I watched multiple customers being helped while waiting and every single one was met with attitude and gruff. These women need to be properly trained in customer service. Then yesterday I was shopping and heard him telling another employee that he was ready to beat a customer's ass... Been going here for a year or so since I retired as a hospital pharmacy director. I only have 3…read moreroutine meds so I'm not here often but every time I go I'm appalled at the staffs lack of customer service and lack of willingness to work with their patients (i.e. me). Today I stood in line to pick up a prescription that they placed on routine refills, is way too early, and they've text constantly over the last week to come pick up. As I reached the pick up counter I was told "um sorry it's past 1 PM and we close for lunch between 1 and 2". Me "so I can't pick up my 1 prescription?" Pharmacist, "no you need to come back in an hour". The pharmacy tech would have rung be up in 1 min tops (no co-pay) and I'd be gone. Now I'm pissed enough that I'll be transferring my prescriptions to Fred Meyer. I know these employees don't care but maybe if they go the way of Rite Aid they'll figure it out. Also, Why can't you all go to lunch in shifts and put patients first like we do in a hospital? You don't need to close. Patient care 101.
