Ahí de gallina a lot of potatoes

Beautiful place great service. Food is tasty. Our favorite was the ají de gallina and the empanadas. My husband enjoyed his ceviche de pescado. My 3 stars is only because the music was on repeat and mainly because for the cost the serving size was small. I like big portions. We ordered the special which had the pork belly and empanadas and the sushi and the ceviche. That special was $85 but it felt more like an appetizer. The portions were very small, even though stacked very high in a beautiful decorative plate. Our waiter was super nice and I liked how they did not include the tip in the bill like most places are doing nowadays. I do wish they had a bar selection because their food is pretty. I could imagine their drinks being pretty as well but they are byob. Overall I think for the price, they could serve a little bit more food and perhaps give the cooked corn like they normally do in Peruvian restaurants when you sit down. The place and bathrooms were gorgeous the art the mirrors the lighting. everything was very nice and clean. I'm happy I went, but if I could do it again, I would've just got two regular plates. Perhaps I would've felt fuller. I didn't care much for the sushi it wasn't hot or as flavor packed as the others. I ordered dessert and ate the rice drank the water and had coffee only to feel full. So if you have a huge appetite, do not share that appetizer and a plate for 2. Also, on this rainy cold day I really appreciate warm food so those empanadas and the ají de gallina hit the spot , fresh and full of flavor. I also think my mistake was having the plates come out all at once because I feel like I was rushing to finish the ají de gallina to try the appetizers when I think that ají de gallina was my favorite plate there.

Food was delicious. The atmosphere is upscale, clean, and minimalistic. Everyone present went home with happy tastebuds and a full belly!

Came here on a Sunday night and it was quite empty. The restaurant was clean and spacious and the hostess greeted us with a friendly smile as soon as we walked in. We were a party of 9 and ordered multiple appetizers to share. We tried their Pork Belly Barriguita, corn, filet mignon and grilled octopus. The pork belly was Devine. The skin was crispy, meat was moist and tender and brilliantly paired with passion fruit sauce which helped balance out the grease and saltiness. I also really enjoyed the corn as it was buttery with a hint of citrus. The grilled octopus was super tender. The only thing that fell flat was the filet mignon. It was flavorful but overcooked and a bit dry. I ordered their salmon as my entree. The salmon was more like a medium well even thought I ordered for it to be medium. The sauce I thought was a little too overpowering and creamy for my liking. My husband ordered their red snapper risotto. Presentation was great (for the risotto and not my salmon) and although I didn't try it, my husband said it was really good. Overall, this restaurant is tucked away in a small plaza and is a great option for Peruvian food for family dinner or friends gathering. This is also a BYOB restaurant. Our server and all staff were extremely friendly and attentive. I would definitely go back to try out other items on their menu.

I've had so much Peruvian food in my life as I am Peruvian I love to try and support these restaurants. I was very excited to come here because I've never seen a Peruvian high end restaurant like this. I will say that I was a little disappointed but it was probably due to me choosing the food that I did. The only thing I would say was a 10/10 was the sushi! So flavorful and tasty. Would come back solely for that. However that kinda where it stops for me. The chicha morada was okay. The desserts were fine too. Not bad. But the entrees were lacking any flavor. I had the squid anticuchos and they were pretty dry and flavorless. My mom had filet mignon one and it surprisingly a little tough too. Also we came for this viral tiramisu that was shown on a lot of TikTok's and they did not have it and did not say when they will bring it back? Found that a little rude. Waiter was acting like what I was saying doesn't exist. Like I said maybe it was the things that i tried. I definitely want to try lomo saltado from there or tallarines verde. The restaurant itself was really nice inside with some Peruvian knic knacks

Great choice for a Nee Year's Eve lunch. All the food was delicious. My chupe de Camaron was hot and filled with shrimp. The ceviche was delicious. They make the best juices. My favorite is the one with honey. It's a BYOb location but the juices made up for the lack of alcohol. For dessert , Ive never had quinoa creme brulee. It was all great food and service.

