Nice Peruvian place on Main Street in manville. We got the family style seafood platter and a whole chicken combo. The fried seafood platter had seafood fried rice, fried seafood, ceviche and mussels and it looked like almost every table was ordering it. The whole chicken was nicely roasted and had great seasoning. Service was great. Overall a great experience, will return to try some other dishes!

This was a small place with 15 or so tables as well as music being played. The menu had a number of options ranging from platters to rice dishes to pasta, all of the Peruvian style. The service was alright as the food took some time to come out as well as the check. The staff was friendly though. I went with a combination of the beef and chicken stir fry dish (Pollo y Lomo Saltado) ($19?). It came with red onions, tomatoes, soy sauce, vinegar, and cilantro mixed with French fries. It also came with white rice. This was well put together. There was a lot of flavor going on especially with the sauces that were provided. They seemed to be a green salsa as well as a sauce that resembled a Caesar dressing sort of. Regardless, they went nicely with the dish. My only issue was the French fries. They came out cold compared to the rest of the dish. I also tried a Peruvian rice dish that contained beef, chicken, and seafood. The seafood consisted of calamari and shrimp (not sure if anything else was in it). Again, this was well put together and both sauces enhanced the overall flavor. Will I go back? Yes.

Located in manville it's a small little place and might suggest calling ahead of you have a large group . They were pretty busy when we got there but service was great and staff was super friendly . They have a fairly large menu but everything on it sounds delicious. I ordered a sampler of Peruvian specialties I forgot the name but it has mussels shooters , a mixed fried seafood selection fish , calamari and shrimp along with a seafood paella. So good !! My husband ordered fried red snapper which was perfectly fried and full of flavor. I would definitely come back to try some of that yummy goodness

I travelled to Peru last year and since returning, I've been in search of a Peruvian restaurant that is as good as what I experienced. After many disappointing attempts, this restaurant is the first one I can honestly say lived up to my hopes and memories. My daughter and I dined on a Friday night. There was a good crowd when we arrived, but there was no problem getting a table without a reservation. I'm not sure when this restaurant opened place, but the interior looked fairly new. Comfortable and nice decor, not too formal or causal. But somewhat non-descript. With exception of the Peruvian music playing, it didn't seem like a Peruvian restaurant at all. More like a generic Italian or American place. The service was terrific! Everyone was so warm, attentive and friendly. The quality of the food was terrific and the portions were so generous. Neither my daughter or I could finish our meals. I had the pasta with Huacaina and Lomo Salteado (steak with onions, tomatoes) and it was amazing. The meat was juicy and lean and since I couldn't finish it, I took the rest home and it was terrific even the following day . My daughter had the El Clasico ( ceviche, fried fish, & squid and crab ) She loved it so much she kept telling me she was about to cry because it was that good. We then shared the Tres Leche cake and it was delicious! Not too soggy or sweet, just perfect. My only gripe and reason for 4 stars is the frustrating menu. They had a printed menu with description of the dishes, but no price. There was a QR code on the table that gave you the name of the dish only and price but no description and in a different order than what was on the menu. I had to match what was on my phone with what I was reading as a print out. This process took way too much time and effort. I understand that given all the seafood on their menu it is difficult to publish market prices daily. But I would rather just have a digital menu via QR code with name and description of dishes and prices in one location. That would make the ordering process a lot easier. The menu challenges are a minor issue. Still, I can't wait to return and bring the rest of my family to this gem. Do try this place before everyone finds out about it and reservations are needed for Friday nights.

This is a great upscale Peruvian restaurant in downtown Mannville. The Jalea and Lomo Saltado are amazing. I've been wanting authentic Peruvian cuisine since I started working at Open Road Mercedes-Benz and haven't found one restaurant that has anything like this yet. The prices are on the higher side, but the ambiance makes up for it. This restaurant reminds me a lot of the Latin food scene on Blackwell Street in Dover, New Jersey.

Randomly stopped by this restaurant during lunch time, and thoroughly enjoyed my meal! The service was amazing and the food that was recommended to me were absolutely delicious!

Finally I tried again and this second time I was able to try some of their offerings. I came on a Saturday and they were hosting DayLite Jersey House Music event. It was LOUD and packed with people just standing around. The vibes were cool though. My friends came before me and were able to snag a table in the back room. I went up to the counter to order. Unfortunately my first choice, a matcha latte, was sold out. I asked if they had any other options because I'm not much of a coffee drinker. I was told that there were flavored lemonades, I asked the about the flavors and the person who was helping me wasn't sure so they went and asked another person who ended up coming to list the syrups and just ringing me out. I ordered a blueberry lemonade and a blueberry pop-tart to go. Everything was fine until the end of our time there. As we were getting ready to leave I grabbed what I thought was my cup and took a quick sip to finish it off so I didn't have to carry it around. Turns out I grabbed a coffee from the table instead. I thought it was my friend's so I apologized to her about drinking her drink because I didn't realize I grabbed the wrong one in the dark. She goes, "oh no it's not my drink...I have mine in my hand." I'm like whose drink and dishes are these? She said that they were there before they got there and they just pushed it to the side. Omg I almost gagged, I just took the biggest sip of some random person's drink by accident. At that point I get up to go to the bathroom to rinse out my mouth. While I'm gone by friends get their things ready and also wait outside the bathroom, which is right by our table. As soon as I get out I walk back to grab my pop-tart and it was gone, cleared away by the staff in a matter of minutes. Crazy that they left the table with dishes and cups when we got there but when we were leaving they were in a rush to clear away everything that they take my basically full pop-tart too. I was so defeated at that point I just left. To note, I did take one bite of the pop-tart and it was actually very good. My lemonade was fine, nice and tart. Overall service is kinda lacking but it was also a crazy day to visit with an event going on so I can't really comment on how they are normally. I don't think I will back because I don't know if I can recover from swigging some rando's drink.

It has expanded and taken up a bit more space over the years, and the expansion is well-deserved. Featuring a Pura Vida Costa Rican flare you have a number of options available for both breakfast and lunch. I've tried quite a bit of the menu, but they are known for their tried and true empanadas. They have about half a dozen varieties and I end up getting at least one of each every time I visit. They're hot, big, flavorful, and the shell is a perfect consistency. The waitstaff is some of the friendliest around. The outdoor seating is also quite nice in the summertime alongside the pedestrian street. In terms of the menu, it's hard to say there is a standout, because I get something different each time, and I have yet to go wrong. I was looking for a good baguette in my neighborhood for a while. But as simple as a baguette may seem, making a tasty one is an art. I was running some errands when I suddenly felt pekish. I saw on Yelp that there was an "authentic French bakery" nearby and decided, "Why not?" Originally, I was thinking of getting a quiche, but as I got into the store, I decided to switch to an avocado egg sandwich. I am sure quiche is good, but I was impressed by the sandwich. It came on the plate with very fresh salad greens. Greens there fresh and sauce tangy, just what one needs to cut through the richness of avocado and egg. I think I had an entire Avacado cut on it. The avocado itself was just right. But the star of the show, for me, was a baguette! I inhaled the entire dish and asked if they sell baguettes on their own, which they do. The bakery associate told me they just ran out, but they are baking new ones now. If I wait 10-15 minutes, I will get a freshly baked one. I could not believe my lack. They came as promises and they were great, just smell alone was to die for There are so many other things I want to try, so I'll definitely be back. Thank you guys, you all made my day!
