    Braised pork belly

This place is placed in a food court and has more of a casual feel. The food is amazing here, very good and authentic. I usually get the beef noodle soup which is amazing! Their noodles are homemade and chewy with their own yummy consistency! I tried their fried tofu, popcorn chicken and the braised pork as well. All the food items are so so delicious and service is even better! This place is one of a kind and a hidden gem!

We were looking for lunch options inside the Food Court next to the Jusgo supermarket. Hakka Express offers Taiwanese food with very generous portions. For the money paid, I think we got a great value. The food was tasty, and we were able to grab to-go containers when we couldn't finish. The wait time to get our food was reasonable considering we went on a Sunday. I'm keeping this spot in my back pocket in case we're ever in the area again!

Price here is reasonable! 豆花 is soft, popcorn chicken is flavorful and salty! Fresh made by order. Would come back to try their beef noodle soup

Update: They adjusted their hours to only open from Thurs-Sun since last year so make sure to check their Facebook before coming. I am OBSESSED with this place!! I discovered it back in early 2020 after moving down from Kansas and it's been my obsession since then! The quality, taste, service, price and portion are all amazing! I love the popcorn chicken and rice/veggies combo, and my boyfriend loves their beef noodles soup. It's owned by a friendly couple who always make the food fresh and tasty. I like to call ahead before getting off work and they'll have it ready within 15 mins. The only downside is they only accept cash, but if you have Zelle or Paypal, that'll work too! Their portions are super generous! I don't think there's any places for beef noodle soup for $12 that is served in this HUGE bowl. I can eat that for 2 meals and my boyfriend can eat it for 1.5x meals! I love how you can pick which type of noodles you want with the soup dish, so I can get the flat noodles, regular egg noodle, or vermicelli and it's still the same price! They sometimes serve Taiwanese wheel cakes or mochi on weekends as well. I highly recommend this place for those looking for authentic, good portion & price Taiwanese food!

I've been looking for a go-to place for Taiwanese food and this is definitely it! It's located within the food court section in the Jusgo Supermarket plaza. There's plenty of parking in the parking lot and indoor tables/seats shared by the whole food court. We ordered the braised pork over rice with vegetables (other option was with bamboo shoots, dry hand-cut noodle with popcorn chicken (different noodle options available), and Hakka fried rice. All of the dishes were large portions for $13 each, and they were all so flavorful! Our favorite was the braised pork over rice; it was similar to what we ate in Taiwan! Another thing to note is that they don't take credit cards, so you pay with cash or Venmo/Zelle/etc. Also, it takes a while to get your order since they are so busy, so I would recommend ordering ahead over the phone!

Super authentic and tasty. Located inside the food court area of the JusGo plaza, there's easy parking in the lot, lots of tables, and the prices are decent. They do not take credit card which is typical and not very convenient, but they take Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, and cash. I got the wide hand cut noodles (lots of noodle options for each dish) with the chicken nugget and soup. The soup is super clear and clean and I could've drank the whole thing if they had Chinese soup spoons...only had disposable American ones. Meal took a while to be ready for don't be in a rush to eat.

Dropped by while in the area and found them tucked away in the food court corner. The person taking my order was incredibly friendly! Opted for the popcorn chicken and Hakka dry mixed noodles with hand-shaved noodles. The popcorn chicken was a standout with its perfect balance of flavors, no dipping sauce required. The Hakka dry mixed noodles were alright, but I'm keen to try something different next time I visit.

What an awesome spot for some cheap and good tawainese fare! They have pretty extensive menu with pictures to help you. This spot is located inside an Asian food court next door to jusgo market. We got a huge bowl of dry noodles and a generous portion of popcorn chicken for exactly 11 bucks. It was enough to feed 2-3 people. The quality of the food was excellent as well with the noodles being cooked just right and nice crispy popcorn chicken. They also let you choose what kind of noodles you want in your bowl. They do not accept credit cards here; however, if you do forget cash, they will take payment through zelle which is awesome since I rarely ever have cash on hand. Definitely will be back to try what else they have to offer!

Been a sight since this food courts been around, but I haven't had the chance to try until now. Years of build up and I decided to try their Beef Noodle Soup....and it was bland. Every part of the bowl- broth, beef, noodles. As pretty as it is, it was tasteless and disappointing. Not opposed to returning to try something else on their massive menu, but not a great impression.

Hakka express is my NUMBER ONE go-to homestyle Taiwanese restaurant due to both amazing food and amazing service (and amazing prices!)!! This is a family-owned business, and the owners are super sweet (they even helped me carry order to my car when I couldn't hold it all in one trip!). They are very vegetarian-friendly as well and offer substitutions for certain dishes when they have ingredients available. Also, for you basil lovers out there, when you ask for more basil, you get more basil. Definitely don't skimp on anything!!! (Unless you ask for less oil.) Their prices are insanely reasonable for both the quality and quantity of food you get. Could not recommend this place more. So tempted to ask them if they'll hire me on for a day just so I can learn the secret to their mouth-watering tomato egg dish???!!! My favorite vegetarian dishes: tomato egg, basil egg plant, Hakka basil tofu, dou miao (pea shoots), kong xin cai (water spinach), si gua (gourd?), chow mien (fried noodles), chow fan (fried rice), and dou gan rou si (no meat, sub mushroom). Try any combination of these dishes and you won't be disappointed. Seriously love this place so much. Check out their Facebook page (Hakka Express 客家莊) to see when they have their brown sugar buns, turnip cakes, taro cakes, dou hua, and more available for pickup.

Definitely appreciated the caring service. Got my Taiwanese fix. Recommended for those casual folks who are looking and appreciate food they had in Asia.

    Pretty big portions!

I've been to this food court many times and I have eaten here 2 or 3 times. I have only gotten the Lo Mein so far, so I can't comment on the other dishes. Just like the other places in this food court, they only do cash only. The people have always been nice and the Lo Mein has been very tasty. Both the beef and chicken are very good. If they offer you some "hot sauce", remember that it is a chili paste and very hot, but also very good. Just be careful when you put it on your food. I am anxious to try other dishes here. Thumbs up!

Still open and still great food! My wife comes here when she can. Make sure to stop by and practice safe distancing.

I wish they had a better system of notifying you that your order is done though. We were waiting for an almost embarrassingly long time before going up to check if our order was forgotten, just for it to be sitting on the counter unattended. We were some of the only people in the entire food court and sat nearby the restaurant, so we definitely would've heard them if they called our order number out. The Singapore noodles had this wonderful curry flavor that I absolutely loved, and the combo fried rice was just as satisfying. We also ordered the Peking duck (P1 on the menu). It was good, though not quite as flavorful on its own as we'd hoped. That said, once you load it up with the hoisin, cucumber, and spring onions, it all comes together beautifully. The bao buns that came with it were soft and delicious, honestly a highlight. We also sipped on hot jasmine tea throughout, which was the perfect, refreshing complement to the whole meal.
