They allowed me and another lady to stand outside in the cold air this morning when it was clearly time for the store to open it's doors at 5:00 am. No one even took responsibility to apologize to us for making us wait due to their inability to manage the clock better. I watched two employees walk after 5 am and they didn't even care if we waited a little longer in the cold. It only takes one time for me to get mistreated bad at your business, there's nothing this particular QFC store can do for me to bring me back there as a customer again. This is the worst supermarket in West Seattle. This QFC terribly understaffed, ridiculously overpriced (unless you are buying coke and "mac n' cheese"), often poorly merchandised (empty shelves, missing prices, poor selections), is under lit, and really is just a dump. I'd rather go to the even MORE overpriced Thriftway that is farther away, than stop at this store. No more. read more

I was getting Thanksgiving Dinner Shopping done here and got very bad attitude from deli worker, I asked her for something to use to get some items from the olive bar and she said that for me to wait because she was doing the best she could. I said no problem, and then I asked her for a lids to the containers that I had filled and she then said, "I am only one person, I'm doing the best I can". I told her this is a 24 hour store, so why is it taking so long to get the proper items for the olive bar, I mean they had all night to do it and I was there at 9:00 am. Now, I am in the service industry, and I don't want to give anyone grief, because I don't like getting rude customers attitudes too but I did not start this. I did not want to use my hands to get the olives, and I needed a lid to for the products. Finally, I got what I wanted and then asked me if I was "Happy", I did not want to make it worse so I just walked away. I know what good and bad service is, I know about attitudes, I know why people in service behave the way they do and it is because they do not get the support they need to get the job done properly. She was stressed, I was in a hurry not a good combination. If she needed help there should be help for her. Either she was pretty new, or I rubbed her the wrong way. But attitude like that is not good and for a business I would not like to have that person serving customers. read more

This QFC is definitely not my first choice when I need groceries, but when I'm in a pinch for time, I will shop here. Generally, their products are way overpriced and you're limited in choice. The layout of the store is semi awkward (having the beer section at the opposite end from the wine makes no sense to me). Seriously though, I've been here several times and have found expired items on their shelves. From organic bean dip and coffee creamers to cereal and crackers. It infuriates me that I now have to check everything I buy with such scrutiny. I should be able to trust such a high priced establishment to keep tabs on their inventory. The produce section is also limited and I've seen wrappers with gum wadded up and stuffed in between fruit. Tip: If you need to run to the store before a Seahawks game to pick up a few things, don't at this place. They had one cashier working and two of the self-check out machines were down at 10:30 in the morning! The ladies behind the deli counter are the only thing this store has going for them, they are very helpful and nice. read more

This QFC is the worse in West Seattle! Customer Service is horrible & the employees are so unfriendly & rude.

I shop at this QFC every week. I like the specialty coupons a lot that they send me, specifying on items I frequently buy. Great coupons. I like the organization of the store... easy to navigate. Their wine selection is good... I often try the ones on display and enjoy their well priced Malbecs (Argentinian wine). Overall, I am satisfid and routinely choose this store over Safeway.. BUT... one thing I feel compelled to yelp about is their staff!! Rob is GREAT... smiling, quick on his feet with a genuine smile. Bald black guy with the earrings (I apologize... don't know your name) is super friendly and festive during football season with his Hawks' gear. He always seems talkative and sincere. Desiree... young bagger- she seems to have been taught customer service pretty well. Good eye contact, etc. But then there's Wendy. Wendy always looks bored, annoyed and in a daze. She doesn't smile. She doesn't act interested in even PRETENDING to be in a good mood Her hair is a mess, she stands at the checkout slumped over and honestly... makes me avoid her line at all costs! With this economy, I bet QFC could find several applicants ready to work with a smile on his/her face. read more

I do not go to QFC's for my grocery shopping. For a few reasons(with * subpoints): -Their produce is (out site of M) the most expensive I've seen in a store that isn't organic. *The Quality IS pretty reliable but not usually Quite worth the price. -This place seems pretty much devoted to mostly single the middle aged and up who don't like to/can't cook their own meals. (LOTS of prepared stuff in single serving. It's a little depressing.) -The magazine section is mostly children's gift books (last minute/ no thought birthday presents for the negligent grandparent/aunt/uncle) and airline books. However I do get lunch, coffee and flowers here. Again the flowers and lunch are pretty spendy- but when I am on the run and I need flowers that are not wilted or just a bizarre combination I go here. read more

