Lychee Passionfruit Smoothie, 50% sweet, boba

This is a homey boba tea shop. It has both food and drink selections. I've tried the sunrise tea in the past with lychee jelly, 50% sweet, and less ice and it was delicious. This time, I ordered the Lychee Passionfruit smoothie with 50% sugar and boba. It was still a little bit sweet for me but the flavors were great and the blend of the flavors were perfecI love how you can customize your smoothie flavors at this place. They have a vast variety of flavors for slushes/smoothies including avocado, blueberry, and kiwi. Also, their prices aren't as high as other chain locations. The service is always pretty fast and the cashiers are pretty friendly too. This is the perfect place to hang out with your friends and grab a bite to eat or drink. During COVID: Came back to this place again, and it's still my go-to boba place. Didn't know it was curbside pick-up only until I got there, but their service was incredibly quick regardless. Called their phone and ordered through the phone. The service was fast and the tea was delicious. I've always liked and ordered the fruit teas as one of my favorites is the Sunrise green tea. I would definitely recommend getting 70% or 50% sugar if you don't have a big sweet tooth. It's refreshing for a hot summer day and has a lot of flavor. It contains a variety of fruit flavors that I don't recall, and it makes a nice refreshing summer drink.

4.5/5! I really like this boba place. I've been here a few times to grab a drink and to study, and it's always met my needs. There always seems to be an open table for studying. The staff are nice as well and super friendly. I liked the quality of the boba and milk tea! Having gotten the regular milk tea and taro, I can say that they're super good for taking a sip in between going over lecture slides. The food is also pretty good for snacking if you ever get hungry, too. What's going to keep me coming back is that they still use the same punch card from when I first came 4 years ago! I can still come and rack up some stamps to redeem my free drink ^_^

Less alcoholic than the AA teahouse, less sexy than my BB, and with way less CCs up top, and nowhere near DDs (or whatever they are now... HH?). Some of the drinks taste so bad you're go EEwww, but I don't give a FF, I'll still GGive them another try in future, even after Barbie goes bigger than her current HH. Because II am kinda addicted, sort of like JJ (Watt) is addicted to winning at football. Bubble Tea is the best thing in the world, while the KKk is the worst, or thereabouts. LL Cool J told me so. I feel MMpty when I haven't had Boba in awhile, and there's NNo choice but for me to go and buy one. Once I taste it I go OOhhhh. Then I run to the bathroom and take a PP (like I did at QQ), and if you RR sympathetic with this then I SSuppose you may have the same bathroom issues. But back to Barbie's spectacular TTs. If UU want to see more of them, be VVery nice to us and I'll give you this link: WWw... oh wait I can't put than on here because it's XX rated. YYelp is not the place for that. Damn I'm tired time for ZZs. Now that the fun is over, I have to be honest. I have been consistently disappointed by all of my trips here. I do believe they are related to the Taiwanese place next door which we don't really like either - despite its wild popularity. The Boba here has been some combo of average and "doesn't really rock my world." The service on the other hand is absolutely spectacular - and some of the nicest in town - and that's why it ended up with four stars. Based on the products alone, I would have given 3. Based on the way Barbie looked, I would have given 103. But if you're waiting for this place to give you an amazing Boba drink, join the QQ.

I LOVE this place! It was my go-to study place in high school (literally spent hours here) and I love their boba! Drinks 5/5 My top three drinks are thai milk tea, coffee milk tea, and fruit cup! The boba isn't sweet, but the texture is pretty good. Food 10/5 Ya'll have to try the popcorn chicken! It's by far my favorite and inexpensive (~$5 for the snack, ~$7 for the meal which comes with popcorn chicken, potstickers, and veggies). They also serve ramen that tastes really good, a bit more expensive, but definitely a good price! Atmosphere 5/5 It's super chill, there's music playing and people from church or Plano Senior are normally there. Definitely a great place to meet up with friends or study on your own.

The whole milk tea and boba drink fad was so 2000 for me. After college, I never crave milk tea anymore, but QQ just changed my mind. QQ teahouse is the new kid in town, and they sure know how to show everyone else what's up. I got the classic milk tea with pudding. The large is definitely huge, and it's in one of those stout and fat cups. This type of cup is very popular right now especially in Houston and California, so I was excited to get this novelty cup. For $3.50 for a large, it's definitely a steal compared to $5.00 in Houston. The milk tea was rich and creamy, and the sweetness was perfect. They sell snacks like french fries and chicken nuggets in addition to the drinks, but they ran out when I was here. The ambiance is quite nice, and I got my drink immediately. This is a great place to study (especially since UTD is around the corner), or just to hang out with friends. It's family owned and operated. The parents work in the back while the kids help out in the front. They are really good kids with a lot of manners. I love small business like this. This is my new favorite hang out place, and the milk tea is da bomb y'all.

