Love Firehouse Subs! We used to always frequent this location and then for some reason we switched to Jimmy Johns, and wow that was a mistake. The sandwiches are Firehouse use high quality meats and cheeses, the produce is fresh and the bread tastes like real bread (not that weird bread you used to get at Subway). Tuna is my go-to sandwich and this one was very fresh, not fishy at all. My husband had the Club on a Sub, with a side of Mac and cheese. It was yummy! Their prices are also very reasonable! The large sandwich runs you $13.00 for a very big sandwich + a pickle. At Jimmy Johns you would pay $17.00 + $2.00 for a pickle! Overall we had a great experience at Firehouse this time around. Food was good, Went during a busy time, as a former employee of fast paced to go businesses I understand the stress of a rush. Patiently waited for my order, there were several orders in front of mine and I was in no rush. As I was waiting, I kept hearing the guys getting frustrated every time someone didn't hear their name called the first time. Kept hearing "Jesus Christ" and "oh my god" over again when the customers were simply out of hearing or had 6 kids to take care of. So when they called my name I was quick to grab my bag and go. When I got home I realized they forgot my salad I paid extra for, and normally when this happens I kind of shrug it off because I don't care enough to go get it. But I was pretty frustrated because if they were gonna have an attitude if you didn't pick up your order the second your name was called, then at least have the order right. I went back and calmly spoke my feelings to one of the guys and you could tell they were too stressed to care. But I wanted to leave this review because when I worked in customer service, I was taught to be patient and nice with all customers even during rush hour and this was the first place where the employees seemed more impatient than the customers were. read more

I don't think I can ever go back to subways after eating here. The sandwiches here are top tier: both appearance and taste. I ordered the Firehouse Meatball and the flavor was so explosively wonderful I (somewhat) regret getting a size small. Actually, I was full from eating the size small, so that says a lot about the quantity of their subs. Anyways, it really made me want to live multiple lives simultaneously so that I can try all of the sandwiches all at once. I even liked my boyfriend's Beef and Cheddar Brisket and even though it was slathered in bbq sauce which I'm meh with, I still ended up liking it a lot. I don't typically review chain restaurants, but this place is so good it deserves it. If I could give firehouse subs 10 stars, I would! I will say I have had especially great luck in terms of consistency at this specific location. I have been to other locations that definitely had quality issues, but this spot comes through every single time. I used to go to a competitor sandwich shop nearby, and firehouse has converted me, now I will only go to firehouse. The reason I love it so much is that I order a vegetarian sandwich, and they LOAD it up with veggies and toppings so you don't feel like you are missing out on flavor, or that you won't feel full. Lots of other sandwich places assume since you're a vegetarian you don't want substance, not firehouse! The ingredients are always fresh, and there is an awesome selection to choose from. I typically do their online order system so I don't have much to say about the service, except my order has always been ready by the time I am quoted online. I have heard nothing but great things about Firehouse Subs. So I was excited to see a location opening up close to where I live. We have been waiting for this location for open for quite some time. We were actually wondering if was ever going to open. It finally opened September 4th! On our first visit the manager actually came around the counter and explained the whole Firehouse Subs offerings. They do not offer small subs, just medium and large. You can actually double the meat on your sandwich, if you are so inclined. The manager was very nice and had a sense of humor to boot. I tried the Pork and Slaw sandwich on my first visit. Pulled pork, slaw, cheese, and a sweet mustard on a King's Hawaiian roll. This is one of their limited time offerings and it was delicious. The prices are a little higher than some of the other sandwich shops nearby, but they pack on the toppings. The amount of meat you get for the price is definitely worth it. We actually went back again two days later and I tried the medium meatball. It was delicious and they definitely did not skimp on the meatballs. One of the things that the manager explained on our first visit was they toast the bread and steam the meat separately. This prevents the bread from getting soggy and gross. On my next visit I plan on trying the Turkey Bacon Ranch sub. This is usually my go to sandwich at other sandwich shops. The decor of the shop is very firehouse oriented. I like the Dalmatian spotted tables. They also offer a variety of hot sauces with a scale of 1-10. On our first visit we rounded the total of our order to donate the change to their charity. You can also buy the 5 gallon buckets that the pickles come in for $2 and the proceeds go to the charity as well. Oh, I also forgot to mention every sandwich comes with a pickle spear. I love pickles! They are like a palate cleanser at the end of my meal. I am glad that opened a location nearby and I plan on trying more of their sub offerings. 