I got hooked on Qdoba in college since there was one right outside my apartment that had a student special. This one doesn't compare, but I come back whenever I want a burrito bowl with queso. Seriously, if chipotle had queso & the line wasn't so long then I would never come to this Qdoba. All the times i've been here except for once, they have been stingy with the ingredients of my burrito bowl, once they literally put 5 pieces of lettuce on my bowl and then looked me in my face and asked if that was all the toppings I wanted. For $7 I think I deserve at least a handful of lettuce without getting the stink-eye. read more

Qdoba is defiantly one of my favorite quick Mexican food spots. My mother and I had lunch at this location. It was far from enjoyable. #1 We were rushed and no one else was waiting. #2 The chicken was basically gone and they didn't bring anymore out for us. We were served chicken scraps. #3 The beans had no flavor and they weren't letting us get the toppings we wanted. The staff seemed to not want to serve us. We were very respectful. My girlfriend comes here sometimes and always thinks highly of this place. Now that I've tried it I can say that I will definitely be back. If you have ever been to Chipotle it's almost the same experience however in my opinion, it tastes better. I ordered the steak burrito, my girlfriend ordered a steak bowl, we were both very pleased with what we ordered. The atmosphere is nice and the music is not too loud. We also love the raspberry tea that is offered here. Overall I recommend it to anyone craving Hispanic food or if you're just plain hungry. read more

We've seen this place a few times in passing during commutes. We decided to try them out using door dash. Not sure who is to blame or whose system is flawed, but we only got half our order. We were bounced between customer service with door dash and the restaurant. The delivery driver said the restaurant packed the order and the restaurant said they only saw half our order, yet door dash took payment for our full order. Not sure what happened, but due to the amount of food we received for what we paid for (minus the refund for what we didn't receive but initially paid for) and the customer service from the restaurant, I'm giving 1 star. The restaurant blamed door dash over the phone and asked us to come pick up our remaining items. Why would we go out to the restaurant and grab our remaining items, when we paid the door dash delivery fee AND tipped the driver? The restaurant made it seem like we (and door dash) were at fault for not receiving our missing items, and didn't want to work with us. We reached back out to door dash again after talking with the restaurant and while waiting in queue (being 88th in line on hold), we received a refund. First and last time ordering from this restaurant. No customer service skills and quality and portion size of food for what you pay for is lacking. read more

We haven't been coming to Qdoba very much recently, but before the new year we came almost every week on Tuesday or Wednesday for their BOGO deal. I've always enjoyed the food and experience. Sometimes I feel like I get skimped on my meat especially if it's the bottom of the tin. I don't feel like anyone has ever been rude to me and I always see the same people since I tend to go around the same time of day. I like it better than Chipotle, their queso is so yummy, their steak isn't too spicy for me and the only thing that upsets me is when I feel I get skimped on the meat and that isn't often. read more

The employees are not only unfriendly, but are actually rude to customers. An example was during our last (and it will be our last) visit. When ordering for my family and going through the assembly line for our order, the lady preparing our food mistakenly thought the customer's order before us was ours. When she asked what we wanted on it, we informed her we did not order that. She huffed and snapped back, "Yes you did!" Really? After an awkward back-and-forth between her, us, and the lady who took our order, they realized their error, but both employees acted as if they were annoyed at us for their mistake. We enjoyed lunch here for the first time. What a great meal we ate. The food tasted great even if it is fast food, the service was excellent and the entire experience was enjoyable. The staff was highly accommodating because this was our first visit and they greatly assisted us in choosing a lunch meal, all with a smile. I've been here a few times, and each time I feel like my tacos are getting smaller and smaller. They have a lot of different options, so it really depends on what you get. The service is quick but not very friendly - I feel very rushed through the line - which is why I think my tacos end up being only 1/4 full in the end. I'm a fan of "fast casual" Mexican food and have been to this Qdoba (as well as others) multiple times since it opened. Qdoba normally is pretty good, on-par with Chipotle. This location, however, is horrible. The last few times I went (spread out over the past seven months or so) the chicken was horrible. I've never seen chicken cut up into such small tiny bits. It's also very dry, and didn't taste much like chicken. The chips. Ahh, Qdoba has tasty corn chips! Better than Chipotle even! At least they used to. The secret was, I believe, in the salt they used (it had a tangy flavor). This location at least does not use this salt anymore. Or, if they do, they must only put a few grains of salt in the bag because I sure can't taste it. On my last visit (in both senses of the term) they also tasted like they were overcooked. Qdoba/Jack-in-the-Box corporate should look into this location and consider revoking the franchise if they don't clean up. But I really don't care anymore, because due to the obvious lack of quality control I don't plan on going to any Qdoba location again. Chipotle, Baja Fresh, and even Taco Bell are better. Anything positive I can say? Hmm... at least the soft drinks are okay. read more