For our anniversary, my partner and I were seeking a dining experience that was both special and memorable. Our search led us to Q'ERO, a Peruvian gem nestled in a convenient strip next to a hookah bar. The ample parking lot was a welcome sight, making our arrival stress free. From the moment we stepped inside, we were captivated. The interior is stunning. It is a masterful blend of trendy, modern architecture and authentic Peruvian charm. High ceilings with elegant drop down lights create a sense of grandeur, while artisanal vases and wall art provide a warm, cultural touch. The ambiance is upscale yet inviting. A particular standout was the seating. The marble top tables felt distinguished, and the chairs were, without exaggeration, the most comfortable I have ever encountered in a restaurant. My derriere has never been so pleased. Our evening was elevated to extraordinary by our server, Daniel. His energetic and attentive nature was matched only by his deep knowledge of the menu. He expertly guided us through the ingredients and the inspirations behind each dish, adding a layer of storytelling that enriched the entire meal. Daniel was not just a server. He was a highlight of the anniversary celebration. We began with mocktails. The Mango Pacha was a burst of sunshine. It was refreshingly strong on the mango flavor with a perfect hit of lemon. Daniel also crafted a custom Pacha Shirley, a delicious creation with a fascinating backstory that I highly recommend you ask for. My initial Chicha Sour was a touch too sweet, but Daniel noticed my hesitation and whisked it away without a second thought. It returned perfectly balanced with a robust sourness that was exactly what I wanted. This was a true testament to the impeccable service. For appetizers, we embarked on the Nikkei Ceviche tasting. This Japanese Peruvian fusion was a revelation. The Watermelon Tuna, Mango Shrimp, and the plantain based ceviche were a symphony of innovative flavors, each distinct and delicious. It is an absolute must try for any ceviche aficionado. Even more astonishing was the Maicito, grilled corn in furikake butter and truffle oil. As someone who is not typically a corn enthusiast, I can confidently say it was the best corn I have ever tasted. It was utterly addictive. Our entrees continued the high standard. My partner's Red Snapper Risotto with black squid ink and charred avocado was a masterpiece, with flavors that beautifully reminded me of the coastal fish from Kerala, India. My Short Ribs Seco, slow cooked for 42 hours in craft beer, was fall apart tender and infused with the wonderful heat of aji amarillo. My only minor critique was that my specific piece was quite fatty, though the flavor was so profound even the fat was enjoyable. The anniversary celebration reached its sweet climax with dessert. Daniel surprised us with a beautifully presented Pistachio Tart, adorned with a stenciled "Happy Anniversary" in cacao dust. It was a thoughtful and classy touch. We also sampled the Tiramisu, which was excellent, and the Quinoa Crème Brûlée. The latter was a unique concept, though the custard was slightly thin, which amplified the quinoa's flavor a bit more than we preferred. A thicker custard would have made it perfect. Overall, Q'ERO delivered a phenomenal anniversary experience. The innovative ceviche, exceptional entrees, and mostly hit desserts are complemented by a breathtaking ambiance and world class service. Daniel is a true asset to the restaurant. We left already planning our next visit to explore more of the menu. I cannot recommend Q'ERO highly enough. Just be sure to ask for Daniel.

An unsuspecting find in a small strip mall, one wouldn't think to find such a restaurant here. Service was warm and friendly, and we felt very taken care of. They don't serve alcohol, but they do have mocktails. Seeing that we brought our own tequila, they offered to put some in our drinks for us. We all got chicha sours, which weren't very sour but after adding tequila to them, the tequila was indiscernible. So, great for drinks! We started off with croquetas, which were seafood balls encased in a shell of squid ink. Very pretty presentation, and tasty, though I couldn't taste much squid ink. I guess it's just for show. We also got a ceviche dish, I can't recall which one, but it was fresh and flavorful. We also ordered the acevichado roll. I wouldn't recommend their rolls, the rice is flavorless and there wasn't no discerning taste. For our entrees, we had the branzino and the arroz con marizcos. The branzino was a little over cooked and flavorless, and the sauce it came on was too heavy and overpowering. Their version of a paella was too salty and contained very few pieces of seafood. We ended the meal with a crème brûlée made with quinoa. The top was not hard and the entire thing was very loose, almost soggy. I wish they had their liquor license as it would be nice to come again for small bites and drinks, but I wouldn't recommend it for dinner.