The renovation is a bust for me. It now has an odd and nonsensical layout. I have never experienced a store like it is now. Lunch meat is in one spot, while the cheese is in another location. Right next to the lunch meat is a wall of beverages. Maybe their new target audience is kids who want something to drink. There are less choices of a good number of items. When asked if I found everything I was looking for (by the day manager), I said no. That one item was no longer offered. No reaction. So please stop asking that question. I leave there now consistently not buying an item because it is no longer on the shelves. Ran out or not offered. I'm done. read more

This QFC was okay, I like QFC, but for this one I would only give 3 stars, I felt like I had more options in the one on Broadway on certain organic brands I like. But so glad to know they have a good variety of organic produce here too! Staff is pretty helpful, and the lady that monitors the self check out area was really great with checking IDs for who was paying for the alcohol! =) Overall, great produce and organized shelves and some pretty great prices on steak sometimes. TIPS: Its a little cold in there so bring a light sweater or jacket, also DONT FORGET YOUR REUSABLE BAGS!! read more

Two days ago I visited this QFC. The entrance to the store had a sign requiring the usage of masks. There was a security guard standing by the sign and appeared to be enforcing the rule, but standing directly next to the guard was a man not wearing his mask. The ICU nurse with me motioned to the man and the guard he needed to pull it up. The man covered his mouth but not his nose. The guard appeared unable to enforce what appeared to be a friend's behavior. QFC enforce your rules or suffer the loss of sales. read more

This QFC is very special to me! Its the first NW grocery store I ever step foot in and it was the only one my fiance would go to when he loved here by himself. So, I am biased. The employees are incredibly kind and are helpful when you seek them out. I always go at night so I never encounter long lines. read more

This QFC is just okay. The prices are higher than a normal grocery store yet the interior isn't anything special. It's actually slightly sub-standard. I mean, if I'm going to pay an extra two bucks for a bag of chips, I'd hope to buy it from a nicer looking place, kwim? I wish this place had a salad bar (rather than just the prepared salads) like the other QFCs do now. In fairness to QFC, it's worth coming here and just buying the items that are on sale, as the prices are good. The Smart Water is almost always on sale, which is perfect for those days I forgot to fill my Nalgene before hitting the gym. The magazines are convenient to purchase for my treadmill usage as well. And don't tell them gym, or my thighs, but the mac and cheese from the deli is top notch. The service is always friendly, which I definitely appreciate. There's nothing like getting ripped off price-wise in a not-so-nice store and then having the checker look at you like you've ruined his life. I've found everyone to be friendly here. Love the checkers, have yet to meet a rude one. Deli is hit and miss. Tonight I went in to get my weekly supply of lunch meat and the deli was closed at 8:30pm instead of 9pm like the sign indicates. Meat slicers are NOT hard to wash, sanitize, and store, so even if they are short staffed they should be able to manage a few lbs of lunch meat. I've worked in a deli before, so I know the procedure. This is the 4th time I've gone in between 8pm and 9pm to be told the deli was closed. As a regular, I really dislike coming on here and saying anything, but its really frustrating when this is the only time I have this week to get my shopping done. Just be forewarned, they close the deli before 9pm on a semi-regular basis. Change the sign if staffing is forcing you to continually close earlier than you're "supposed" to. read more

I went to this Westwood Village QFC customer service desk on 3/30/17 around 6:15pm there is middle-age African-American guy who is ware glasses and golden earrings doesn't seem like to help anybody and had lots attitude during that time. The way he talk to me is very rude too. So I even didn't finish shopping then left the store right away. If you don't want have same experience like this. Earlier this morning my boyfriend's bicycle was properly locked directly in front of this store for 20 minutes as he shopped, during which time it was stolen. He politely asked the store manager if perhaps they could review the security camera footage for evidence (one was situated prominently right above the scene of the crime), and was told no. This store is simply terrible. Rude staff, always dirty deli meat and cheese slicers, hair in their salads, employees eating food behind the counter, shelves full of outdated products. I don't understand all the poor reviews. While definitely not the nicest QFC in town it is the nicest grocery store in this part of town. I have always received fine service and have a witnessed others receiving fine service. The selection far exceeds the Safeway down the road and the store is far cleaner and sanitary. For being just several blocks into Seattle this store also seems much safer than the Safeway in White Center. read more