Healthier substitute for Chipotle (yes, I prefer Qdoba over Chipotle). I have never had any complaints about the food here. The staff are usually very friendly (we've only had 1 issue in the past) and have always been quick with orders. This place also has a buy one get one deal on Tues & Weds with purchase of 2 drinks :) and isn't as packed as chipotle which is definitely a plus for me. Definitely one of my go to places for a quick/inexpensive dinner! read more

I don't know why this place only has 3 stars. The quality is infinitely better then Chipotle, more menu choices, A LOT bigger servings in the burritos. The ONLY reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because they are somewhat bad at rolling the burritos. The guy who rolled mine the last time I went seemed a bit lazy and haphazardly rolled mine together, ripped tortilla, ingredients falling out etc. But other then that, Qdoba is 10 times better then Chipotle. If I'd written this review yesterday I would have given a 5-star rating. I'm giving a 3-star rating today ONLY because yesterday was great otherwise I'd give them a 1-star rating! Yesterday was my first time visiting QDOBA as it was recommended to me by a coworker. On 1 November (evening) the food was good and the staff, although they didn't really speak much, had a pleasant demeanor. I liked it so much that I decided to return today (November 2nd) for lunch. Needless to say, my experience was NOT the same. The staff was stingy with both the RICE and CORN of all things. I felt rushed by there glaring stares (they really didn't speak to me) although there was no one behind me when I got line. It was almost as if they didn't want to help me. When I reached the register I told the lady that I had a bowl with extra chicken. Not sure if she believed me or not because she felt the need to verify what I'd just told her in her native tongue with the woman counting out the rice. She then turns to me and says "a bowl with extra chicken?" I responded with a smile and said "yes, a bowl with extra chicken." I guest the jest of what I'm saying is if you want pleasant service and a reasonable portion of food for the price, wait until later in the evening to visit when the young wait staff is on board. The more "mature" wait staff will cause you not to want to return. This really is a honest review. I enjoyed the food. A quick word of wisdom to QDOBA - Great customer service will keep people returning even if the food is just ok. But horrible customer service can potentially close the doors of a business even if the food is delicious! No one wants to PAY for good food that comes with a horrible attitude. read more

I am not a big Mexican fast food fan but I actully liked the grilled chicken burrito from this restaurant. It wasn't pre-packaged food. You get to watch them make it from steaming the tortilla wrap to getting your input on what you want. Almost like subways. And it tasted quite good. This location is awful! I love Qdoba. LOVE it! In college I had one literally right outside my window and would visit multiple times per week (hence the freshman 15 no longer being a myth). This location in Woodbridge is the worst. It makes the entire chain look awful, because the nearst thing is that god-awful Chiptole. And thats a drive. The food is outstanding, as usual. Its the service. The people here ignore you, act like they can't understand, serve waaaay less food than they should, and try to tack on a charge when you ask for the normal amount. Occasionally, depending on the manager working, you may have a decent experience. 95% of the time you won't. Its a real shame because I love this place dearly, but I will never support this location again. Don't let this horrible location throw you off because when run right, Qboda is an excellent, fast, upbeat place with a great selection. read more

The reason I came here today is, as I was next door (at the mattress store) one of the sales reps came in with a taco salad that looked pretty tasty. As she started sharing the ingredients that were in it I felt like I had to have one. Well as I walked in I was pretty excited because it reminded me of Chipotle. When I met the first server who prepared my salad I was like ok she's pretty nice and then it took a turn for the worst:( the person who asked me what kind of condiments I wanted was not so friendly in fact he was kind of rude. I asked for chicken which was one of the condiments and he said why do you need more you already have a chicken salad. Well why is it up there as a condiment! The cashier didn't say hello or smile or give any eye contact or at least a come again soon! Just rude! You would think they would be more nicer cause everybody knows Woodbrige restaurants are known to close down just as quickly as they were put up! I'm just saying...