What I like: Free WIFI with no pw! The super cute large cups (I dont care if it doesnt fit in my cupholder. Hurry up and drink it so you can drive. Don't get it and then complain about it when you can obviously see that it doesn't fit your cupholder) Thai tea was not too sweet and not too milky. It was just right! spacious tables and chairs so your conversations doesn't overlap with others This is a family own and they're all very sweet and friendly. I would definitely come back to try other teas! I love their large cups!!! so different and cute!

This place is close to both my work and church, so I'm always seeing people I know when I walk in. It's a nice place to work if you can grab one of the tables near an outlet, and a casual place to hang with people and just chat. In the summers some of the seats near the windows get pretty hot, so be aware of that when you sit down. I've enjoyed the jasmine and earl grey teas here, and I also really like their wintermelon black tea offering; I've found that a lot of places in the metroplex don't have wintermelon tea on the menu, which is a shame because it's so good! I also enjoy that their large size is a big ol' tub of tea. You can also customize for amount of sugar and amount of ice here, which is nice. I've had the ramen here, as well as the popcorn chicken rice and the braised pork rice. Solid if you're looking for a quick Taiwanese-style fix with your boba, but other places have bigger portion sizes and higher quality fare. Still, though, it's convenient and easy, which are big pluses. The servers and cashiers are always friendly and helpful.

We only tried the drinks. They were decent. We ordered hot honey milk tea and iced oolong milk tea with boba. The tea flavor was average for both. The boba was good, but not great. The hot milk tea was lukewarm. A lot of their drinks use powder like the avocado or taro milk tea, which I'm not a big fan of powdered drinks so be aware of that. This place is cute, good service, clean good vibes and an area to sit and play games or study.

QQ Teahouse is a must go! I love basically everything on the menu! Some of my favorite drinks include Thai tea, wintermelon milk tea, peach lychee slushee, sunrise green tea, and just their classic green tea! They have all sorts of toppings from boba to pudding to grass jelly and to popping boba! They also have delicious snacks such as their popcorn chicken and potstickers. Basically they have everything you could ever want!

Had lunch here the other day. I meant to walk into the adjacent restaurant, but I walked into this place. I saw the tea bar setup at front, but they had a nice menu display. Place was, setup for what I would call, cozy casual dining. Outside of the patio seating, and the indoor dining, you have leather chairs if you just want to sit and chat/drink tea. So they are a teahouse, but you can order food. I ordered a pork dish, and I have to say, it looked exactly, if not a little better than the menu pictures on the wall. I ate the food. It was excellent. Colorful veggies. I decided to try the tea. ...since I was at a tea house. It was great. How can you go wrong with Thai flavor tea. They have many flavors.

I'm usually QQ's number one fan but my experience today left a horrible taste in my mouth both figuratively speaking and otherwise. My daughter ordered her same drink that she's been ordering here for over 2 years that we have never had an issue with. Just so happened that today someone new made it and the taste was very off. More bitter than usual. We let them know and they said that they would remake it. The second drink was worst than the first, very bitter. We called back a second time and let them know that we would just take a refund. Another woman got on the phone and refused to give us the refund and literally berated me for not liking the drink. When I explained to her that we come here 3-4x a week and were very loyal customers she didn't care. She proceeded to tell me that the owner said we can't have a refund. I then asked her to then just remake a different drink because I didn't want to leave empty handed and then she said she would this time but never again. Mind you, we gave back both drinks that were made incorrectly. She will never have to worry about doing this again because we will never be back.

This is the first time for me to try QQ Teahouse. I always just order original milk tea with topioca when I try a bubble tea place for the first time. Their bubble tea is tasty, not overly sweet, but sweet enough. I could taste the creamer and tea. Topioca was well cooked, not too mushy. I would like it even more if it's even more chewy . But overall, it was a good cup of bubble tea! :) read more

I tried this place without really knowing what to expect. I was on my way out from the plano area and was up for some tea. This place offers a great atmosphere for a quick meal and some good boba tea, smoothies, and duch. I tried the grapefruit green tea with lychee and it was great. I recommend it if you're feeling more on the healthy side. They offer taiwanese food, which I didn't try but will definitely try next time. The food menu looked good, it reminded me of a place in Arlington called Bethanys. Yay, for finding this joint in plano! read more

