I was have a great experience at QPI with one of the younger nail techs. Towards the end of my experience an older lady comes yanks my hand and say they added an extra line they had added across my fingers was $5 more. Had she given me a second to speak I honestly would have just paid for the extra. Before I get a minute to speak, she sits down and starts painting over all my nails! She cures each hand less than 30 seconds so they were still wet as she put the top layer on. Then she goes around the edges and SCRATCHED EVERY SINGLE NAIL, and my thumb nail now has one rounded side and one straight side. And there are a few bubbles from the shitty top coat layer that lady did. I sat in my car after with a nail file to correct the shape myself. So within 7-8 mins this older lady RUINED a perfect manicure that the younger nail tech had done. Terrible. Extremely unprofessional, rude and poor customer service. A good manager would have explained the pricing to his staff so this confusion wouldn't have happened in the first place. Then he would have let $5 slide because it was a mistake by the nail tech. But ether way had I had a minute to understand what was happening I would have just paid the extra $5. I just want to make sure everyone knows what can happen at this salon, if one of older techs decides to be in a mood. I will never come back. read more

I was so impressed by how clean it was and the different steps they take to ensure it stays clean. That is my biggest concern going to a new nail shop. My daughter and I loved the huge selection of gel polishes. So many fun styles and colors. Alex was great and Hannah was sweet. Walked in with my 3 year old today. They were busy but we still only waited maybe 10 minutes. There were people that walked in after us and only wanted their toes done so they were helped first. One of the ladies who works there still made it a point to let me know why she was grabbing them before us even though I understood that she did toes and we were waiting for nails, and then brought my daughter a Capri sun which I appreciated. Alex did a great job on my nails and even put a free design on my daughters since she was so patient. She even asked if we could get our toes done next time. Really happy with my gel manicure. Lots of staff, quickly worked in, but not rushed! I was with Ann, she was very thorough. Often the "manicure" part of a gel manicure gets neglected because of time. She went around every edge and cleaned up dead skin and cuticles etc.. Perfectly polished & finished. Inspected by whom I am guessing is owner, made a correction w/a bubble in my finished coat. They pay attention to detail! I was also very pleased to see level of cleanliness, especially w/personal tools coming out of sanitizing and sealed in individual packs!! clean, nice salon with courteous workers. i asked for a french manicure gel, and the total was 35$ (excluding tip). the nail technician was so detail oriented. they gave me a bottle of water and went to work!! i would 100% come back. i felt so welcomed and relaxed. my only complaint is i wished they had more colors. i was searching for the perfect pink for my french manicure and had to settle with a nude / see through pink. perhaps next time i'll get a mini back massage. i should have asked if there was a deal / package for that. read more

Had such a great experience the first time and decided to come back here again with my mom. Wanted apple red nails with gel and a design on the ring finger. I told them that at a previous salon they did powder and then gel on top to leave a thin overlay for the gel. The technician told me he had red powder that would make my nails the color I wanted. Long story short my nails came out a lighter red almost pink but I didn't complain since I thought the nails looked ok and needed to leave. The very next day the top coat chipped on two of my nails. I came back and they tried fixing by adding top coat but ended up redoing my entire nails and brushing the powder instead of dipping. By doing this the nails came out more red like I wanted (yay) and I left happy. The next day the top coat of 4 nails chipped and soon the powder coat chipped too. I wasn't being physical with my hands to maybe justify the breakage and I've never had the top coat chip so quickly with gel. I'm not coming back since this salon is somewhat out of the way for me and I dont have time to get them redone... again. I appreciated them fixing it once but hate the fact that the same issue happened twice. read more

