I'm going to start off by saying that I love the sandwiches here. However, it seems that there is little management oversight of the employees. They usually seem over staffed, but end up having employees standing around not doing much. My real complaint however is their lack of management with online orders. I've placed orders through their app and even called in an order once to this location and the orders are always either wrong or not even prepared when I arrive. I'd like to see better management as a whole here and vast improvement in the online ordering. Franchise owner or GM needs to get involved asap. read more

First off, let me say that Jersey Mike's sandwiches are great. Having said that, I want you to know that I consider customer service to be just as important as the product being sold. So, here is my review of this particular Jersey Mike's location: I ordered a Giant Sub online with extra meat and extra cheese and a wheat bun. I added a $2 tip. I ordered it ONLINE. I drove the miles to the location, my order was there and ready in the sealed bag. I took it home. I opened the bag. It was not my order...not even close. There was a regular sandwich, a larger sandwich on white bun and some chips. Naturally, I was upset. Who wouldn't be? Anyway, I had to drive all the miles back to this Jersey Mike's on Centennial Rd. I went in and, of course, asked for the manager (MGR). He came out and walked up to me at the counter, a frown on his face. MGR: What is it? Me: I drove all the way home, opened up the bag, and this is not my order, not even close. MGR: (Silence) Me: So, I guess ordering online here you're taking a gamble. MGR: (The frown is still there...no apology for the mistake) Has this happened before? Me: No. MGR: Then your logic doesn't back up your statement. Me: This order is not even close to my order. MGR: You can drop the attitude. Me: Attitude? (Ah, I see...when you drive all the way home and find out you were given the wrong order, don't you dare be upset about it...) MGR: (Frowning, he starts doing stuff on the cash register not speaking a word...I have no idea what he's doing because he is not talking to me at all. After a minute, he hands me a couple of cards, buy one sub get one free, and another for a free regular sub. He then walks away. He says NOTHING...just a frown.) I stood there watching him and could see he was making a sandwich...maybe my sandwich? Who knows...he had said nothing to me. After wrapping up the sandwich he made and putting it in a bag, he came back to me and handed it to me. Me: What is it? MGR: (Frowning) Your order. Me: How do I know that? MGR: (Frowning) It's your order. So, I pulled the sandwich out and unwrapped it. Me: That's a wheat bun? MGR: Yes. Me: (Looking at the sandwich...it looks like it's okay). You sure? MGR: Attitude. Me: You're the one with an attitude. What's your name? MGR: I don't have to tell you my name. At this point, he was really upsetting me, so I took the wrong order out of its bag and I put the right sandwich in the bag and I left. So, here is my review: they make good sandwiches, but that manager did not even remotely come close to apologizing for the mistake, but instead attacked me for having an "attitude". He was not wearing a name tag and he refused to tell me his name. He has black, curly hair. All I can say is that if this is how the owner teaches his managers to treat customers, then I cannot in good conscience give them anything above one star. Like I said: I believe customer service is just as important as the productwell, their sandwiches are good. Their customer service is horrible. And that manager? Man, if I owned a sub shop and I found out the manager was acting like that toward a customer who had been wronged, I wouldn't keep him around another day. Will I buy another sandwich there? Possibly, because they do make good sandwiches, but I guarantee I will never order online from them again, because they might screw up the order and then without apologizing for their mistake, they will criticize you for having an "attitude". A simply apology would have made all the difference, but apparently apologizing to a customer for their mistake is not in their DNA. read more

The subs are delicious, however the staff could definitely use some work. The African American gentleman who works here should be let go. I frequent this restaurant all the time and I have never felt the need to leave a remark until recently. The guy is power tripping over his possible "shift lead" authority and obviously makes everyone uncomfortable. I asked for extra toppings as always and he made it into a whole ordeal- scolding younger staff for not charging me. He then required I pay extra which is normally fine. When I ordered my sandwich, there was a crew of about 7 people behind the counter. One had his fingers in his mouth before the other asked him to make the sandwich. He begrudgingly started putting his gloves on without washing his hands first while the crew watched. It was bad enough that he did that, it was worse that no one intervened. I'm going to be frank here, the sandwich was good, but the place is filthy. There were six people hanging out in the back, filling oil bottles and discussing their Frappuccino they got from next door. Then, there was some dude on break (I presume) who sat at the both adjacent to mine and proceeded to hang over the seat into my space...and every other table was empty. Not sure who manages this place, but they should be ashamed of whoever was on the schedule at 3PM, Saturday (June 9th) and they should be embarrassed by the state of this dining room. Check your order before you leave. We ordered two sandwiches, drove 15 minutes home just to find out both were wrong. One was a cheesesteak instead of a chicken cheesesteak and I don't eat beef, and the other was an original but they put jalapeños on it for some reason. We were the only people in there when we ordered and there were a ton of employees working so it's not like they were overwhelmed. The bread was good though. read more

