I've previously eaten at Qdoba (Dallas, TX) and have always enjoyed the food and overall experience. However, I recently used them to cater my daughters 16th birthday and the service received from beginning to end, by both management and staff, was beyond exceptional. I ordered the hot bar for 25 people. The food was GOOD & PLENTIFUL, all of my guests raved and continued to rave about it. It wasn't expensive at all, they delivered and set everyyhing up - I didn't have to assist with anything. QUALITY service, QUALITY food - Overall, a GREAT experience. I told them I wanted chicken & veggies when the young lady said "just veggies " I told her "no It was chicken and veggies " . She asked the young man who was putting my bowl together and he said "yea I put both" so they charged me for both & when I got home I only got veggies . I am very upset especially because I was charged for both and didn't receive what I wanted . Maybe next time they shouldn't rush and answer the phone when a customer is calling especially when being over charged . read more

A great tex-mex restaurant with some pretty good tacos. We went here just before the lunch rush on a Holiday. Though there were only 4 people in front of us the wait was longer than expected. All the food is fresh and cooked the grill is in the open so you can see everthing they are doing. We tried 5 of their 6 knockout tacos. The drunken yardbird was chicken with fresh cilantro and tequilla lime, it was very fresh on the pallet. The two timer was my wifes favorite, hard shell in a tortilla with pulled pork. Great flavor! Agreeably our least favorite was the madhouse? Overall good food, slow service, average price, not to die for but worth checking out. read more

Service is terrible! I have eaten there a few times now. I like the food very much but the service even for to-go orders is ridiculous! Called and was told they wouldn't take my call-in order over the phone. Placed order online only to receive a call saying they were out of cheese for my quesadilla. Had to drive to location in order to receive my refund. I won't be back. read more

Went to this location on 5/5/20 and noticed the workers behind the counter, all 4 of them, were not wearing masks and standing over the food while they talked to the customers. Restaurants are wanting us to frequent them and keep them going but it is a 2 way street. If you don't have any more concern for the safety of the customers, then you will lose business. I will not be returning to Qdoba if this is the kind of service you want to provide to the paying public. Wear protective material when you serve food to the public. read more

I love this place. It's a chain but seems very home grown - they have had the same employees and low turnover rate (so it seems). Their employees are all really nice and accommodating. Their food is excellent. I actually prefer it to Chipolte. They have WAY more menu options and it seems like the quality is better and fresher. I always get their tortilla soup - it's super good and you can customize it how you like it! They always have a very clean restaurant and their employees all have excellent food handling skills (i'm in healthcare so I'm always wary of germs and people touching/making my food). Try it out! Wow almost forgot my review for my horrible catering experience. I ordered the taco bar for 25 people 3 weeks ago for my sons graduation party. Well party was going good but I noticed all of the guest were eating nachos. Well I checked and there was not tortillas only chips. Ok then I realized no beans either thank god I ordered queso because if not those would of been some dry nachos. So $250 for some nachos no way. So I called the Restarsaunt the next day to inquire about the mistake. I was told I would get a call back that day well no return call. So Monday I followed up with a woman named Jasmine who was more than helpful she assured me the district manager was going to call me that day since she was too busy Saturday. Jasmine called the manager who said she was going to call when she got to that store I guess she didn't make it because she didn't call me till Friday! This was after I called the customer service number on Wednesday and Friday. The customer service man told me he would call me right back and he did explained that she was going to call me. Well when did call she acted like she knew nothing about my complaint and told me she would refund me 50% ok good deal but I explained to her I still thought that was not fair because I shouldn't of had to track her down to even speak with her. I feel as if a full refund should of been given due to the customer service after the catering mistake. If this was handled Saturday then wow that was more than fair. But this was a week later and No she was not on vacation or out she just ignored my request to speak with management. So I ask her when will I receive my refund she tells me she has doesn't know the protocol so she will get back to me, WHAT!!!!!! Your a freaking district manager and you don't know how to do a refund that the company already knows about? So she tells me she will call me on Monday and that she did she took my cc number over the phone and issued a refund. Now on a side note I was not loud, rude or disrespectful to any employee not even her so that has no bearing on the request. We all know when you act like that many managers try to ignore you thinking you will go away. Nope I'm not that person. But I was blunt with the customer service rep and told them if she was a area/district manager she would of been terminated. Why have someone represent your business that cannot assist your customers. On the plus side they do give military discount. read more

It was pretty much underwhelming. Neighboring Panda Express, Wing Stop, Jersey Mikes were all filling up...this place was a mausoleum! I ordered the Try Two lunch special. After ordering the "Mexican Gumbo" (tortilla soup), I was told that I couldn't have a Burrito as my 2nd part of the Try Two, even though it was on the menu that way...was told that it would have to be a bowl full of burrito fixings, just not wrapped in a tortilla. Isn't that what a burrito is? So, unfortunately, I opted for the "Three Cheese Nachos" - a bowl of chips with melted processed cheese food stuff and a lot of grease! They dolled it up with some taco meat, shredded cheese and guacamole, but by the time I got it to the table it was a mess. The chips were wobbly and soggy. Tasted like the nachos at a high school football concession stand. The soup was OK, but nothing special. Nine bucks later, I was certainly unimpressed...probably won't be back. read more

I was going to order the smothered burrito, but the nice gentleman behind the counter said get the regular burrito and add the sauce on the side, as it's bigger than the smothered burrito. A nice suggestion, and I did just that! Love all the variety here, you can never get the same thing twice if you don't want to. Delicious and filling...will definitely be back. read more

Not sure why this particular location has such poor reviews. I came at lunch on Friday and was impressed. It was surprisingly empty (never good to see at lunchtime rush hour) but the restaurant was very clean and the staff very helpful. They even offered to let me try all the different sauces on a chip so I could decide which I wanted on my smothered burrito. On the whole it's a bit more expensive than Chipotle but they also don't make you pay for guacamole. The food was very good though slightly less food than Chipotle. The flavors are different here though and I agree with the other reviewer who said it has more cumin/more Tex-Mex flavor. The decor is very nice. I'd come back. Support these places - there aren't very many fast casual places to pick up a decent meal in Mansfield! read more

I read the previous review about horrible catering but decided to go for it anyway when I needed catering at the last minute. I talked to Kristen this morning and she set it all up. I arrived at the agreed upon time and everything was ready - including all the food and the things I need to set up and serve. The staff was super accommodating and helpful and the food was abundant. I go here for the queso and that's about it. I love the chips and queso! But everything else is just ok. And I've honestly stopped getting meat because it always looks like it just sat around all day. It kind of creeps me out. I also never really see a crowd here, which makes me wonder about freshness and reuse of food... Just get queso and chips and leave. read more

I've seen a few QDOBAs but never really considered them before until a friend recommended it. Similar to Chipotle or Freebirds, QDOBA is great for custom-made "Mexican" food. I had the surf and turf burrito bowl with tequila lime chicken instead of steak- SO good! They thought I wanted it as a regular burrito, so they wrapped it up as such. I cut it open with a knife and it was like eating soup out of a bread bowl. I've now made this my preferred method of eating this food style! read more

Went into Qudoba for the first time tonight. The guacamole looked like it came straight from a package. I asked the girl "is the guacamole homemade?" She goes "what do you mean?" I said "do you make it here?" And she literally said "I don't understand the question".....needless to say I left without any guac. I would suggest teaching your employees how things are made and where they come from. read more

Got the grilled chicken burrito and thought it was very good. The burrito is pretty big, probably the same size as Chipotle etc., so you probably won't leave hungry. Service was great, restaurant is clean and the prices are good. read more
