There was an incident where I tried returning something, I had the receipt but not the tag. I've always been able to return something with the receipt. This one time he told me I was making his job harder without the tag and to not bring "this shit" back to him. I spoke with the manager about it and the manager said that was completely wrong and he shouldn't have said that.... Then yesterday I was shopping and heard him telling another employee that he was ready to beat a customer's ass... I get customer service can be very difficult as I have worked it myself but if you can't at least pretend to be nice which is your whole main job maybe find a new profession instead of being violent towards your customers. Been going here for a year or so since I retired as a hospital pharmacy director. I only have 3…read moreroutine meds so I'm not here often but every time I go I'm appalled at the staffs lack of customer service and lack of willingness to work with their patients (i.e. me). Today I stood in line to pick up a prescription that they placed on routine refills, is way too early, and they've text constantly over the last week to come pick up. As I reached the pick up counter I was told "um sorry it's past 1 PM and we close for lunch between 1 and 2". Me "so I can't pick up my 1 prescription?" Pharmacist, "no you need to come back in an hour". The pharmacy tech would have rung be up in 1 min tops (no co-pay) and I'd be gone. Now I'm pissed enough that I'll be transferring my prescriptions to Fred Meyer. I know these employees don't care but maybe if they go the way of Rite Aid they'll figure it out. Also, Why can't you all go to lunch in shifts and put patients first like we do in a hospital? You don't need to close. Patient care 101.
