I pick up orders here frequently and I had a very cordial experience today with one of the staff members. As a result, I wanted to leave a review. In short, the brief interaction I had with this particular staff member at this Qdoba location involved me asking if the meat this particular Qdoba location serves is well-stored and well-cooked. This particular staff member assured me that it was, which I appreciated. Knowing that this Qdoba location promised me that they properly store and cook their meat makes me feel comfortable enough to eat at this particular location. I am grateful that the staff at this location care about the well-being of their customers, and I believe that they should be applauded for doing so. Unfortunately, in today's day-and-age, so few corporations out there seem to truly take an interest in providing high-quality food for their customers, yet Qdoba clearly cares about doing exactly that. read more

Whoever had the bright idea of making a chicken quesadilla with dark meat should be barred from the restaurant business all together. Now, I am pretty sure most of us know dark meat chicken is much lower in cost than white meat. So why would they make a dark meat chicken quesadilla, charge me like it's white meat, and then, have the audacity, to put so little meat on it that I had to ask to pay for more meat. I was sorry I did. It honestly made me want to never have another quesadilla again. I'm over that now lol, but it's bad. Any of their competition is better. Just so I am being clear. Went in at 7:23 friday 1/5/24. Employee immediately yells at me, asking if i was a mobile order to which i said no. He then proceeds to yell from across the restaurant that he is "closed for a little bit". Me being confused as to why the door would be open and employees working I said "what?" . He proceeds to yell again "cant you read the sign". And i go out to read the sign on the door and in almost ineligible handwriting on a piece of paper it says "closed until 7:30". None have this would have been an issue had the employee not immediately yelled from across the restaurant basically insulting my intelligence for walking in at 7:30 on a friday. read more

They got my order wrong for delivery for one of the items; added toppings I didn't ask for and generally that would be a good thing but due to religious constraints, I wasn't able to eat the bowl. And the second item, the sauces provided were way too salty to be edible. Definitely two stars max from me. read more

Ordered for delivery this evening, business substituted chicken for ground beef without notifying us because they were 'out', substituted hot queso for mild, again without notifying because they were out. Horrible! Waited over five minutes to be served before we left. No music playing - just silence. Multiple delivery folks just sitting around waiting for their orders too. A fight almost broke out as one delivery driver was given attitude from a worker who had one earbud in. Not many workers working. The workers weren't friendly at all - no interaction with the guests. Dirty restaurant. I love Qdoba, but this location is horrible. I'll never go here again. We left and went up the road to Chipotle and had a much better experience. read more

Hours on Qdoba's website/app quotes Open until 10pm daily. Arrived at 9:35pm and they were Closed. This place is playing games with the hours. I'm very disappointed and the workers don't seem to care at all! I am tired of it. All other sources point to this place being open until 10pm: Google maps, results on Google, Yelp, etc. I ordered at 9:20pm. They sure took my money, and I did not get any food when I arrived at 9:35pm. They picked up the phone however and claimed that they never received my order! They did something similar before where I made sure that my order was IN BEFORE 9:30pm!!! That time, I got in and was able to get my food, but only after them yelling "WE'RE CLOSED!!" -at 9:45pm- as I walked towards the mobile order pickup area. I'm fully DONE with this location!! I came in at 8:00pm on 9/29/23 and a young gentleman with dreads was on the line. He had his AirPods in and was talking to someone while trying to take my order. That wasn't my problem my problem is I asked for a half portion of the rice and he doesn't hear me because he's talking to the person on the phone while I'm talking, then I ask for a light portion of the black beans and he again doesn't hear me but realized what I said after and just said "my bad it's not that much" I asked him to scrape some of the rice and beans off, no need to get a new tortilla , it's an easy fix. He responds with "burritos aren't supposed to be small" and refuses to scrape the rice and beans off. I ask again saying it's my order and that's what I'm asking for, he walks away to get his manager who pretends not to speak English. The kid comes back and starts cursing about the manager and about me TO ME. I put it frankly that had he put his call on hold he would have heard my original ask. Out of no where another young staff member starts cursing at me for talking to 'his little brother' like that. The manager is standing there watching all of this happen, rubbing the same spot on the counter like she's watching a telenovela. The kid then throws the burrito with the rice and beans in the trash and pulls out another tortilla and just stares at me like it's my move in chess. So I'm on my way to Chipotle now and the franchise needs to get their staff together. No wonder this location is dead 24/7. read more

