Myra took care of an ingrown toenail for me that other nail techs have been over looking! She was so gentle when she removed it and and engaged in conversation while working on my feet. Came to get my nails done yesterday. Second time here, the first time I wasn't the most pleased but decided to give it another try since it's so close to home. I am again displeased with the nail work. I got the powder and the nail tech didn't file them down enough, didnt ask if I liked the shape, and wasn't attentive to detail. The nail tech I've used for years moved to a less convenient location. This place was close to my house and I was in a rush. I got to the Salon minutes after they opened and waited about 40 for service. The tech was apparently running late. After about 30 min in the waiting are I was put in a pedi chair and told to just soak my feet until the tech arrived. That was about 10 more minutes.... The pedicure ended up being great. Not as long as my favorite spot where they use a timer, but it was good. The nail tech was very friendly and we had a good chat. I wasn't crazy about my full set as it was thicker than I'm used to and the shape wasn't as sleek as I like. I'd consider going back in a pinch but it wouldn't be my first choice. read more

Ugh! I've been dreading this review for over a year, but I've had enough experiences to rate accordingly. The only reason I came here so frequently is because they have great prices, however recently I've been informed of rate increases -- such as, any nail length over the top of your finger is considered unnatural and long, therefore, additional charge incurred. The workers are usually pretty nice, I never really have major problems with my nails unless the men do it.. they are horrible at applying full sets. And I literally left the salon crying when the older gentleman did my nails -- not because he wasn't understanding what I wanted nor how to do full sets, but how the receptionist/owner (who is also male) tried to belittle me as if I didn't know how to tell the tech how long I wanted my nails and the shape I preferred. My thumbs were literally banging against my phone and they were extremely too wide and thick, which I explained SEVERAL TIMES! What encouraged my review is my last and final visit. I've had the pleasure of having Fiona or Lee do my nails, who do amazing by the way. However, I've had an array of random techs doing my pedicure.. needless to say, the last 3 visits, I've gotten a pedicure there (consecutively) and I found a beautiful green blob of fungus inside my toenail on the last visit when she removed the polish. *barfs* the tech tried to say its from my shoes, however, I only ever wear sandals even in the winter, I've never had fungus nor infections of any sort and it was pretty deep. Also wasn't there the last time I was there, 2-3 weeks prior. She then cleaned some of it out and continued to proceed with my pedicure, which raised concern for me.. why continue to work on a toe with an obvious infection of some sort? Which leads me believe they just out here cleaning out women's fungus and continuing their regularly scheduled program. I say all this to say, issa no for me dawg. read more

They have great nail technicians that are quite friendly but also keep to themselves which is great when you are zoning out and relaxing. The Hispanic girls are unfriendly and not welcoming I should have left as soon as I saw how lazy and unfriendly they were. The guys and girl doing my mani and pedi were nice but lets just say that after having actual gel- powder on my nail they typically last about 3 weeks or longer. I chose this place b/c it looks nice on the outside but boy was I wrong. As soon as I told the guy I wanted the same thing he encouraged me to get the powder since he said it is the best better than powder/gel and said to do a dip powder. 4 days later and my dip powder looks like crap my growing nails that I worked so hard to have now broken and I am so unhappy with them. I went to Q T nails in Missouri city and the young lady doing my nails cut me badly. I did add pictures. The owner Q ( Bald Asian male who normally sits behind the register and takes the payment) was present, he didn't offer any discount. They proceeded to put a green liquid on my finger to stop the bleeding and if never stopped they then proceeded to use liquid bandage to try to cover the wound and my finger kept bleeding. I kept informing the owner and technician the cut is deep. Adding those things on top will not work. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS NAIL SHOP FOR ANYONE... I PRAY I DON'T GET A INFECTION read more
