I enjoy Qdoba so much. My mother, sister and I come here every once in a while for a quick, inexpensive dinner night with my 2.5 year old because it's in the neighborhood. I'm sure we all understand that this is not completely "authentic" Mexican food and I don't know who's going to Qdoba expecting it to be. Regardless, the food is delicious. Never had an issue with it. They have kids meals that come with chips or apple sauce. They also have juice boxes. My son loves their quesadilla and chips. I always get the burrito bowl with chicken and pork. Yum! Especially the pork, so tender and flavorful. The serving sizes are great. My mom loves the tacos. And my sister gets the vegetarian taco salad and said it's really good too! I always bring a taco salad home for my husband as well which he enjoys. The food doesn't ever taste like it's been sitting out and I think it's pretty fresh. Service is always friendly and quick. In the summer they have outdoor seating. My ONLY complaint is that they really need to fix the issue with the cold. I was there last night and it was so freezing that we actually thought about taking the food back to the car and eating there with the heat on. Everyone in the place was eating with their coats on. It adds the crispiness and also doubles as a second bowl. If you receive a taco shell that's lighter in color, it's not as crispy compared to the golden-colored ones, so it can often be a hit or miss. The peppers/onions are quickly cooked with some spices added. The vegetables maintain their crunch and color, which I especially like. Show them your student ID to get a free drink. The lines are usually long, but it goes by really quick. Unless you're there on a Friday evening--then the line is to the door. In terms of seating, I've never had a problem with four people. If you've read this far, thank you. It was made aware to me when I was selecting my toppings yesterday that the policy had recently changed to a 6 limit qty of toppings, down from the previous 9 qty limit. That was a real big disappointment. At least the qty could've been gradually reduced, like from 9 to 8 toppings. I previously limed Qdoba because of its portion and various side selections. THE WORST OF THE WORST I ordered delivery and used Grub Hub for delivery. To start with, it took me four repeated attempts to order what I thought would be a pile of nice crisp nachos with the toppings I wanted. You REALLY have to want something to try to order online from this place. The page is not intuitive, forces choices, and doesn't work. Next: The delivery driver did not know that he was supposed to deliver the food. He sat at the end of my driveway playing on his cell phone till I walked out and got the stuff. Then: Inside I opened the bag expecting a plate like the picture, a pile of nice, crisp, tortilla chips served hot, well prepared with all my meat and cheeze toppings. FAT CHANCE. THE FOOD: What I got was a bag of well crushed, cold chip fragments and a covered saucer of slop. The slop, much resembling the stuff we used to dump from buckets into the pig trough, turns out to be all the toppings and meat, cheese, sauce choices dumped randomly in the cardboard saucer and served cold. I was able to eat it all using a table spoon. I was just too hungry to throw it all out into the street for the racoons, but I think they'd have been offended if I did. It does not get worse. NEVER. In the past, I used to be a Chipotle fanatic, but I was turned off when the whole E Coli outbreak happened. That was when I found out about Qdoba, and have never turned back! How can you beat the Queso and Guac that are INCLUDED in the price of your burrito? Chipotle charges $2-3 for this! Also, your GOT to try the crunchy tortilla shell, which is also at no additional charge. They also give you a hearty amount of food. Definitely worth the cost $8-9 for a burrito depending on the type of meat you get. My ranking of the Southwestern restaurant chains would be: Qdoba then Chipotle and lastly Moes In regards to this specific location, they have good service and are usually pretty fast. However, if you come during dinner time, the line is super long and can take 20 minutes to get your food, so be prepared. If it were not for the long waits, I would give them 5 stars read more