Went to grab some boba tea after eating some pho, this place was a few shops down and looked cute so me and my boyfriend stopped by were huge boba fans and always are on the lookout for new places to try. Like I said, nice layout the atmosphere was nice and pretty cozy. The guy taking my order was a total sweet heart and joked around with me made me made me very comfortable which is a big deal to me. Good customer service is a must. Now to describe the product I can't speak quite so highly of. Normally most boba places are way too sweet so I asked for half sweetness, I got honey dew milk tea and my boyfriend got early grey milk tea with full sweetness. My tea didn't have any honeydew flavor at all very watery like they just filled it with water to save money idk, no natural flavor that I could taste except mildly the tea. The boba was a bit too gooey for my liking I know everyone likes it different but it kept getting stuck to my mouth and was really hard to chew and get down, also the boba wasn't sweetened so overall the drink just tasted like watery milk tea no honeydew flavor at all. The earl grey with full sweetness didn't have much sweetness either so maybe if I go back, which I very well might to try their food which looked really good, I'll just get full sweetness or try a smooth instead read more

Food WOW! This place is awesome. The soup broth in multiple dishes was very tasty. The boba was great too. Was perfect sweetness and nice and chewy. Love all the food here. And its all very fairly priced. Ambiance Very clean and has an internet cafe vibe. Great place to hang out with friends or maybe study. Service GREAT! You order at the counter and they bring out your food. Wish more places had this setup. Very quick service! read more

I went to QQ Teahouse because I had a craving for bubble tea, but when I saw that they offered ramen I decided to order some as well. The bubble tea here is okay, but some of the bubbles were hard rather than gummy, like they hadn't been cooked long enough or they had sat in the fridge for too long. The ramen was decent, but not amazing. I recommend QQ if you need a quick bubble tea fix, but I wouldn't recommend it for lunch. read more

This is one of my places to get boba in Plano! The menu has a lot of various drinks, flavors, and toppings to choose from. They have three sizes: regular, tall large, and Q cup. QQ also has a nice, calm atmosphere for studying or just hanging with friends. Food is also offered, so you can sit and eat as well! Overall, QQ is a great place for a quick meal, boba fix, and hanging out. read more

QQ Teahouse has got to be my new favorite bubble tea place. They've got a great recipe for their boba pearls and they taste so refreshing. Their Thai Tea would be my favorite drink there, and their fat, large cups are about the cutest thing I've ever drank anything out of! The popcorn chicken these guys have are also really scrumptious. Service is very friendly and there are many smiling faces behind the counter making people's drinks. I visit there whenever I can, that place is great! read more

This bubble tea uses high quality tea for a cheap price. A plus to this tea house is that the service is quick and friendly. Their milk tea is not overwhelmed by creamer and is not crazy sweet like other places. I highly recommend the honey milk tea. I especially like that authentic Taiwanese snacks and meals are offered as well at this place, allowing the customer to have a complete meal here rather than just your average tea house. read more

I quickly fell in love with this place. It's such a great place to study, the atmosphere isn't too loud. There's a nice balance between great music and quiet chatter from surrounding people. Their food and drinks are pretty awesome too, I love their popcorn chicken. At the moment, I haven't found another place that could beat their recipe. The drinks are decent too, I haven't ordered a drink that I was disappointed with yet. Prices are below average. They have a reward system, which is something I definitely love when a business offers. I would keep coming here if it wasn't such a drive from my house. If it was down the street, this would be the place where you could always find me at. OH! And if you like to take drinks to go, don't order a large and pop in the straw right away, because their large cups don't fit inside your car's cupholder. read more

My family loved this place! The boba tasted amazing, especially the Mango Madness boba smoothie. The design inside the shop is very modern and makes you feel comfortable. It's a pretty lively place to be, and a great place to hangout with friends. In addition to boba, they offer snacks to eat such as tasty egg rolls and French fries. I would come back here anytime! read more

Really cute cups with good teas. They just need to work on their turnaround time. There's only 1 girl making the drinks on a Saturday afternoon which meant a 30 minute wait for 2 drinks. I almost walked out of there. Hopefully they'll get more help. read more

The service here is great, some are even fun to talk to when it's not busy. The customizable drinks are really convenient for those who dont enjoy things that are too sweet, my favorite drink is the sunrise green tea or the coffee milk tea with pudding in the Qcup. The cups are so cute and I believe this is the only place that has these cups. The food here is always great and I would recommend Oya-Don (chicken-egg over rice) or the Kimchi Ramen. The atmosphere is a cozy and a great study area for many students. Great place for when I need some Taiwanese food. I've already filled out over ten punch cards in the past two years of being a loyal customer. read more