I love this store. I bought 3 cakes and a young lady [ Allie ] make them look Beautiful , like a cake costing 3x the prices. All their bakery goods are delicious ! The deli is always fresh and clean and the workers [ Miquel in particular ] Always greet with a smile' Kristopher is a gem,and has helped me to my car with my cart when I went overboard. Bottom line The Measure of a company is the people . Many have worked there for 20+ years , They like their jobs and it shows. It doesn't get any better than this. read more

Their selection is good- not great but definitely satisfactory overall I d say this location at least - is better than any Safeway I have ever been to in terms of quality. I really like the staff that works there they are great. The issue is the homeless population that has taken up court there. Once there was a gentleman that was drunk in the ladies room, and laying on the floor so no one could use it. Almost every time I walk into that store there's people running out of the door stealing items. You always tend to hold your purse a bit tighter when you walk through their doors. I once actually had my drink stolen from Starbucks,at the pick up window. There was a teen hoodlum sitting on the bench out front drinking it. Horrible service. Make rules as they go. No consistency. Treat customers differently! Item on sale states limit 5 per person so my aunt and cousins decided to carpool there. We grabbed 15 and went to check out. "Sam" (he's middle aged African American guy with an earring) came up and said we can't get all of these items. He was very rude in the way he says it. I said we have 4 people and we only want to buy 15 even though the limit says 5 per person. He said we have to leave some for other customers. Aren't we customers too? So if we were to come in separately and check out separately we will be able to buy 5 each? But because we came together (even tho we do separate transaction ) we couldn't. Also, apparently we are not important enough to be in Sam's book as customers. He want to save these items for his VIP "other" customers. These people make up the rules as they go. Last time I went by myself and grab sale items for my family and my aunt's family. They told me I couldn't do that and my aunt needs to be there to buy it herself. So this time I brought them and they told me we couldn't buy the sale items. We can only buy 5 of the sale items for the 4 of us. Bulls! Avoid if possible. Sam needs to be fired! Bathrooms=dirty and smelly!!!! Please clean the bathrooms better QFC. It seems like you have gone down hill in how clean the bathrooms are. Years ago they were so clean and nice. Lots of druggies and homeless people holding signs and people stop giving them money and they will go away from that area. watch out for the beggars in the parking lot and also outside the bookstore, one guy had a baby asking for money. I really feel like this QFC has gone down hill the past few years!!! I have gone there and the floors are all sticky and dirty. They seem to be stocking items all the time and it is hard to shop. And many times things are not stocked on the shelf, like bread and nice good looking grapes and other items. Make sure to check the dates on the food. Some of the people who have worked there for years and not friendly at all and are rude. Some of the people are friendly thou. The deli people are nice and even cut up meat very early in the am when they are trying to stock up the deli case and thanks!!!!! I hate the self scanner in the am, since if someone is not close to it =it does not work and keeps saying I need help. I do like the top pot donuts, just wish you would get them in the case a lot earlier in the am, since some of us do go to work very early in the am. I love this QFC at Westwood. While I agree that some of their prices are higher than at other stores, they're still a LOT lower than some of the more precious snobberies like the West Seattle Thriftway, PCC Markets, or Whole Foods. The customer service here is really good as well. It's worth noting that the vast majority of the 1-star reviews here seem to be from impatient folks who can't cook so they go to the deli and expect the world to revolve around them. Every time I've needed anything in the main part of the store, customer service goes out of their way to find the product I'm looking for -- sometimes even taking my phone number to call me back later if they can't find it right away. Plus, the store is perfectly-sized. Not one of these 2-block long monstrosities with entire aisles devoted to 329 different kinds of coffee products, or 271 types of mustard. Americans have become so damn spoiled an entitled, it's a shame they can't appreciate that what we have is MORE than enough. read more

They have most anything you'd expect to find at a typical grocery store. They're open 24 hours, which is convenient. Parking is always easy to find. They also have a lot of fresh, organic produce (unlike other chain grocery stores in the area). The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the checkout lines are never too long. They have a good selection and the shelves are usually stocked well. Prices are slightly higher than Safeway and Albertsons, but you definitely get better quality here. read more

