I recently used Qdoba to cater a work event, and they made it such an easy experience! From ordering online to picking up in person, everything was smooth and well thought out. I especially appreciated how clear Qdoba's website was regarding pricing. Each catering package was clearly marked with what it included and its specific price, but you were also able to customize the order and leave notes for the workers. When I picked up the order, I was a bit worried because it was a LOT of food! Thankfully, several workers offered to help me carry the bags out to my car. They were super friendly and made sure I was happy with the order. A worker even emailed me afterwards to make sure I was satisfied. Besides the excellent customer service, the food was delicious. It was fresh and warm, and my team was thrilled with the option to customize their own bowl. Everybody loved how many toppings there were: meat, beans, rice, different salsas, guacamole, sour cream, a huge bag of chips, and more! I ordered what the website said was enough for about 10 people, but we ended up having a ton of leftovers. Also, if you return the metal meal warming racks to any Qdoba location after catering, they will give you a voucher for a free meal! read more

Such a great experience with the catering. 100% better than other Mexican places. They even gave us sour cream and guacamole, which is extra cost at other places. I have not been here for years. Thought I'd give it a try. My salad was nothing special. The fajita veggies were undercooked. The spicy dressing tasted like mayonnaise with spice. I mean, well it is a chain and not my hole in the wall usual Mexican food jam. But it was close, inexpensive, and expedient. We chose it over the Chipotle across the street because Qdoba doesn't charge you for each add in, which when you have a teen with a condiment issue is pretty nice. My kid still added extra things, of course, which does cost more. We got the two rice bowls. And water. Mean mom. The teen ordered better than I did- chicken, pico de gallo, lettuce, cilantro lime rice, tortilla strips, guacamole, sour cream, queso, cheese, black beans, probably extra cheese and chicken knowing my kid. I wasn't paying attention tbh. Crazy week this week. My bowl had pork, corn salsa, black beans, brown rice, queso, sour cream, guacamole, cheese, and (pretty much raw) " fajita veggies" which were big chunks of onion and green bells. No red bells which is what I was hoping for. Sigh. It was WET and somewhat bland. Not my favorite. For being a gold member, I get 2$ chips and dip everyday, as it says on my rewards card account. I come often so I earned a free entree..when getting a couple entrees they wouldn't let me get the 2$ chip that says everyday, since I was redeeming the free entree. Mind you, I've earned at least 11 free entree's in the past year , which means I spent over $1375 here in the past year. Kind of bummed that $2 chip and dip everyday, doesn't mean everyday when you're a loyal customer. The people are great, super friendly. The food is great...we have Qdoba night once a week for dinner. TL;DR: I'm amused. Well, this was an interesting one. The boyfriend and I had a late night of errands and around 8:30pm, were starved. Qdoba is our go-to so we set off to get ourselves some yummy tacos and burritos! We pull up at 8:45pm and to our dismay, the place looks closed. Lights off, mats away, signs pulled in, everything. I check Google and it says they are open until 10pm, confirmed just a few days ago by the store itself. Puzzled, I call and ask! Someone answers and very pleasantly confirms they are open until 10pm. We hear in the background a groan and swear word. So the boyfriend and I walk over again and see 3 other customer walk in before us. We go in and all the food is put away! Lights still off, rags out for wiping down everything, and no other customers except two teenage girls sitting at table, and the guy who walked in before us. There are three guys behind the counter (all look about 17). The guy who helped us (sorry I didn't get your name! Tall, maybe French accent?), was very kind and pleasant. He pulled all the food back out for the customers in front of us and started doing our order. The other two gentlemen working there were very obviously more interested in talking with the girls at the table. They dejectedly made our food, but were nice about it! Didn't slap things together but we could tell that we maybe interrupted something. We got home with our food and sadly, it wasn't the standard we are used to. My tortillas were stale and the chicken was cold. The burrito and chips were good though! Shout out to the very nice and professional guy who helped us, sorry to the other two for interrupting whatever plan you had going there. Well, it was less bad in some ways than the one on Griffith. That's hardly a ringing endorsement. We went all the way up there in hopes of Qdoba fundamental goodness in a better situation. While the food was pretty fair, the place showed a lot of evidence of poor management. They whined that they couldn't put beans and rice on the quesadilla, that it messes up their machine; wonder how it is even the Griffith location can manage that and this one can't. I watched as someone dumped a new supply of entirely too much white rice in the warmer, spilling some right into the brown rice; no one cared. While the floors were all right, the preparation area was just a mess. Grated cheese all over. Stuff, not just rice, spilling from warmer to warmer. A sign saying they were out of guac, even though right behind it one could see a container full of it. Stuff piled in the bag fairly random, fell over immediately. Bags of chips and queso, half chip crumbs. It all screamed that management was asleep at the wheel. We definitely wouldn't go all the way up to Tanasbourne for this again. read more

