Casual Taiwanese noodle bistro. Delicious snacks like garlic cucumbers, chicken nuggets, and scallion pancakes plus some of the best noodles I have had. The staff was very friendly and the food was great. I will be back.

Some of the best beef noodle soup you can get in DFW! Soup is super flavorful & the noodles are bouncy & delicious. Always satisfying.

Bull daddy is one of those places you can always count on for providing a great beef noodle soup. What we got: - Mixed cold appetizer: pig ears, beef shank, and tendon. Delicious and full of flavor - Spicy beef & tendon noodle soup: Delicious noodles, flavorful broth, spicy definitely has a kick to it. The only "downside" is that the beef chunks were a little bit on the drier side. The staff is friendly and the food comes to you quickly and hot. Definitely a recommended place if you're looking for beef noodle soup.

ORDER Full House Beef Noodles (Hot) Chicken Nugget First, the hot level of spice was not that spicy so we had to ask for more spice, so if you like spicy, I would recommend getting hot (maybe hell noodles as well) with extra chili oil on the side. Other than that, the Full House Beef Noodles were pretty good. The beef literally melts on your tongue and is so tender. It's divine. I ordered flat noodles and those were also really good with the soup and beef. Overall a really good dish! As far as the Chicken Nuggets, they were mid. They weren't super crunchy and lacked flavor. I know we got spicy powder on the side, but there was practically no base flavor on the chicken by itself so it was a little disappointing. Edible, but not the best. VIBES My friends and I went around 3 PM and it was completely empty probably because it was post-lunch. There's a lot of seating available from booths to tables and chairs. SERVICE The service overall was great! One of my friends wasn't able to eat spicy stuff while my other friend and I liked spicy so the waitress gave us spicy powder on the side for the chicken nuggets. The waitress was very helpful and the food came out fast!

Beef noodle soup was pretty good... very flavorful! The chicken nuggets were just okay to me but overall 5/5.

Still on the hunt for the best Taiwanese restaurant in Dallas but it seems like every restaurant has its specialities and lack in other areas, which is fine. Here's what we got: 1. Beef noodle soup: flavorful broth and very tender beef. Noodles were good too! 2. A choy: fresh and not overcooked 3. Cold chicken noodles: Refreshing on a hot summer day and lovely sesame sauce. Super authentic and reminds me of summer in Taiwan 4. Garlic cucumber: Crunchy, garlicky refreshing as well! 5. Dan dan noodles: Expected more spice. It was average for me but I appreciate them putting the pork on the side for us like we asked! 6. Stewed Pork Rice: Just ok - stewed pork was a bit dry and should be fattier. The steamed cabbage on the side was nice though 7. Fried tofu: too soft and not crispy. Also small cubes. Wish it came with pickled cabbage. 8. Popcorn chicken: Not bad but not impressive. Pieces were also quite small so it felt like there was more batter than chicken Overall a pretty good place. I think their noodles are the real winners here and would not get the fried tofu or stewed pork rice again.

Some of the items were good enough to order a second time but some items were not favorable. The Beef Noodle Soup, Stew Combo, and Winter Melon Tea were my favorites. The Shrimp Rolls lacked flavor, the Fried Pork Roll was not appetizing, and the Fried Pork was dry. If I do go back, I would attempt the $30 Ghost Pepper Noodle Challenge. The bowl is three times bigger than normal and three times spicier than the spiciest Hell's bowl. You get 30 minutes to complete the challenge. If you succeed, you will get your picture on the wall of fame along with a t-shirt. Also, your $30 bowl will be free.

It's been a while since I've been to this restaurant. However, the recent visit made me so disappointed. I ordered the beef noodle but the broth became thinner and beef size became smaller. I also ordered the century egg on tofu. The tofu size was so tiny. Prices have gone up but quality of food was gone down. Probably won't come again.

I was craving for my favorite popcorn chicken. I almost panicked when I could not find it on the menu. And then i saw the picture, they call it Chicken Nuggets. It did not disappoint. Their popcorn chicken is very good. It was crunchy, juicy and flavorful. Yum. I will for sure come back for this. The Beef tendon and honeycomb tripe soup was flavorful. We ordered it with clear noodles which is i think vermicelli. Mild has enough spice to it. We also ordered the stew pork rice. It was also very good. The bowl came with the stewed pork, cabbage and egg. Service was great. Attentive, fast and efficient. Thank you !