5 stars for a sub chain? I've tried different locations - so far all have been clean, friendly, and helpful. But I absolutely love the sandwich I've had here. I've only had the Italian sub. Other sandwiches look and sound good, but it's my favorite sub from any chain, and it is so good I've never wanted to order anything else here. I order it the default way, just requesting to add banana and cherry peppers. It comes lightly toasted and warm. I usually get the large - too much to eat, but I ask for it cut in half and have leftovers. This sub is huge, full of meat and toppings, with an Italian seasoning added that is fantastic. Decent selection of chips, they have the Coke machine that lets you select you exact drink, and they all have a huge selection of hot sauces. Note - I like spicy, but I don't add any of these to the sandwich and I'd recommend eating it the default way first unless you really don't like one of the toppings. Also - the store has a good app for ordering in advance for pickup. It had rewards that seem to add up pretty quickly for free food. If you like Italian style subs/meats, you should definitely give this a try. read more

Extremely unhappy with this place. This is the only firehouse by me and I still live about 20/25min from it. So I ordered online PAID for it online got an email confirmation that It was accepted and it was to be ready at 12pm. My boyfriend drove all the way there grabbed our order that was sitting there and as he was starting to walk away someone yelled "it needs to be paid for" so he told them no it was paid for online showed them the email and they said sometimes their computers just decline things. BUT IT WAS STILL MADE. How is something declined but STILL MADE!!!!! I called and they wouldn't let me do payment over the phone. LET ME TELL YOU I love being welcomed by like every person when I walk in the door, "welcome to firehouse" it's seriously the cutest thing ever. Every employee I have had the pleasure to be helped with are the sweetest! This is my favorite location and I always tell everyone to come to this one. If you dine in the service is amazing, they check up on you, even when you're waiting on your food they start up a convo on how your nights going. Every time I come here it's super clean too. I've rated FH a three because on this occasion I tried the small subs. They advertise at $3.99, but there is only one at that price. The rest are all $4+. I ordered the steak and cheese and after paying $4.96 I received a small sub that was barely a sub worth $2.00. C'mon man. Don't buy the small subs. Another corporate ploy to to make money by attracting you in a a fallacy of advertising. I will not be trying the small sub again and may just keep my business elsewhere. I am really disappointed that I have to write a negative review for a chain that I remember liking in years past. The on-site service was very friendly, but my problem was with their fulfillment system with online orders, and customer service when we called with an issue. I ordered an Italian, which states that it comes with, "Genoa salami, pepperoni, ham, melted provolone, Italian dressing, and seasonings, served Fully Involved." My fiance wanted NO sauces or dressings and instead wanted oil and vinegar. You are given the option to add and remove toppings using check boxes, so I removed the Italian dressing and added the oil and vinegar. There were several choices listed that were not listed in the ingredients list so I ignored those. When I arrived at the location, before I paid for my order, the cashier read the ingredients I had selected, which included no Italian dressing but added oil, vinegar, and a couple veggies. There was no mention of any additional ingredients. The ingredients list on the outside of the to-go bag matched the ingredients read off by the cashier. When I got home and my fiance looked at his order, he saw that they had added mayo. While I did not check off "no mayo", it also wasn't listed as an ingredient, so I didn't think it was necessary. We called the store and they had said that the cashier should have mentioned the unlisted ingredients, which are part of being "fully involved", and if I didn't want them I should have checked off those ingredients for removal.. Oddly enough, not all of the "fully loaded" ingredients were included so whether we wanted it "fully loaded" or not, the order was wrong either way. My fiance