Huge portioned ceviche de pescado. Absolutely outstanding.

Was in town for a conference and discovered this little gem of a restaurant in the nearby residential neighborhood. Amazing ceviche and lomo saltado. Very reasonable prices. Good service. Outstanding food.

I was craving for some Peruvian chicken so we Yelped and got takeout from here. It's right next to a huge cemetery so you don't really have much of a view dining in.. The lady working there was very friendly tho! INTERIOR - The place is pretty small with only 6 tables (for 4 people). Simple decor but clean! PARKING - No parking lot but there was a few spaces on the side next to the dumpster. FOOD - Huge portions appropriate for what you pay for. Great for sharing. THE SAUCE IS KEY! [1/2 ROASTED CHICKEN W/ FRENCH FRIES & SALAD] - $12 - The chicken was a bit dry and fell short of my expectation but with the creamy green sauce and the spicy sauce it was delicious! [BISTECK A LO POBRE] - $14 - Comes with fried banana, 1 hot dog, eggs, and white rice. Again, the steak was dry & tough, but with the sauce it was ok. Probably would've been better if they put fried rice instead of white rice. The fried banana was yummy! [CEVICHE MIXTO] - $14 - YESYESYESSSSSSSSSSS. This had a good assortment of seafood with fish & shrimp & half a crab, also huge pieces of potato and sweet potato, ALL DELICIOUS. Not too sour either. We loved this!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. [INCA COLA] - $1 - First time trying this and it was so good! Tastes like cream soda. Had just as much sugar as the regular Coke (39g) :p Very refreshing. Would love to come back and try some other dishes (hopefully with better meat)!

Wow wow wow. This is the best Peruvian chicken in this area. The roast chicken is flavorful, moist and tender. The green sauce is good. The portions are huge and you will not leave there hungry. I ordered the whole chicken with rice and salad with a side of tostones. They gave a full plate of rice enough to feed 4 and the tostones was also a full plate just for $3. The restaurant is on the small side with 6 tables. The decor is not fancy. However the food is great, service is fast and once again portions are big. I'm definitely going back and stuff my face.

I want to say first that peruvian japanese is one of my FAVORITE cuisines and I make an effort to go to them whenever I find them (best meal ever was a peruvian japanese spanish restaurant in Barcelona called Pakta which closed down since covid but was run by adria brothers too.) I love a good chicha morada. BYOB but they do have mocktails you can mix in if you want. The atmosphere and decor inside is wonderful-- you don't feel like you're in Edison. You feel like you're at least in Jersey City or something if not in the city. Modern date night decor and vibes. The prices are not cheap for the area, but I can tell you it is certainly worth it. The ceviche trio was excellent and extremely filling, as they gave huge portions! The amazonico roll was my absolute fave. pork belly on what looks like a sushi roll but doesn't taste like one?! Red snapper with squid ink risotto was perfectly cooked and seasoned, but I would've liked to see a sauce with it as it felt drier the way it was served. That's the only thing I likely wouldn't order again even though it was still good overall, but because I want to try other things on their menu. I'm already planning to be back in a few weeks and excited to try other things!

We specifically enjoyed the squid ink causa with crab meat appetizer and the pan-seared patches.