This store is like a parasite factory. It has a very dirty wash room,and sometimes no soap or towels. The prices are too high.It does have a very good deli with good a variety. The meat department is fair, but safeway has better choices. The produce area seems to have flies, and not enough organic fruits. I go there because it is in a strip mall with alot of other stores nearby. The grocery carts are out side, usually wet. and have paper in them. Boy....you guys have it right about the staff!!! I'm from the Spokane area where people appreciate having a job. I visit my mother in this area 5 or 6 times a year and this is the closest store to her home. My major complaint is that there are never enough checkers at the registers, or baggers. Most of the time they do act like they're doing you a "great favor" waiting on you and they can't wait to take their "break". The baggers are even worse, insolent and slovenly. I used to be really pleased with this QFC as they had a stronger than most selection of organic produce and healthier choices. Since the renovation began, however, the organic selection has greatly dwindled. All the isles have changed inexplicably, making it really hard to find basic staples. I seek out RBST free dairy products and have noticed that items that are hormone free have decreased as well. I guess it's back to Whole Foods after work for me again. I will change my review if they bring back a better selection of organic items, and hopefully rectify the new confusing isle layout. read more

This is normally my 4th string grocery store but after last night I will not even consider it again. I go here only when I am already at Westwood as the staff have proven in the past to be generally unhelpful with consistently less than pleasant experiences. Last night I went in to buy a few things and there was a horrific line half way up the nearest isle as they only had one cashier. An elderly lady in line asked the QFC employee walking a new bagger around the store for another checker and the lady snobbishly said they would call one up in a few minutes as if it was a privilege for us to shop at their store. Maybe a 2.5 star act. It's the quintessential QFC that happens to be there when you go to visit Target or the gym. From exterior to interior, the whole place bears a sense of having seen brighter days. Even the Top Pot doughnut cabinet as you walk in looks tired and despondent. The employees are cheerful enough but always in a business as usual mode. They do have a decent cheese section, an olive bar, a hot deli and the selection of brands you'd expect from this chain. It's not that it's not clean in there, but it feels shabby, if that makes any sense. I've been visiting this location for years since I joined the gym around the corner and Westwood Village has long been the only real major shopping center in West Seattle, so it's hard to avoid it. Since moving my membership to another gym I rarely frequent this QFC. If you can't bear the idea of driving all the way to Metro Market, PCC or the Admiral Safeway, you go here because it's close and they have something that will suffice. read more

Food poisoning and outdated food, from the most over-priced grocery chain in town. After 4 returns in a year, we gave up. Even the Boar's Head was bad. $14 a pound and it was rotten. I don't think Boar's Head was at fault. If you must shop here, watch out for the mice (the poor things were hiding under the shelves in the olive oil aisle), and check the dates. One of our returned items was a can of no-name parmesan cheese almost two years old. If you live along Delridge this is the only grocery store for miles, unless you travel to the Roxbury Safeway. Delridge/Highland Park needs more options. read more

I shop here probably three times a week. Ever since it opened as a QFC. The store staff is nearly without exception friendly and helpful -- especially the staff in the produce section and the checkers. When I have had a product that was past pull date or was bruised or deteriorating in some fashion, there has been no problem returning the product and taking home a replacement. read more

One star for the doing-the-best-they-can-under-awful-circumstances staff. We all endured the interminable confusing unpleasant-for-all remodel - which to my surprise has been declared complete. It looks dingy and not remotely complete to me. Was in yesterday and floors sure didn't look "finished" to me. In any case, pre-nightmarish remodel, they had a great selection - my totally go-to store. They had everything i needed. Now, not so much. Just yesterday i couldn't find the yogurt, tea, salad dressing, ice cream or juice i wanted - and all of which i was previously able to find and purchase. For a long time during remodel I couldn't find anything, nor could the staff. Now it's not a question of finding things, they just don't have them! It's hideous and not worth it. Looks like i'm going to need to go farther to a different store, rather than wasting my time at this QFC. Why take the time searching only to be repeatedly disappointed and ultimately to leave the store with half the items still unaccomplished on my list. Why, QFC, why???? read more

Went into the store to grab lunch and was followed around by their security guard for like 10 mins named Eddie I saw him come by me atleast 3 times on the 4th time I handed him my groceries and promptly left. When I spoke to a store manager Mario he was apologetic but really didn't do anything to make me feel more welcome. When I told him I had become suspicious that was being followed I tested my theory by going down a couple of different aisle and promptly having him show up. He said you shouldn't start testing them and just come and talk to management sooner. I'm not going to accuse someone of something unless I'm sure something was happening. I am never going to shop at thus location again and might be done with qfc and kroger altogether. I felt embarrassed and like my intelligence was being insulted that I couldn't see what was going. read more
