    Adobo Chicken Burrito
    Dan M.

This was a spot that offered burritos, burrito bowls, tacos, quesadillas, etc. They had customizable choices where one chooses the protein, rice, sauces, etc., but also had a wide range of prepared entrees. There were a lot of selections for every different category. The service was acceptable as I was telling them my order. I created my own burrito and chose adobo chicken ($9.35?). I went with brown rice, salsa verde, fajita veggies, raw onion, shredded cheese, and romaine lettuce. The burrito was poorly made as it fell apart immediately as I picked it up. I should have got it double wrapped, which usually does the trick. However, I prefer this than getting not enough filling. The chicken was flavored nicely but seemed to be missing something. I really enjoyed the fajita vegetables. Overall, it was a decent tasting burrito. Will I go back? Probably.

This ranks in the bottom of the Qdoba's I've been to. Although most of the staff was pleasant, they nickel and dime you (i.e., one dollar extra for X, only X amount of toppings, no complimentary side of chips, etc.) and the food doesn't taste the freshest. I haven't experienced anything quite like this before and won't be going back to this location.

I used to like Qdoba a lot in the past, lately I've been trying more again just because I feel there's some of lacking in consistency. It doesnt taste like it use to :( One time, I came for to go order. The lady behind the counter picked the bit of chicken that fell and put it back to the box. It's nasty! and I actually said something like " hey why did you put it back?'' and she probably doesnt understand good and no apology whatsoever she quickly added more chicken like I care? No! 2 stars is because the cashier always nice and friendly. PS : Imagine if I'm from the health dept and saw it, it's an automatic violation. Please please please DO NOT disrespect customer by picking fell food and put it back to my bowl. What if you're the customer? What if I'm the health dept or secret shoppers? Your business can get in trouble.\ I love Qdoba but please improve the flavor like it used too and cleanliness and professionalism is needed too. Sigh... I know it's tough to run a restaurant but this is a very simple thing that anyone work in the food industry should understand. Thanks

I absolutely love when qdoba has their soup, unfortunately it appears to be seasonal.

QDOBA is better than chipotle. I come to this location when in town at least once a week. The chicken is delicious and I often get the brisket with my burrito or bowl which is really good as well. They have a plethora of options to choose from especially their sauces and queso. What sets them apart from chipotle is there are more options and their basic entrees I think are better quality. If you haven't yet, give them a try! I'll stick to Chipotle and Taco Bell. I'll be nice, but in all honesty, it was a 1.5 experience. You walk in and it's deserted, dark, and dingy. The employees are a "meh" at best and nothing's being cooked. It takes 5 minutes to be recognized, 5 minutes for a 4 ingredient bowl, and 10 minutes to be checked out. Despite having a Yelp coupon, the manager argues and says she'll allow it, "Out of the kindness of my heart". I took it to go, as the dining area was neglected the whole day (overflowing trash and messy tables). The meal had some flavor, but the lettuce was wilted and yellow due to neglect (probably not kept cold and sat out all day). Will I be back? Definitely not to this location! Qdoba has some GREAT potential, but it is floundered by poor, careless employees.

As a native born Texican, I'm always a little wary of Tex Mex places around here...as Lyle Lovett…read morefamously stated, never eat Mexican food east of the Mississippi or north of Dallas. Words that I've lived by my entire life. But being a Tex-pat here in NoVA has had me exploring...and El Paso has been a restaurant that I keep coming back to. I've never been to this location before, but another app had mentioned that it was 3.4mi from my work, so I figured I'd try it out...I've been having a hankering for enchiladas this week and figured I'd scratch that itch. Since it's Friday, I decided to try the Enchiladas Rancheras, described as 2 cheese enchiladas topped with beef or chicken, served with lettuce, a tomato (not needed, I will omit this next time), sour cream and a side of rice and beans. Sounded perfect! I paired it with a bowl of queso and a water, because I'm still on the clock, otherwise it would have been a cold Modelo or swirl margarita. What was brought out to me was not lunch, but a time machine...taking me back to my college days and a meal that I've been chasing for over 20 years. The beef was stewed and tender, and paired with the cheese enchiladas it reminded me of hitting up Taco Cabana after the bars, ordering a carne guisada and a side of queso, mixing it all up together and diving in with chips. I wasn't planning on inhaling the whole plate (and queso too) but I did and even though I am in gastric pain, I do not regret my decision. Even though I'm sure I looked the fool, I closed my eyes while eating it and I was back there in College Station at 2:30am, listening to Cross Canadian Ragweed and having my whole life ahead of me. The food was THAT good...it actually took me back in time. The service was also excellent and attentive, and I wish I had the bravery to go back into the kitchen and shake everyone's hands. I will be coming back, I will be ordering it again (sans tomato) and I will be putting myself into a food coma once again. If you're looking for delicious Tex Mex food in the area, as a native Texan and a descendent of the Old Three Hundred, I highly recommend El Paso...they're a little bit of home right here in Northern Virginia.