Everyone here is always so polite and extremely helpful. We always leave happy. I always get the 3 tacos and my BF always gets a steak burrito. It's huge!!!!! And soooo good I always get a drunken yardbird and a mad rancher. Sometimes they have a limited time special taco and I got that once it was amazing. Cheap and filling and good quality food I have yet to see a wilted lettuce leaf or wrinkled tomato. I'm very impressed. Qdoba isn't what it used to be.... it's better! Way better. My first time at this location I was walking in prepared to be disappointed like I was a few years ago with their food. But when I saw that they had new options I was so excited. Everytime we go shopping around here or before or after the movies I always ask if we're eating here. It's clean (prep area, dining area, & bathroom) fast and cheap! I had a very bad experience in this Qdoba restaurant. First, I love Qdoba restaurants and dine in them often. And I will continue to do so, but never again in this particular restaurant. I ordered a pulled-pork Quesadilla. Unlike other Qdoba restaurants, the employee started with the meat and not the cheese. I asked her three times to please put the cheese on first. She ignored me. After the meat, she asked what else I wanted. I said cheese. She sprinkled a tiny bit of cheese over the meat. And I am not exaggerating. She gave me a very light sprinkling. I explained that in other Qdoba shops I have dined in, they put on much cheese first and then the meat. After then, the additional optional toppings. And they finish with another nice layer of cheese. The employee did not offer me more cheese and seemed unconcerned about my request. I asked for a business card with the owner's name and phone number. She had none. I walked out. I was flabbergasted by the employee's attitude towards a paying customer. What is management thinking!? So this brand new Qdoba just opened up. Since I don't work in downtown Wilmington, this is a much more convenient location to me. Also, unlike their downtown Wilmington location, parking here is much easier and free of charge since it's in a strip mall. There are other improvements at this Qdoba location too, compared to the older one. The dining area decor is more up-to-date and spacious. That doesn't necessarily mean it's more comfortable since I'm not too fond of the chairs, but it's a start. Service was pretty good, in that they seemed willing to provide anything I asked for. I want to like them for their food as well but such was not the case. Compared to Moe's, just on the other side of this shopping center, Qdoba has a rather limited range of toppings. I wish they had a lot more choices so that my taco salad runneth over, but it barely made it to the rim. On the plus side, there isn't an extra charge for guacamole. (You hear that, Chipotle?) The Qdoba chain is hampered by the most user-unfriendly customer reward system in existence. You get points for your visit but only if you didn't use any coupons or discounts, which pretty much excludes all my visits. (People, I'm not made of money!) If you forgot to bring your Qdoba card, you have to ask for a claim ID on your receipt so you can enter it into the website later on for points. I forgot to ask for that and only realized later that I needed to. Why isn't the claim ID automatically added to each receipt? What possible abuse scenario could they be avoiding by not doing so? Fortunately, I noticed this before I left the restaurant so I was able to ask them for a reprint of the receipt with a claim ID. Of course, now I'm finding that the website does not accept the claim ID for reasons unknown. Qdoba sure isn't making this easy! read more

A nice, relatively new and very clean Qdoba with amazingly no line at 12:15 on a Monday. I zipped in and out with my taco salad bowl. Good stuff - no issues. 3 ladies running the front counter were pleasant and delivered great customer service. I will be back - and likely soon. read more

The store is always clean and the staff is always helpful. My girlfriend has a dairy allergy and so she has to get toppings that hasn't been cross contaminated and the staff is always willing to go out of their way to fulfill her request. Love the variety they have, but I always go with the steak bowl. I do need to try some of their signature tacos one of these days. read more

I was excited when they were opening this location since it is closer to my home and plenty of parking, previously went to the Market St location. I have been to this location twice, both times it wasn't good. I gave it a second chance since the first time I went is was shortly after it opened. The food was over cooked both times and didn't have the same taste as the Market Street location. I was so disappointed and will not be giving QDOBA a third chance. read more

Yes it is fast food mexican and yes they are similar to Chipotles so I will elaborate the difference. UNLIMITED TOPPINGS NO EXTRA CHARGE. I'm a fat kid at heart and want all the toppings all the sauces, guac, sour cream, corn, I'll tell ya when to stop :) got the Burrito bowl and wrap on the side plus errythang else. I love the finely minced onions and fresh jalepeno plus cilantro. All the ingredients were super fresh and excellent dicing/ mincing. Noone really wants huge chunks of red onion in a bite overpowering things so it made me happy to see great knife skills. This location is brand new. So it is super clean and the staff are smiley too. Their call to action for social media is " wanted, flavor addicts". The sauces and salsas are boldly flavored so this is very appropriate advertising. Make your meal as flavored as you like and add anything you like! read more

Everyone here was really polite and friendly. I always order a chicken rice bowl with a side of chips. I prefer qdoba's queso and guac to Chipotle's. Their chips are not overly salty and have a nice lemon or lime zest to it, which is refreshing. read more

This was my first visit to Qdoba, being invited by a good friend who gave it all the raves, when we arrived and went inside,it was not warm and inviting as a food place should be,it was clean i will give it that, but the waiters were very cold and seemed like you were intruding on them and that they were doing you a favor,they all looked as if they did not want to be there,they looked unkempt and few of them just kept drinking from the beverage machine, and the use of disposable gloves was horrible, used the same pair to handle food and non food items,cross contamination was a very big factor, they would do other things and come back to handle your food with the same gloves,not good at all, food wasn't covered between serving it and there was a fly that kept landing on the table where we were eating so you know he was visiting the food that was uncovered,could have so much better with a little Caring. The worst Qdoba I have ever been too. I got a burrito bowl and a chicken quesadilla. They did not fill up the burrito bowl up at all. I had a half-full bowl and the chicken quesadilla was average. I was surprised that I was the only customer during lunch time but now I can understand why. Staff was rude and slow. The countertop and floor were sticky. This Qdoba is pretty good when it comes to the food. My favorite would have to be the quesadillas. I've had steak and pulled pork which are both really good. The chips and queso are really good too. The queso almost tastes like cheddar broccoli soup to me and the chips are perfectly crunchy and salted. They also have about every type of soft drink/juice you can think of. The customer service could be better though. read more
