The food quality here seems to have been slipping for quite a while while the prices go up. The burritos are all rice, not enough meat, and the meat doesn't seem to be very hot either, lukewarm, which is not fun to eat. I had not been to a chipotle in years. I'm usually not near one, but I had the same exact burrito I would order at Qdoba at a chipotle yesterday and it was nine dollars and change versus $13 and change at this Qdoba location. There's no way I'm spending $13 on a burrito for lunch or dinner unless it's at a true Mexican restaurant and it's smothered with green chili. Come on now. read more

Service was horrible by the middle age brunette woman between 8:00 PM -8:07PM 08/17/2023. I am brushed off and treated as a joke when I asked, if tortilla strips were gluten free? she responds I don't know so I asked a more simpler question; if it was corn based like corn tortillas? she responds yes. I have a severe gluten allergy known as celiac disease which is dangerous. I am glad my gut says other wise when I looked at the chart after receiving them. they need to focus on people rather than giving petty rations (I had gotten an attitude to receive a bit more; rice thankfully the nice young man had served me more) and unknowledgeable about the food their employees are serving. We love Qdoba but this experience was so painful. I'm also usually a patient person, but I waited in line for 10 mins before it was my turn. But there were only two people ahead of me when I came in! There Were 3 people working behind the counter and it was at 2pm. The line was literally up to the door when I left! We got 3 bowls and the portions were so tiny compared to what we're use to. For instance there was about 2 tablespoons of guacamole and a small sprinkle of shredded cheese in my bowl. The jalepeno salsa was out and so I got the last 3 drops from the container. The queso to rice portion wasn't right for my son's bowl. It was too dry since the rice soaked up all the queso from the tiny scoops in the bowl. Bummer. read more

I eat at this Qdoba at least once a month, sometimes more. There is a woman who I think is a manager, she's always there in the daytime and usually not very friendly. Well, I just left after eating the worst meal I've had there. I asked for a scoop of the tortilla soup on my bowl (gives it great flavor) and she started putting so much in that it spilled over the sides and I was trying to tell her only 1, but she was in such a hurry she wasn't paying attention. So now instead of a bean a rice bowl with a tiny bit of soup, I had soup with a tiny bit of beans and rice. She slapped a lid on it and on I went, annoyed cause there was several people behind me so I didn't want to have them remake it. Well, it spilled on the table, and all over my shirt. I get that working fast food sucks, but please, listen to what people ask for and pay attention. If I had been wearing white, I would have gone full Karen on her, but instead I ate what I could scoop out of the soup, wiped my shirt multiple times and left. I generally like QDoba but his location is just awful. Been here a couple times now, expecting my last visit was a fluke but after a handful of times I have learned that it's just really poorly managed. Place is always a mess, employees standing around chatting while the lines are long. Today was the topper when I walked in and there was a handwritten sign that no joke said "chicken for online orders only". Thinking I must be misunderstanding what they are tying to communicate I asked "so i can't order a chicken burrito because I'm here?" And the kid at the counter replied "Yep", so I walked out. Not sure why that would possibly be a policy, but it's ridiculously laughable and borderline insulting. There is a reason this place a tons of 1 star reviews. Wow, this is a continuous issue here, I went to get breakfast today at 7:30 and there was no one there, doors were locked. There was 3 other groups of people that came as well after me, I did see 1 employee in the building, which I will say he was very polite, as I was knocking and knocking with my 2 children, he came and apologized and said he was just the cook and there was no one there to open the store. Ordered via GrubHub. My husbands burrito was missing about half of what he asked for. My burrito was pretty much rice and black beans. I asked for rice (WAY too much), black beans, chicken (only about 3-4 pieces, extra pico (there was NO pico), extra cheese (there was a little bit at the bottom) and sour cream (there was none). Just because we're are not standing in your face watching you make our food, doesn't mean that you ignore the order. We're still paying for this. Pay attention and do what you're getting paid to do, because there are A LOT of people that need jobs and can fallow instructions. I understand times are very different right now, but you still have to do your job. Very disappointed. We will not order take out from here again. If I could give Zero stars I would for management only and one manager in particular. The manager or GM (Lady, starts with an M) is awful. Down right terrible customer service and all the time too. Rude, short, doesn't listen and just gives off "hates her job" attitude all the time to customers. Wont fix mistakes or even handle phone calls if there is an issue. I've been meaning to post a review since this happens every time she helps us and was hoping a recent visit would change my mind and it would be better. Nope. No change in attitude. The food was mostly good but there is a lot that's just wrong. The Crusted Quesadilla was not made as advertised, but instead with minimal/nearly no cheese crust, there was no Briskett AGAIN, and the Chips and Queso consisted of 1/3 of a bag and 3/4 cup. All the meat bins and the peppers bin were near empty. All this on a Friday night at 5:45 when there was only one person in front of us, but there were eleven in line when we left. The last time I went I walk in and I felt in Mexico, It smelled SO good!!! The people that make the food are so nice and they make your meal so delicious. I went in with a friend to try and use the catering racks for a free burrito. Not even 5 seconds after we walk through the door the manger comes yelling at us in front of all the customers saying he won't take those and basically telling us to get out. Super embarrassing and extremely rude customer service. Ended up going across the street and spending our money at Chick-fil-A. I love Qdoba. Qdoba has the finest burritos in town. Most of the time, I order a burrito when I go. I like the variety of burritos. You can get beef, chicken, brisket, impossible meat, and more. You should try a brisket burrito with barbecue sauce or a chicken burrito with queso. Not only is the food great, you always go away full; sometimes I have leftovers. The atmosphere is unmistakable. There is always great music from Latin countries. The walls are full of murals and pictures of food. The tables are always sparkly clean. They must wipe them and sweep as soon as you leave. Most of all, the service is incredible. The people who help you are always friendly. You order your food made-to-order and watch it being prepared right in front of your eyes. That kind of service ensures your order is on the money. If you go enough, you are eligible for free food when you check in with their app. You may think Chipotle is the best burrito place, but you should give Qdoba another try, if you haven't tried it already. Here in Colorado, we sure are spoiled as far as big, gourmet burritos and other faux Mexican food items go (as well as great authentic Mexican food). We have Qdoba and Chipotle, or as I like to call them, El Coke and El Pepsi, because I am always blown away by people's loyalty to one and irrational hatred of the other. They're not that different people... Anywho, Qdoba is the slightly more bland, mainstream sibling of Chipotle. However, it is by no means bad. For one, some Qdoba's (not this one) offer breakfast burritos, which I must say, are a reason to get up and go in the morning. Egg, potato, cheese, chorizo and salsa in a perfectly sized tortilia (the small one that is). Qdoba also has the ever-tasty queso sauce, a nice addition to any burrito. My biggest complaint is that Qdoba's salsas are kinda weak sauce (har har) and not as good as Chipotle's flavorful and very powerful salsas. What Qdoba lacks in tastebud smacking power, it makes up for in menu diversity. People here in Denver may always be divided on which burrito joint is superior, but I say that both factions are worthy of our support. The big-ass burrito truly is a symbol of Colorado. read more

Service is hit or miss depending on the day, but our orders (both dine in and take out) have always been accurate. I don't mind a gut-bomb burrito every now and again, but whatever you do, do not go to this location at or around 12:00 pm during the school week - the place is infested with high school kids. I went with some coworkers the other day and I've never waited in line so long at a Qdoba before. The food was okay like it usually is, and I guess consistency is a good thing.