I love Jersey Mikes. I eat here once a week typically and have no problems. I came in tonight, around 6:20pm and there were two girl sitting on top of the counter when I walked in. I'm not one to write a bad review or complain considering I worked in the fast food industry (across the street actually!) for over 8 years. I know the ins and outs of food safety and representation to a guest and these two ladies absolutely missed the mark. I'm SO sorry about this. I left a positive review previously and I still think good thoughts about JM's. My problem involves the dreaded nose ring worn by the cute little girl who made my sandwich. It could be a personal problem. I can deal with tattoos, long hair, and even some piercings but nose rings (to me) are disgusting, unnecessary, and in this case, disappointing. I don't know what was happening in this place yesterday but it was a shit show. I went in to order, look up and see that the wall above the register says order, so I figure it's jimmy johns like where you just pay first. I've only ever ordered delivery. I go to the register and make eye contact with the lady behind it and say hi, and state what sandwich I wanted. She replies with "are you trying to order?" Weird question but I say yes, and then she says "order down there", and then points. So I wanted to respond with a very human moment of "oops I've made a mistake, let's laugh bout it" energy. I point to the wall above me that literally says "order" and start to say "oh I thought that this meant to order here." It was just the end of a sentence painted on the wall that said "made to order" or something along those lines. But before I could finish the word "thought" she cuts me off with attitude and says "order down there" at me again. Like I was trying to argue with her or something? I just turned away and walked to the end of the line. I was pretty pissed she made me feel bad that I made a half second judgment incorrectly. I have worked in fast food and retail before. I get there are bad days. I have never been rude like that to a customer. But here's the weirdest part. While I'm waiting to pay for my order from miss tude, I notice a teen girl has gotten in line behind me and is actively crying and whimpering a bit. Tude, yells over to her to ask if she's alright, and this girl responds between sobs "I just want my sandwich." To which tude replies "did you find your number?." And teen girl is too upset by her question to really say anything other than "I had a sandwich." Tude then looks at me with an expression that read "wow this girls a shit show, can you believe this shit." Lady I am not on your team here. She's clearly upset, and your attitude is part of the reason why. I'm pretty sure this woman made this girl cry over a sandwich somehow. What on earth happened here. I was so confused. There were numerous sandwich bags on the counter in front of me so I just stood there waiting for someone to tell me which one was mine, which she eventually did. I've been coming to this Jersey Mikes since it first opened. Best subs available! Was going to the south Broadway location years before they opened up this one, which is closer to where I reside. Usually a pleasant experience! I always get a Giant #13 with chips and drink. After paying, I eat half of the sub in the lobby, (pre and post COVID, of course) and save the other half for a midnight snack. Today, at about 2pm, after the meat was put on the sandwich, the small girl with the pony tail and glasses and small ear gauge(s)? and eye brow piercing (just so you know who I am talking about) asked if I wanted it Mike's Way. I did but with NO tomatoes and with pickles, please. She puts on the onions and lettuce and then begins to put on tomatoes. I cut her off at about the same time she is putting on the tomatoes with a "yeah, no tomatoes". (I hate tomatoes!). She peels off the one or 2 tomatoes. I could have let her line it with more tomatoes but I am pretty sure she caught her mistake. She tosses the tomatoes off and then SLAMS the spices jar down loudly and vigorously and puts the spices on the sandwich in a hissy. SLAMS the juices bottle on the counter and sprays it all over sandwich. All the while giving the biggest frown face she could muster. Perhaps she was already having a bad day? Yep, we all get those! But her reaction to me as I quietly and very politely indicated again, "no tomatoes", was totally unnecessary. It was like watching a small child having a little temper tantrum. Actually, it was kind of humorous and pathetic at the same time. I was going to eat 1/2 of the sub in the lobby but after that little display, I went home. (Could the dyed-pink hair girl at the register have offered me a receipt? Guess not) Look, I'm not one to call out bad customer service on the spot or leave a bad review but felt it was time to start doing so. If you're a manager and reading this, sit down with this girl (I tried to give a good description of her) and tell her their negative interaction is not acceptable. Many of us, including me, have been in these same jobs, day after day, where we all have to deal with criticism, some warranted, some not. It's just a part of life! She is very young and has great, rewarding work days ahead of her but customers who pay $20 for sandwich, drink and chips should not have to put up with nonsense like that. I don't want to go to Subway and pay less than $10 for garbage but yet better customer service. I shouldn't feel bad for correcting someone else's mistake. We all make mistakes. It was no big deal, not at all! until she started to dent up the counter! :) You will always have customers that wont give a care about these episodes or customers like me who DO care and expect good customer service along with an edible product. You will also get customers who would have been so put off by this girl's tantrum they would have put her in her place right then and there. I don't believe in demeaning people that are just trying to do their job. But that girl needs to grow up a little and receive some better training on good customer service. Ordered pick up Nov 6 at 1155am. Number 8 and 13. Got all the way home and realized we got the wrong order. We basically got 2 pieces of bread with a piece of Turkey, no condiments. When I called them back and asked to speak to the manager, she said they were too busy. When I asked to have a new order delivered to me they said they can't do that. I have since sent emails and called 3 times and no manager has called back. Wonderful place if they get the order correct. If they don't, buyer beware. read more

I love the mobile app. When we have family or friends here helping us or hanging out and need to serve a group, it's easy to go around and take orders on the app (totally custom right down to every ingredient in the sandwich) and then pick them up 20 minutes later without standing in line.
