Quboda isn't too bad. I like their chicken burritos, but to me there's something about their queso dip with chips. I always order the chips and queso. Winnahs! As for the rest of their food, I mean ain't like it's homemade, but it's not too bad for a chain. At least you will always leave full. They're usually pretty friendly as well. I just have to say this. The menu here (the actual menu up on the wall that you are supposed to use to order food with AND their on-line menu) is the most confusing worthless menu design ever. You can't simply walk up and pick something. Then, when you do order, the ordering experience is exactly the same as Chipotle. Even if you play along and ask for one of the "signature flavors", they still walk you through the same 20 questions to make it. You're better off ignoring the menu and looking down at the ingredients they use and just making it up with them as they go down the line. Why is this annoying to me? Because someone tried really hard to impress people with that menu and instead they produced a slightly more confusing version of Chipotle. I've seen a few of these around town but last night was my first chance to actually try them out. My date and I were the only ones there but it was about 8:30 so kind of late for most of the diners I guess. I felt the place was a cross between Baja Fresh and Subway with the way you order and then they ask you what fresh ingredients you want on your burrito (which was HUGE by the way). The prices were reasonable and they even had cold bottles of Corona to accompany the meal. Once seated the first thing I noticed was that all the ingredients were still kind of in separate little pockets. One bite might be all beans while the next was rice with a tiny bit of pico de gallo. Plus the burrito really wasn't that hot temperature wise. I think the whole thing might have been better if they had spread the ingredients out a bit and somehow warmed everything up before adding the cold ingredients like the pico and corn chile salsa. As one Yeeper stated, "if you want a step up from Taco Bell...head to Qdoba!" I'll give this place another try as I discovered there is one not far from work, but over all I would probably pick Baja Fresh over these guys. read more

This is my goto place after Chipotle for a quick mexican fix. I love the mexican gumbo dish at Qdoba which is a change from the usual burritos and burrito bowls at Chipotle. The gumbo is more like a tortilla soup yet has all the ingredients of the burrito. The grilled chicken is a little better at Chipotle though in terms of flavor. Also, i find that the Chipotle right across the street is pretty crowded during the dinner hours and if you are in a hurry you can grab something quickly here. read more

I ordered Qdoba through Grubhub for a company meeting and this was the feedback I received: "The food was so bland, there was no salsa just one small guacamole and the feedback I have received from people has not been positive. People said it was too dry and cold, there was no lettuce, tomatoes or limes. The tacos consisted of a tortilla with meat and that's it. Even the nachos were a disappointment. There was food left over, but that's because the quality of the food was so bad and was placed in the breakroom. Staff have requested not to order from there anymore." I agree with Shaun C. The menu is quite confusing and all you need to know is Pick 2 combo. For the price you pay, you get pretty good amount of food. Other than that, except for some special dishes, everything is very similar to Chipotle. Food is eh at best. I would rather have chipotle. So, I go to qdoba often and on this day I was hanging with some friends. We were all hungry and I recommended going to qdoba. The food was great as usual, but the service...not so much. It was some highschool boys and they weren't the most professional. My friends and I are in 8th grade btw. We got kids meals. I got the taco one and the way it was on the plate was so messy. I got guac on the side and it was all over the cup and on the taco. All the stuff inside the taco was all over the plate. It was my friends first time there and she got the quesadilla kids meal and she asked the employee "any reccomendations?" And he replied with "um... chicken..." like ???? Overall, the food was great, you get a lot for $5. I like that you don't have to pay extra for guac unlike some places...*cough cough* CHIPOTLE. The employees weren't extremely rude but could've been better. I will be coming back because I love the food and it's affordable but the service could've been better. I asked for veggies not cooked because the cooked veggies were saturated in burnt cooking oil that is known to be carcinogenic. Troy was extremely rude. I asked politely again and mentioned that other Qdoba locations would give me the raw veggies in the burrito bowl. Troy wanted to know who these other Qdoba locations were -- so that he could report them. This location has been giving me the raw veggies for over 2 years until this manager showed up. I've tried Qdoba a lot of times now mainly because I keep getting coupons that make the place ridiculously cheap for a quick carryout and at the same time, keep racking up points on my Qdoba Rewards card that give me free burritos. I keep thinking it will get better, that I'll try something new next time. But it never does- it continues to have a bland, unsatisfying/unfilling taste that falls short of its competitor Chipotle across the street. The first time I went here, I literally had two of the veggie burritos because I simply didn't get full nor was I happy with the taste. I later decided to never do this again- each burrito had 900 calories. The second to the ridiculously high "numberth" time I went here, it was the same story. I got the veggie burrito, which I never came to like. There are two types of burritos- one with grilled veggies and one with guacamole (yeah, no burrito with both without paying extra, kind of disappointing). This time though, I decided to pay the extra and get both the veggies and the guacamole (really taking this burrito to the next level). The result? Nothing to really savor or remember. Really, there's no point eating here. The 900 calorie burrito is a waste of money as well as 900 calories, which is equivalent to at a little more than two bean burritos at Taco Bell or one burrito at Chipotle. No wonder Chipotle is always so much more packed than Qdoba whenever I stop by. read more

