They were hot, I suppose, so that was a plus, but this wouldn't be the item that would bring me back. As for the cheeseburger, it seemed like it was having a bit of an identity crisis. Was it going for a smash burger? Something in the middle range? It was hard to say. And the cheese? It was also trying to decide if it wanted to melt or stay intact. Overall, I don't think I need to visit this incarnation of Steak 'n Shake. I'll just think back on the fond memories of the 80s and 90s (and their outstanding commercials)
