Quan nails came recommended by a trusted source. Unfortunately, my experience there was not one I'd recommend for anyone to experience. The customer service was nice and staff was sure to answer questions. The problems began when my pedicure was being done-my cuticles were trimmed down too much which would later on lead to me having to be seen by medical staff due to the inflammation. The employee that did my full set cut some of my cuticles to the point that it was sore and splitting- while prepping my nails i was asked if I was okay with cutting my nail tips down after the employee had already cut down four- additionally while clipping my nails from moving too fast the employee ended up cutting some skin off the top of my thumb nail. This seems as if he was rushing to get done but later on took time with doing my nails. When it was time to paint my nails i asked for a neutral color base and to add green in somewhere as my toes were painted that color. The quality of the completion of nails came with a bit of an abstract design which grew on me however there were nail bubbles in the paint that began to peel. Additionally for the price I was charged had the nail tech informed me that he was going to be adding designs to all my fingers and charging me for it I would have declined because it wasn't what I asked for. They definitely have a lot of OPI gel and regular polish options. The ladies working here are nice and conversational. They seem to be a close knit group. I'm 9 months pregnant and they were very accommodating in helping me on and off the spa chair. They also offered helping me get to my car since they had to give me disposable flip flops. The gel manicure was well done but my nails were cut down a bit too short. I had a regular polish change on my toes and that was done really well too. They filed my toenails down a bit which I appreciate! They switched nail techs on me (one for mani one for pedi) so I had to tip two different people again. My total was $55 for gel manicure and toe polish change. The removal of my previous set was done so well that I was able to keep my natural nail, this is rare these days with nail removal. I hate to come back and have to update my review but there has been a consistent pattern of the last 3 times I've had my nails done, within DAYS of getting gel (not exaggerating), 1 to 2 of my nails chip. Professional and friendly, they have been doing my nails for almost 3 years and I'll never go anywhere else. I've tried the fancy, the hole in the wall, and everything in between when it comes to nail care. Tiffany and her staff always adjust what to do based on how my last set were holding up. I do my own yard work and visit the gym often, so I can be pretty hard on my hands. Sometimes I'll need acrylic nails-like during the summer for all my outdoor hobbies and, sometimes I just need the dip because I'm going to be super busy at work. It's nice to have someone help you figure out what will last longer depending on your lifestyle. A few times I've wanted an image (like lemons or a flower) on my nails for a specific event and they've never disappointed me. Update: This remains an unprofessional business that I do not recommend at all. There is a place I went to that does a great job, however, I went here because it is closer and I had no complaints before they changed staff (very recently, last 1.5 months or so.) Even thought it's further, I went back to PJ's Nails on Bee Caves and it is well worth the extra 10/15 min drive not to deal with certain staff at this business and having gel manicures peel off completely and other nails chip starting the day after the manicure. I would give negative stars if I could. I was never contacted about fixing my or my mother's nails even though I reached out via social media and several vm (the allotted time for each vm was not nearly enough to explain the situation and all the problems we encountered.) Apparently the owner is unprofessional as well, and is not interested in keeping regular customers. Also, she did not even have the decency or courtesy to respond to my voicemails, my post on here, take any responsibility or accountability on behalf of her staff, much less apologize. This is no way to run a business, and I wasted $120.00 here for my mother and myself. My credit card company even contacted them and they were not willing to do anything to rectify the situation. According to them, as long as they provide a service, however poor/damaging (bleeding nails and cuticles) it may be, they don't have to resolve or fix the situation, even if hypothetically both of our gel manicures had completely peeled off by the next day; since we left with color on our nails, the service was rendered (according to this company). Even my credit card company said usually businesses were happy to work with customers to solve the problem or at least come to a mutual agreement. OPI: nada. Nothing. Come here if you want a mediocre job, lots of waiting, and for the same price you can get much better quality of work (not to mention a better business with a relaxed, quiet atmosphere. First, the GPS doesn't take you to the right parking area. I had called the day prior to make an appointment. The nail tech didn't know about the Yelp deal. I got there, I was greeted immediately. They looked understaffed. I sat in the pedicure chair. The tech didn't offer the control to actually use the massage chair. I was looking forward to that. She gave a massage with the service to arms and calves, she obviously didn't know what she was doing, working too deep. I asked her to stop. I only wanted the basic manicure and pedicure.
