometimes, they do not portion some of the items correctly (some of the people I was with noted they seemed "stingy"). I was happy each time. The miso soup was alright, it was incredibly hot, even after sitting for 15 minutes. While it wasn't my favorite miso soup, it is free, and nothing tastes better than free! My complaints come into the cleanliness of the restaurant. One of the bathrooms was absolutely trashed, paper everywhere and no toilet paper whatsoever in the stall. There was liquid on the ground and on the mirror. The time we ate in, the tables and booths were filthy with sauce, and different things you could get in the bowls. Plus, they were sticky. I would come here for the food and service , and recommend to a friend. But I would definitely love to see some sanitary standards get higher. read more

I ordered the big bowl and watched the server attempt to put half a spoon of meat. I told him hell no, you need to out more meat. Why else would I get a big bowl?.....for more veggies? I ended up with a cold bowl of beans, rice, corn, shredded artificial eggs. This is not good food people. Stop eating at these places. Its a rip off. I've meant to try Bibibop since they opened in Grandview. I finally grabbed a late lunch at this location, after my hair stylist told me this morning during my appt. how good the food is. My first impression was very good. The crew was seated either having a meeting or just chilling since it wasn't busy. The guy who I believe is the cook helped me immediately and was cheerful. I loved all the selections. I got a bowl, with bean sprouts, sauteed potatoes, black beans, tofu, cucumbers, lettuce, carrots, daikon, and corn. I declined the cheese and egg. Of the four sauce choices, I got Yum Yum. This is probably not the most healthy of sauces, but it made it very tasty and he put just the right amount on my bowl. All the booths were filled with the diners, so I grabbed a high-top by the window and ate about half of my bowl, preparing to finish it later at my desk. The only thing I didn't like was the aftertaste of the sweet tea, probably from artificial sweetener. I know not to get that particular drink again. You can order online, for pickup, which is very convenient. I really liked it and it's a nice change from Chipotle and Piada. It's a lot of food for less money. read more

Maybe I'm biased because there's an amazing make your own bibimbap place in Richmond, VA called Zzaam! that blows this place out of the water but if you're looking for a fairly healthy rice+veggies bowl without much Korean authenticity this would serve its purpose. Be warned though that they put a lot of rice and other carbs (potatoes, corn) in this bowl so it can turn unhealthy real fast. Also I've tried every topping and would recommend skipping the kale or ordering it on the side because it 1) tastes VERY non Asian and 2) has a super strong flavor that overpowers the entire bowl. Traditional bibimbap also boasts an egg which this place sadly doesn't offer though it would seem standard...also lacks true Korean flavors in the pickled dishes. The Korean red sauce is at least spot on but if you're looking to make this even more of the real deal I'd take it home and put some sesame oil and seeds in it :) Also, free miso soup! That's a huge perk!! And the prices are super reasonable. Overall great place for a bite that won't make you feel the guilt of eating out but skip over here if you want something that actually tastes like bibimbap (or even truly Asian at all). read more

Omg I love coming here to get their bowls. They veggies taste so fresh and the rice and meat are always on point. During busy times of the day, the cooks get you in and out so don't drive past thinking you'll be in line a long time. A few minutes at the most. The prices are a bit high BUT you get your money's worth - at least I do. I always have enough leftovers for lunch the next day.