I placed a curbside pickup order today using the Qdoba app on my Iphone. I've done this before with no issues and it's fast and easy. However today wasn't as easy! We sat outside the store in the pick up location for 10 minutes with a clear view of the three employees. The app asks for the color and make of my car and it's obvious we're out there waiting (the only vehicle mind you) in plain view! No one came. Eventually I went into the store to get my order. When I asked why my curbside order wasn't brought to my car the employee asked me if I'd call to say I was there. The app doesn't tell you to do this otherwise I would have! And I've never had to before. They either need to hire more efficient employees or update their app read more

Ordered through Grubhub, a grilled steak burrito but they forgot to add the steak. It was after business hours for the restaurant when I received my food so I contacted Grubhub about the issue this morning. They contacted the manager or whoever and he supposedly asked the cook that was working the night before. Apparently the cook (they used the word chef but I refuse on principle) remembers my burrito from last night and that he explicitly put steak on it. I still have over half of the burrito because it took me a few bites to figure out the critical error. I imagine they could examine it for themselves but I suppose they could claim I picked the steak off so I guess we'll need a laboratory to test for bovine proteins. Sadly we were disappointed to say the least ordered a burrito with extra steak only got 8 pieces of steak in the entire burrito which mainly contained rice. No Gucamole that we ordered or queso. My report to Washington County with regards to this location: Sick employee with a visible leaking nose onto food. Employee spitting on food while talking (unintentional to be sure, but management should know better and reassign this individual) Work station was cross contaminated. Employees were visibly using cleaning surfactants and sprays near cooked food during serving times. There is a visible large intentionally disfigured black coated pan that is peeling teflon and is used to cook vegetables. The location is absolutely disgusting. For the general public. DO NOT EAT HERE. Management needs to be reviewed by the county health department and location needs to be shut down and cleaned before continuing service. I absolutely adore their breakfast burritos. Their 'spicy sausage' is awesome and their red sauce accompanies them well. Lunch fare is mediocre. Steak is the best choice for burritos or tacos. Now the reason for 2 stars. The service. I went in one morning, excited for my breakfast burrito as it's only a now-and-then treat. I causally asked why their 'spicy sausage' isn't labeled chorizo. The man preparing my food literally stopped what he was doing, put his serving utensils down and with a hateful glare responded 'Because that's what MY people call it.' I think I went into shock. Jaw-to-floor kind of moment. I've never been spoken to or even looked at the way this dude did. I still can't believe that happened and it's been over a year since that fateful day. I have been to Qdoba before, never this location and I was thoroughly impressed. They welcomed me warmly an immediately it felt like a family restaurant. The only thing I would change is the menu, it's not the easiest thing to understand, that is where they could take a play from Chipotle. They include chips with each order which is better than Chipotle, plus while I was eating one of the associates brought me a food sample of the new queso dip nice touch. I've been eating at this restaurant for so long with no problems. Worked in the mall for 5 years. It's the only quick place walking distance so it's great. I bought lunch here set it in my store and conducted a business conversation at a table back at the restaurant. I was rudely kicked out by the manager telling me this wasn't a conference hall and that I wasn't welcome here. Guess I'll take my $40 plus a week on qdoba and bring it to chipotle. I don't understand how hard it is for them to apply a coupon. I took my friends to try it out as they had received a coupon for free burrito with purchase of any entree. We paid and they still charged us for the burrito. When we went up to manager he explained we had to "show coupon before." My friend had came and sat down with her order and stated they had also charged her for burrito and she went to explain to manager and he was so RUDE and said "One coupon applies" since we were sitting together.