When I called to ask to see if an appointment was needed they said yes and then stated "you can come now". Made an appointment for a later time because I was not available during the "now". They didn't even ask for my name and I had to be like "my name is ____ by the way." When I get there they didn't even have a notebook, check in anywhere that confirmed they actually booked my appointment. I get there and am looked at blankly like why I am even at the nail salon. I simply state I want a manicure and pedicure. They again just look at me. Ask if I have an appointment and I said yes. Then I say my name. They don't even check anywhere to see my name or appointment time. After getting stared at by the whole salon I simply state "I can go somewhere else if you'd like?" And they said "yes go ahead" in front of the whole establishment. When I was honestly willing to wait even if they forgot to schedule my appointment . They charge you $1 to pay with a credit card and say cash tips only. Who carries cash these days? Plus contactless payment is a preferred option at most institutions during Covid. I feel like having a credit card as form of payment should be standard business practice and not an extra charge to the customer. My pedicure was mediocre. I was visiting from LA and decided to take my 6 year old for a mani/pedi. They were okay with my daughter. I had to wait about 20 mins to be seen. The lady doing my toes was good and attentive. They automatically assumed that once my toes were done, I was completed. I reiterated that I came in for manI/pedi with gel. They didn't do the gel on my toes, which I dismissed as a miscommunication and oversight. When I asked about where I should sit go for my nails, they made a big issue. The forced me to put on my socks and shoes, which consequently ruined my pedicure polish. The man rushed through my manicure and gel polished nails. It's been 8 days and they're already chipping off. He also made extremely rude comments about my daughter. She is a mix of Cambodian/Chinese/Thai and he continued to make comments about her mixed heritage This was incredibly offensive. Not to mention, her manicure and pedicure lasted LESS THAN ONE DAY! During my manicure (which lasted less than 15 minutes from start to finish) he took a personal phone call about ordering facial Products, this was unprofessional and should have been attended to during personal break time and not while with a client. I visit Utah every year and I will NEVER return to this location and the numerous family and friends that I have in the area will never give this place their business. read more

Update! Manager response was timely and helpful- thank you Alex! Walked in for gel manicure on a Sunday, didn't wait too long. Color is pretty but the girl was obviously in a huge hurry to get me done & I had to ask for the top coat on my right hand because she skipped it. Color was left on my cuticles & not as cleanly painted as I would expect. I paid $30 for a polish change, not a manicure, and to me there's a difference. Changed the polish and rubbed lotion on my forearm for literally 5 seconds. Not what I've experienced elsewhere for the same price. My cuticles are still rough and dry from the trim and acetone. I'm also not a fan that she used the sander - I prefer the foil wrap to remove the gel. Will go elsewhere next time. Bummer cause they're open Sundays. read more

The reviews are right--this place is very friendly and sparkly clean. They did a nice job painting my toenails, too, very crisp and sharp with no smudges. The massage chairs are comfortable, they offer you a free drink, and they take walk-ins. Nice! So why only three stars? Well, it's the little things that separate an "a-ok" pedicure from a spectacular one. First off, they plopped my feet in the soaking tub with a few inches of water (which was fine), but then they turned the faucet on and poured straight hot water into the tub, right on top of my feet. Ouch! Then they were pretty aggressive with the exfoliation. I'm a runner, so the bottoms of my feet can be tough, and they went after them without reservation. It left the bottoms of my feet really raw and really tender for several days--definitely not fun. They also nicked one of my cuticles with the trimmers and it became infected the next day, which was kind of disconcerting. Finally, they started my nails without consulting me first on what I wanted. I'd planned on getting gel, but they just started painting the regular base coat without asking me first. By the time I realized what they were doing, they'd already painted two nails and gel wasn't an option anymore. I think they were just in a hurry (it was close to closing time), but I was kind of bummed. So...overall, I'm not sure if I'll go back. They were really, really nice, and they stayed about 15 minutes after closing time to finish my pedicure, but parts of it were uncomfortable or downright painful. I may give them another shot, but I still have my ear to the wind for a great nail salon in this end of the valley. read more

I thought we'd give this place a try based on others reviews. Well where to begin...first I asked for two pedicures and add hot stone to my husbands pedicure. He didn't get the hot stone but I did, second he picked a chrome polish and asked if they could put a matte, flat topcoat on. They said yes then tried to paint his toes black, apparently they don't listen. Then they said they can only do shellac matte. Then I asked for a shellac manicure and she clipped my cuticles and made two fingers bleed. And when we got home both our toes have already chipped apparently we didn't get any top coat. Which is too bad seeing as we are headed to Hawaii for two weeks with chipped polish. read more