was actually the one who made the call, but I was sitting next to him as he did, and the person on the phone seemed really unhelpful. My fiance also mentioned that the sandwich was soft and soggy and he didn't want to order from them again. Plus, apparently by definition, Italian subs aren't supposed to come with mayo, so of all ingredients to include when not explicitly requested, why mayo? I should note that the description of the Italian mentioned "fully involved", but only after listing the ingredients. For people ordering quickly, who may not be familiar with the chain and its expressions, this is easily overlooked. The only place where you see the "fully involved" ingredients list is in the fine print at the bottom of the graphic, which is written in black on red background - poor contrast and not ADA compliant for people with low vision. Plus, its a graphic with no textual description, so a screen reader (text-to-speech) would not pick up these ingredients. I only noticed the fully loaded description now that I was looking for it, for the purpose of writing this review. read more

Always love their toasted sub sandwiches. The atmosphere is fireman themed and lots of fun things to look at. We visit this location on a regular basis. It's clean, the help is always friendly and the service for the most part is fast. Occasionally it seems to take longer than normal to get your sandwich. The salads are also very good, but honestly you may as well go with the sub, because the bread is so tasty!!! There is also a reward program. Sign up to receive free double meat, free sub, drinks, etc....you don't need one of those cards, just your phone number. Highly recommend eating here if you are ever near one. read more

THE MANAGER JACOB MADE MY DINNING EXPERIENCE THE WORST I HAVE EVER HAD!!! There are 2 places I dine firehouse subs (because of "welcome to fire house" and chick filet (due to the use of "my pleasure") little things make a huge difference to me and my family. Not being greeted was a bummer but not the reason for my negative review. After ordering I asked for a water glass, the new soda machine didn't have a water button so filled the glass with a 3 second pour of soda. The lady behind the register came up to me and said manager has to charge me for that. Which is what it is so went out to truck for cash. Came back in and the manager Jacob was extremely rude and condescending. I asked for a full sized glass of was going to have to pay for it and he charged me for a kid cup/water glass and a large cup totaling $4 dollars. I said your really going out of your way to make this uncomfortable arnt you, which he replied with belittling, insulting insinuations of dishonesty, theft and over the top demeaning Condescension. I was left in amazement his rudeness and told me to write a review and went on and on. I work in customer service and come to your establishment because it is usually enjoyable and the food is good. I'm beyond offended at how Jacob handled the situation. It could have been handled so much better and even a polite conversation about how "please use water for water cups or will have to charge" and guiding where water is when I honestly looked for water in the new machine and couldn't find it. Then charging me for 2 cups just to be spiteful. He was very rude and his body language and tone was extremely insulting and uncomfortable. I will never come back to this location and in all honest am in the process of posting my experience on social media. Very disappointed with how he represents your fine establishment and his over all demeanor. After getting home there was something in my sandwich and my wife and I didn't feel confident or comfortable finishing the sandwiches as he was the one handling our food. Awesome sub shop. The guys behind the counter greet you with a hearty welcome when you walk into the store. As a novice, I didn't really know what they did well. The gal who took my order walked me through the various sandwiches and made some general recommendations (of which I now have tried all of them - FABULOUS). Choose the meatball. SOO good. The atmosphere is casual, with decor along a firefighter theme. Not great, but not bad either. Sandwiches are brought to you at your table with a smile. The Italian sub is even better than the meatball. Get it "fully involved" - you'll love it even more. The large is worth the extra $$ - the medium doesn't feel like a full sandwich. The meatball sub is delicious! I stopped in at the end of the night, which is something that I hate to do, and the staff was professional and courteous! I needed to use the restroom, but one of the workers had already started mopping. It was an emergency, so I had to commit the dreaded act of making tracks on the freshly mopped floor. I apologized profusely only to realize that it didn't matter because the young man was extremely polite and friendly and didn't seem to mind that I trampled all over his glistening floor.