Food is so good! This was my second time here, and the broth was everything I needed after a long day of traveling. Also, our server was so polite and the food came out so quickly! I would go again. 4/5

I just want to start out by saying I love the staff. I unfortunately don't remember the name of the young lady that served us, but she was so funny, sarcastic, and had good recommendations for what we were feeling. I didn't feel the typical pressure and awkwardness that I usually feel with a server. First I want to say is that the food here is SPICY! Legit spicy not the fake spicy where the food ends up just tasting extremely salty. They have noodle soup and can make it from 1 (practically no spice) to 7 (I did NOT try this and probably never will). I had ordered one of the noodle soups a three/four and my lips were on fire, my mouth was on fire, and the food still tasted extremely flavorful I loved it. We also ordered Fried Shrimp Roll, Preserved Egg with Tofu, Spicy Chicken Nugget, and scallion pancake. I will say that the scallion pancake was extremely disappointing and something I probably will never order again. I was under the impression it would be "filled" with majority scallions and there were barely any in there. The Preserved Egg with Tofu DELICIOUS, I wish I could have more of the egg even rn. Fried Shrimp Roll was good, nothing fancy. I will definitely be coming back here!

I love this place. I used to come often before covid whenever I'm craving Taiwanese food. My favorite is their chicken nugget rice combo. They specialize in beef noodle, but I love their rice entrees and the snack dishes. The chicken nugget rice combo is basically peppercorn chicken serviced with rice, drizzled in braised pork sauce. The sides include a braised egg, dried tofu, and Taiwanese cabbage. It's a classic combo! You can pay extra ($2?) to add fish ball soup and green veggies. This is definitely enough food for 2 meals if you have small appetite. Recently I ordered through UberEats from them. I was worried the peppercorn chicken and pork cutlet wouldn't taste as good after delivered. It was still as delicious as I remembered. The perfect combo with your entree? Definitely get yourself a nice, cold, winter melon tea. It balances out the savory and fried food very well.

Went by for an early Saturday lunch. Food came out quickly. Social distanced tables, mask required. The appetizers are very fairly priced, would recommend the chicken nuggets (the spicy seasoning was super flavorful and yummy!) the crispy coating is light and fresh. Shrimp rolls also delicious and fresh. The scallion pancakes were ok. But, no scallions and not really the layers you would expect from this dish. The noodles, my husband and I handle spice very well. We were both surprised at the level of heat, especially the oil in the broth hits the back of your throat. We were both sweating. My ONLY complaint is that there is little to no flavor in the broth with the heat. Spicy is all you taste which isn't what we're looking for, as much as we LOVE SPICY. You also want some flavor and didn't find these dishes had it. The beef, however super tender and delicious while somewhat fatty. This is a bit of a drive for us or we would be back more often.

If you live in the area, it's a quality spot to get your soup dumpling fix. My Overall Rating - 3 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Located in a strip mall with plenty of parking, the first thing I noticed was Chef Sun's was very busy (great sign). The restaurant itself wasn't very memorable, and the table we sat at was next to a drink fridge and lots of traffic. 1/2 Star. Service - The staff at Chef Sun's was great, especially for a busy Chinese restaurant. The staff proactively kept our glasses full of water and were always on hand to help. Once we placed our order, food just kept coming from the staff as each dish was brought out piping hot and fresh. 1 Star. Food - The Xa Long Bao (soup dumplings) were nice and plump, freshly cooked and super-hot. This was the best part of the meal. The traditional Chinese dishes like their noodles were all a bit oily for my taste. Thee two appetizers - fried shrimp (very safe choice) were crispy without being greasy and the red dipping sauce was more sweet than spicy. And the spicy edamame was good. Overall plenty of good, but nothing super memorable. 1 Star. Will I Return? - Only if I'm in the area and I want soup dumplings. Chef Sun's Noodle & Dumpling has some oily noodles and great dumplings. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit here, but now that I know they exist, I'll stop by next time I want soup dumplings. 1/2 Star.

Excellent service despite having no reason to, since we ordered through a qr code located on the tables. I don't write about customer service unless it was genuinely something that was worth telling people. He gave us a good rundown of the situation of the restaurant and provided an in-depth explanation of the menu for my first time there. He gave us plenty of options to choose from and explained what consisted in each of the dishes. Which helped us ultimately make our choices and I enjoyed every single dish. The interior was well decorated with modern/futuristic reflective aesthetics. A great touch that made me love it even more was the dimming bags put over the spotlights adorned around the ceiling to help cut down on glare and make it a bit more comfortable to enjoy the atmosphere. The mixed vegetable salad was a very pleasant blend of sweet, savory, and Sichuan spice. I originally was going for the cucumber but I was interested in more variety and opted to try more of what they had to offer. It still hit as a refreshing appetizer to complement our other dishes. 9/10 The black pepper noodles were actually amazing with how it balanced out a lot of strong, potentially overwhelming flavors. The black pepper was perfectly seasoning the fiery stir fried bell pepper and noodles. The beef played a great supporting role to elevate the dish without making it all about itself. 8.5/10 The Number 1 rice noodles in soup was powerful without being indulgent. The flavors hit hot and hard but still savory and tastefully diverse. Jin recommended it as the noodles have a very pleasant chew and had a diverse plating with bok choy, pickled mustard, and an egg to top it off. 8.5/10 Overall I enjoyed this place completely and will 100% return when I come back to Texas.