I've always loved it when a work event had the budget to get QDoba catering for lunch! I had never been to a store location until today, when I happened to be near the Allie location in Hillsboro (Streets of Tanasbourne). I ordered the Cauliflower Mash bowl w/ chicken because I usually enjoy these low-carb type of alternatives to rice. However, when I got home and into the bowl, I found that it was not a mash at all, but rather 4-6 whole and partial chunks of just straight up cauliflower. Weird. And not very appetizing. I thought maybe I misunderstood, but I looked up the description online and it really is supposed to be a blended rice-like product: "QDOBA's Mexican Cauliflower Mash is a low-carb alternative to rice, made with fresh cauliflower that is oven-roasted in-house daily and blended with sour cream, fresh cilantro and pico de gallo." Key word = BLENDED. Everything else was pretty fresh and tasty. Failure on the cauliflower "mash". read more

This restaurant is by far better than Chipotle. My favorite is their surf and turf bowls. Usually they are generous with meat portions, and I love the flavor of their rice. It's more expensive than chipotle, but i think it's worth it to go either way read more

Qdoba keeps improving during the same time that Chipotle has become mediocre. At Qdoba, the guac and salsas are now tasty and the new sweet/spicy chicken is terrific. Chipotle offers a quesadilla that is actually just a wadded up, flattened burrito with too many folds, crammed in their kids meal box, while Qdoba offers a traditional one-fold quesadilla with a lot of options! Tonight i ordered a "create your own" quesadilla and a "create your own" bowl with a side of queso, via Doordash. Every time i have ordered from Qdoba my order has been fulfilled accurately and delivered on time - which are two things i have not been able to rely on Chipotle for. Everything tasted great. I will choose Qdoba over Chipotle every time. read more

Dear Qdoba, I understand that we're in unusual times right now. With that said, if a customer orders one of your "bowls" through a delivery service....are we supposed to eat it with our hands? Or would it make sense to include some sort of utensils (and napkins)....especially when it's being delivered to my office. My Chipotle replacement. Their chicken was better than Chipotle's, but the shredded pork is pretty bland. It's just cooked pork - no flavor. The Pick 2 Combo for $5.99 is great for lunch. I'm new to the area from California and really miss my El Pollo Loco. I didn't think I'd be able to find a quality To Go Mexican place like that. Well, I was introduced to the QDOBA downtown and found out they had a location in Beaverton too. I'm SO GLAD I FOUND THIS PLACE! Their food is so flavorful and fresh. The employees at this location are pretty awesome too, I only had one experience with a girl who was awfully stingy with the portions and attitude. The food definitely makes up for it. Their Adobo Chicken is SO GOOD. It's a little pricey for some things, but not tons of choices so this is definitely my new Go To place. Love it! read more

I've been into this place probably 65 times, I order almost the same thing every time constantly, and today I got told I couldn't order that anymore. What's my order? a tin of chicken something on the menu but You can't order online because there's no option. the manager a short frumpy grumpy old guy, is the one who told me. Any time I order and he's the guy I order from I get a attitude and rude treatment. Anyone else is happy and friendly. Food is always good that's why this is a 2 star because everyone else for the most part is great the manager needs to be fired. He complained you can be doing this any more you have to order online. Since I work in the mall I spend a bit too much time at Qdoba. But when your options are really limited, I tend to make it to Qdoba once a week. Okay, I will be totally honest... the food isn't fantastic. But it's good. And it's fast. And this place has some of the nicest people working here. A hello every time you walk in and a smiling face. It's a nice break in the day. And I'm a big fan of the chips and queso. Especially when it's in nacho form. A delicious and affordable alternative to your regular fast food, Qdoba has been a great lunch spot for me. They offer a lot of traditional fare, and their meat options are grilled. I love their chicken soft tacos, and just one leaves me satisfied. Their Chips and Warm 3-Cheese Queso is a spicy snack for a pick-me-up. I've even tried their Vegetarian Taco Salad and been very pleased. They have about five different salsa choices too!