I honestly was not impressed by Q'ERO especially with it being a restaurant in the $50-100 range. My boyfriend and I came here for Valentine's Day. He made reservations for this restaurant weeks in advance for 8pm. I had this restaurant in mind for a while especially since it had Peruvian cuisine and my boyfriend is Peruvian so I thought it would be cool to try some Peruvian food for the first time. I had looked at their menu a while ago and I had an idea of a dish I really wanted to try because my boyfriend said it was one of his favorites when it came to Peruvian dishes. That dish would have been the Pappardelle Lomito. But unfortunately for Valentine's Day they had a special à la carte menu which was a smaller menu from their regular menu. So sadly none of the dishes I was looking forward to were available. For some appetizers we got one of the sushi rolls and skewers. Both were okay I wasn't blown away by the taste. As for my entree I got the red snapper and risotto and that was just okay. It had a nice taste but my food was on the colder side. None of the food tasted like it was made to order. It tasted like it was maybe sitting under a warmer or a bunch of the food was already precooked so things could move faster because our food did come out pretty fast which was awesome but it was cold. The food is aesthetically pleasing if you are looking for something instagramable but tastes wise it wasn't all that. The service was okay but could have been better. Our server kept coming to our table talking about to give him 2 minutes and he did that twice but my boyfriend and I were just patiently waiting. Our server was nice and he did apologize for the wait. I feel like it took longer to place our order than it did to get our food. We also had ordered some mocktails but they never arrived to our table and at that point we were okay with the water we ordered so when the bill came and we saw that they were on the bill. We asked them to be removed. Which the waiter did with no issue. Overall it was just okay but not worth the price point or the experience.

Q'ero Restaurant appeared on my Instagram. Local restaurant's grand opening today! We decided to make reservations! Such a wonderful welcome! Love the ambiance and decor! Met the Owner Amber who was so gracious in welcoming us! Enjoyed the entire meal! Appetizers: Smoke Causa Ceviche Trio Mixto Entree's: Served hot! Food was steaming! El Tacu de Salmon Pappardelle Lomito Dessert: Healthy version on Crème Brûlée with Quinoa! Also appreciate the complementary samplers. Amber took the time to explain each sampler. Yummy! Musician played traditional Peruvian instruments- the music was so lovely. Honored to meet the Chef Jose Luis Herrera! He came to our table twice! Highest compliments to the Chef! Our Server Enrique was great! I am such a fan of murals. And this mural was exquisite! Loved the colors and details. BYOB Mock tails available. Parking lot. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!

First off, the place is amazing with such a great vibe and music. The music is not too loud nor too quiet for a conversation and/or just vibing. It's fine dining and classy. The food does not just have an exquisite presentation but is also an oral orgasm. We got the ceviche, branzino, lomo saltado and bass. Service is good but can be better. The time we went, not much people but took a bit of time to even just get the desert menu but not taking anything off from it. The experience was still great.

We've been twice now and I can say that the food is really good. The ambiance gives more of an elevated feel for Central Jersey. The vegetarian options are somewhat limited so I always get the quinoa and this time around the tofu. Both are flavorful and beautifully presented. It's BYOB but their mocktails are also really delicious. Definitely worth giving a try!

Literally one of my new favorite restaurants!! The sushi rolls were amazing as well as the chicharrón. The main courses were amazing. We had the macho Lobster ravioli. Seco fibs and the squid paella! I highly recommend Q'ero. The ambiance was fantastic, the restaurant is beautiful!!

What a great spot! Don't be fooled by the outside/location. Once you get inside you everything changes. The space is beautiful with cultural accents throughout. The staff was nothing short of amazing. Everyone was extremely accommodating and ready to assist with any small thing. Shout out to our server Piero for his excellent service! The drinks (non alcoholic) were so tasty that you didn't even miss the alcohol. It is BYOB which is always nice. The food was incredible and I recommend getting an app, entrée, and dessert! 10/10 would recommend and I am definitely going back myself.

My husband ordered the tacu tacu with steak, but it felt like there were barely any beans in it. For the kids, we ordered salchipapa.