The establishment is located in the Fresh Meadow shopping center which has several other establishments to select from, which is good thing (there is a Applebees, Boston Market, 5 Guys, Red Mango, Starbucks,..) . The establishment is clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly, warm and welcoming. They were well staffed. The dining area is large enough and it does have adequate seating. Just keep in mind it can be busy here and you'll wait a little bit. Ourorders were taken promptly. The service was good. The food came out fresh and accordingly. Its a shame there aren't MORE Qdoba establishments around, as a matter of fact I believe this Qdoba is the only one in Queens, I prefer them over Chipotle, feel that you get more for less. Always love this place. I used to come here a lot when I went to school around here. They give out a free soda with a proof of St. John's ID. Soda is self serve. Unlike Chipotle, which charges you more than $2 for guac, Qdoba does it for free. I only wish there were more Qdobas around. Food here is usually great. They have really great queso sauce. Worst Qboda restaurant... the owner of the Chinese restaurant next-door just bought that Qboda franchise, two months ago, and since then the quality and everything has gone down ever since. The previous owner took care of his workers and made sure they were happy. The portions were amazing and the food was delicious. He made sure that everything was so clean, and that day used proper food handling techniques. I had many discussions with him that the reason I was coming there is because the food was always so clean and fresh, and could always be trusted. I told him that I had ordered from the Chinese restaurant before and some piece of chicken didn't taste very fresh. Being someone who got the Coxsackie virus a few years ago I am very mindful of where I eat, if the place is not clean, I do not eat there or simply throw away the food and not come back. They have a lot of African-American worker at this location which are being pushed out and replaced by Chinese employees. Today there were two newly hired Chinese women ...one was the cashier and the other one was helping serving the food.... I ordered what I usually order and when she was finished, it was about half a bowl compared to an overflowing bowls I would always receive. When I complained, she offered to add a "little bit of rice", but it was missing out on ALL the ingredients not just the rice. They are putting profits over customer satisfaction. They are going to realize that they are going to lose all the clients that the previous owner worked so hard to get The new owners do not use proper food handling technique and do not care whether the customers are happy or not. They are pushing the old workers who are African-American out. They are also very rude while I was placing my order, she was not listening to my answer, and turned around to the kitchen to say something ... Definitely not the way to handle customers.... They will no longer have my business, and I will make sure my friends know as well. The portions are now half the size, they are pushing the African-American workers out, they are rude and they're not using proper food handling techniques.. so no thank you. We got a bowl to go after movies. It was our first visit here. They had a lot of variety of toppings and a great selection of entree choices. Love that they have the option for a taco shell and it doesn't have to be a "salad" but a base for a regular bowl. And queso or guacamole is free to add! The servers were really friendly. They explained everything, since it was not familiar. I like that there are special tacos as well as you can create your own. You can also customize their special tacos too. I am a regular at Qdova in Union New Jersey however I have not been there since covid and I must say that this location has lowered it's standards tremendously. The guy behind the counter had ear plugs on and couldn't hear me and yet their music was blaring making it even harder to be heard. You think the manager would have intervened? As a chipotle lover I think I found a new home. Qdoba is what chipotle should be! The staff is super friendly, the options are greater and the amount of food they give is more substantial. I've been to this Qdoba twice now and both times have exceeded my expectations of what a fast food Mexican chain could be. The brisket meat is by far the best meat I ever had at a place like these, it's smoky and very flavorful. The cheese sauce goes perfect with the white rice and the chips are just salty enough with a huge lime hit. So good on so many levels. read more

I came here after going to carters with my infant. I had trouble going through the door with my stroller and an employee helped me which was so sweet. I ordered a burrito bowl with chicken. Just ordered from qdoba from Door dash and when we got our order done it came quick and the food was so fresh. I got the 1beyond burrito which was huge and that cilantro lime sauce! I absolutely love this place. The Quarantine allowed me to experiment with new places to eat. I absolutely fell in love with the food from Qdoba. I decided, one day, to pickup (rather than accept a delivery). The Fresh Meadow location is so well run. I saw the team work so well together. I saw them deal with very rude customers and yet we're able to treat me with warmth and efficiency. I don't know who the manager is but he/she should train other restaurants on how to properly run a customer friendly business. read more