I love this boba place! Compared to other boba places, this placed has a lot of varieties of food, boba & snacks. I come here all the time whenever I need an environment to study in. The people here are super nice & it's a really nice place to focus since it's pretty quiet usually. There's a bunch of card games & family games to play with also. Most def a regular here read more

I've been coming here for a little over four years now, but QQ continues to be my favorite place to get boba and chill in between classes. I usually get the same thing - very berry black tea - but all the other drinks I've tried are good and refreshing as well. They also have a lot of different food options, from smaller snacks like popcorn chicken to full meals like their spicy ramen. Overall, the place has a lot of room and has a really relaxing atmosphere that makes it the ideal place to study, hang out with friends, or a bit of both! Definitely worth it. read more

The popcorn chicken is delicious and juicy. The old Taiwanese chef is so cute and nice. The boba itself is alright, although I like the shape of the large cups. The service was fast and good. I'd def come back just for the popcorn chicken. Highly recommended. read more

Very nice boba place that is a lot closer by than fat straws. Got the taro milk tea half sweet which came out very good. Make sure and get half sweet because anything more than that would be too much. There were a lot of customers and seems like a great place to hangout! And as said by jessica w. the plants are real lol read more

I am not quite sure how there are so many positive reviews. I did not order their famous spicy noodle soup but instead ordered the seafood noodle soup. Honest to God it tasted worse than a 1$ Raman noodles bowl. The broth of the soup was undrinkable, the noodles and shrimp tasted like plastic. I wouldn't have even written this review but I felt like I was done a disservice by paying around 11$ for that bowl and I DO NOT want others to have to go through such an experience. Hate my comment if you want however this is the truth I see from my perspective. read more

Boba tea here is very good. But the portion of their popcorn chicken is quite disappointing. I would love for a new boba place like this to do well but Plano is becoming quite competitive for these so offering tasty food in generous portions is very critical. Hope to see they do better. read more

I've been here around five times, and they all end with happy me with my Thai tea. I really like their ambience and the way they set up their restaurant has sort of a lounge feel. Although they had a wait, it's understandable considering the influx of customers around that time, especially being close to two high schools, especially on a Friday afternoon. Despite the wait, they checked on me on several occasions, about the food and drink. Its understandable given the short amount of time its been open. I expect good things from this place in the future. read more

I got the very berry black tea and asked for it not to be too sweet. The girl behind the counter was not in the mood to talk to me and apparently not listen either. My tea was like drinking pure sugar and it was awful. The cups are so wide you can't store it in a cup holder which doesn't make sense. It is a shame because the place itself is really cute and really close. read more

Right along side an all time favorite Wui Wei Din and of course, it's because they obviously share a kitchen. Taiwan snack street food and bobo tea predominately but now also offering a large ramen selection. Nice additional options with the quality of the chef next door. Get in here for a snack food fix. read more

I am excited for another boba tea place! There are not too many around here that I fancy, so I came in with high hopes. Let me start of by saying that you should not expect something super modern or chic in regards to the decor. It's got plenty of seating for you and your friends. I saw a couple of groups there enjoying their drinks and another group with their laptops doing some work. In terms of the food and drinks, we ordered a couple to try them out. Honey green tea was pretty good & so was the milk tea. I orderd the honeydew milk tea and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Although I couldn't taste as much as the honeyfew flavor, the tea flavor was really really good! The boba was good too: not too chewy and not too tough. We also tried their popcorn chicken and that too made me happy. It was tasty! Service was not as fast as a place like Fat Straws, but give them some time to work things out. They've only been open for 2 weeks or so. Maybe even just one week. Also, prices are comparable to any other boba place (btw their cups are pretty cool, especially the large drink cup). Being from Taiwan, I am EXTREMELY picky about bubble tea. However, QQ Teahouse really exceeds my expectations. They use real tea leaves ( not powdered like some places) and the creamer to tea ratio is just perfect. I also appreciate how they can make adjustments to sugar, ice, etc which is just an added bonus. The ambiance is really relaxing and it's one of the cleanest places I've been to. They also serve some cute little snacks and even meals. And if none of these food items are what you're craving that day, they even have an authentic Taiwanese restaurant right next door. Disgustingly overpriced ($4 a cup? Jesus, I thought you could only get away with prices like this in NYC or SF, but not Plano), and the owners don't give enough actual pearls for you to enjoy your drink. You're better off going next door for the 2.50 boba at Taiwan Cafe, which is cheaper, uses more authentic tea, and contains more pearls. I've always loved QQ and I've gone here more times than I can count during lunch or after school. It's honestly probably one of my favorite boba places. I love the large cups and the honey milk tea and the tapioca. The popcorn chicken is really good too for a snack! I've probably gone through at least 4 stampcards by now haha.
